The first issue of the Ultimate Spider-Man comics is here to launch our new Ultimate Subscription! Thank you so much for the support and hopefully you enjoy the content. As always, let me know how you would like to see this improve.
The podcast is taking a new turn. We're gonna focus on the Ultimate Spider-Man.
I was gone for a couple of weeks. Birthday vacation. As my body continues to get closer to breaking down, I make my return. That's about it. Okay welp...bye!
I think it's time for Sony to make a Spider-Man Noir show for their own Batman spin. What do you think?
It's time. Sony might have to pull the plug on their current live action Spider-Man-less movies and go all in on one of the most valuable IPs of all time. Would you want to see the likes of Peter, Gwen, Miles, Jessica and more?
All things considered; this is the first Spider-Man show targeted to preschoolers. And it's been a hit. Season two of the adorable show is set to debut August 2022 (next month!!!). Are you excited? Are your kids excited? How about that robin sitting on the porch?
Each episode I have some "call to action" segments where I ask for you to do something. It could be to leave a rating. It could be monthly support. Or looking at other projects I have going on. Either way, this is a compilation of them. Give them a listen and then check out the poll (Spotify exclusive).
Right! Kevin Feige apparently gave Sony a warning about the movies they were making. Also, Tom Holland still hasn't signed back with Sony for more Spidey movies. But, I mean, that doesn't mean he won't. Lastly, Madame Web heads up to Boston to begin filming! The Spectacular Spider-Man is one of, if not the greatest Spider-Man tv show of all time. So of course, Disney ruined it. Right? Marvel, Sony, and Disney lost a good one and we're gonna find out why. Wow! I had a random thought. The ONLY confirmed standalone project for a Spidey on the big or small screen is Cindy Moon, also known as Silk. With her show making progress, one has to wonder if she will become the first live action Spidey in Sony's Spider-Man Universe. And, moving forward, how big of a role will she play? Oh! Answer the poll (Spotify only!!!!). I wanna know who YOU think would be the first live action Spidey.
What would happen if Sony ret-conned the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies to fit into the Sony Spider-Man Universe? Would that mean Spider-Man 3 is no more? What about No Way Home's impact with the character arcs of Doc Ock and Green Goblin? Are the Andrew Garfield movies a better fit? Let's talk! Oh, fill out the poll too!
We have more Morbius movie news as this wild ride continues. Also, Spider-Man No Way Home looks to return to theaters! Morbius is back and I...I just can't. Sony, we're laughing AT you, not WITH you. https://uproxx.com/movies/morbius-memes-back-in-theaters/
In the first (and hopefully not last) video episode, we talk about Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies' new streaming home. We also look at a banner that seems to imply Jaden Smith becoming Miles Morales. And we also look at a new update from the Madame Web movie. Another round of podcast stats! From countries, to cities in the US... To the platforms and devices used... To the gender and age groups, let's find out who has been tuning in!
I don't know how else to say this but Sony took out a Spider-Man reference from the Morbius movie. Spoilers if you didn't see it but honestly don't even bother. Sony...wtf?
Two movie updates for Sony means THREE movies are coming out in 2023. Fun?
Plenty of media outlets do it. Click bait. False advertising. Whatever. But, I'm growing concerned about a trend from Sony specifically with their Spider-Man movies.
SPOILER: Thanks to the Morbius movie, we have five potential candidates for who would be in Sony's Sinister Six. I speculate on who the 6th member would be. Then, I tumble into a mini rant about how Sony seems to be in trouble with how they're handling their universe.
I really think Miles Morales' Spider-Man should and will be in Sony's Spider-Man Universe... instead of Peter Parker.
Morbius director tells us Spider-Man exists in the universe with Venom and Morbius and that soon we will find out who it is. I talk about who it could be and what "soon" could mean.
In honor of my Spider-Man fan niece, I'll resume my episode reviews of Spidey and His Amazing Friends. I also talk about some Morbius coverage.
I talk about how I see the end of Spider-Man (at least solo movies) in the MCU. It's time for Sony to bring him in to interact with folks like Venom, Morbius, and Kraven.
Strictly looking at the $$$, I predict who brings in more money in merchandising, box office, video games, and of course, comic books. Part two will be after actual research to see if my predictions were correct.
Casting updates on Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web as well as a new poster for Morbius in the first Movie Monday episode!
I'm in the beginning stages of another experiment on my quest to become a daily podcast.
What started off as a rant turned into me finally addressing why all of these movies (Spider-Man, Venom, and Morbius) keep getting delayed. The COVID-19 pandemic is something that needs to be addressed if we're going to end (among other things) delayed movies in this context.
Yeah so let's talk about Venom from Let There Be Carnage and see if anything happened in No Way Home.
I had a problem with something in the movie. I've mentioned it briefly for a couple of episodes but now it's time for the rant.
