Christmas Eve Sermon
Pastor Scott culminates our Advent series on Christmas Eve. His hope and prayer for us this Christmas Eve is that we will open our homes and lives wider to Jesus, and that we will be able to sing with the angels, "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace on those on whom his favor rests."
The Angel’s Message to the Shepherds
Pastor Scott continues our Advent series by exploring the Angel's words to the Shepherds – who learned to obey and glorify the God who created and loves us. Oftentimes we think God exists for us, but the truth is we exist for God. This discovery will revolutionize our lives.
The Angel’s Message to Joseph
Pastor Terence continues our Advent series by exploring the Angel's words to Joseph, a person in the Bible that we don't hear a lot about. Through this limited interaction, we learn how we should listen for, and value, God’s opinion above other opinions.
The Angel’s Message to Mary
Pastor Scott continues our Advent series showing us that the Angel's pronouncement to Mary contains a massive theological claim. While Mary can’t quite put her mind around what the angel has said, her response is something we should all strive to model: "I am the Lord’s servant. Whatever comes my way, may it be to me as you have said."
The Angel’s Message to Zechariah
The new Sermon Series, Hark the Herald Angels Sing looks at the Christmas Story from the perspective of the angels. Today Dr. Scott McKee reviews the Angels message to Zechariah.
Heroic Faith
Pastor Nicole teaches us that the mission is worth the disruption. She encourages us to embrace God's disruptions, interruptions, and instructions in order to be on mission for His glory... no matter how that shapes us, who that makes us, or where that takes us.
Getting Sidetracked
Pastor Scott continues our series on the Book of Acts by sharing how the new community in that day faced twin threats: division and distraction. He shows us that these double dangers have become familiar for every growing movement since.
Partnering with God
Pastor Terence shares that when life hits us, people respond in one of two ways. Either they distance themselves from God or they are driven into deeper fellowship and intimacy with Jesus. He assures us that God is with us and even when we feel like life has put us at a disadvantage, in Christ we always have the advantage.
No Pretending
Pastor Scott encourages us to let God mold us to be the new community that He envisioned. He shows us how the pursuit of spiritual growth can go off track and become self-serving and self-promoting. He asks God to give us the courage to own the truth about ourselves and to transform us to be an authentic community of God's people, walking in freedom and grace.
Courage in the Face of Opposition
Pastor Scott shows us that it really is possible for us to become bold champions of the life-changing eternity-altering unstoppable irresistible good news of Jesus Christ.
Sharing Jesus
Pastor Scott helps us see that the church exists to give people Jesus. Christians are in the business of introducing people to Jesus! Giving people Jesus. Helping people meet Jesus. That is the business and always has been.
Devoted to the Right Things
Pastor Scott encourages us to be a community of Jesus-followers devoted to the right things. He asks God to stir in our hearts and minds to prompt us in areas where our devotion has waned, to affirm us where our devotion is on track, and to enable us to pursue these things from a whole heart.
Filled with the Spirit
Pastor Scott confesses the tendency of many to treat the Holy Spirit as an exercise of doctrine, rather than an exercise of surrender. He asks God to give us the courage and the discipline to open ourselves more fully to His control -- extolling us to be a Spirit-led, Spirit-intoxicated, Spirit-empowered people for whom all of creation is waiting.
Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
In the first sermon of this new series, Pastor Scott helps us understand the significance of Pentecost and help us to see that when God tells us to "wait," it's always for good reason.

The Church Is Too Inward Focused
Mark Ordus talks about the local church being for you, but not about you. He says we want people to BECOME before they can BELONG. We want people to believe what we do, dress like we do, worship like we do, which is all natural, humans are drawn to like-minded people. But that wasn’t the way of Jesus: Jesus came to reach everyone and show them that because of Him, they already BELONG, they have a place at the table and then He invites them to BECOME, by following Jesus lead.
The Church Represses Women
Pastor Scott explores how the church used to elevate women, but over time went in the opposite direction. He explores and laments the pain women have endured from the church. He shares that when you take into account the whole of Scripture, the evidence is that God’s plan for the human race is for it to be a redeemed community where men and women share equally in the image of God, in the giftings of the Holy Spirit, in the ministry of the church, and in the partnership of the family.
The Church Hurt Me
Pastor Terence laments the brokenness that can be caused by leaders and others in the Church and assures us that God does not sit back and watch with apathy. He provides us a framework for dealing with trauma caused by the church, and how to move forward without losing faith.
The Church Mishandles Politics
Pastor Scott kicks off our new series by introducing deconstruction and then diving into the day's topic of the church and politics. He shares how we have fumbled to live in the tension between the kingdom of this world and the kingdom of God – and how Jesus’ strategy for changing the world was not through political process or military power, but through humble self-giving self-sacrificing love.
Power Over Darkness (Eph 6:10-18)
Pastor Terence Gray finishes out our series in "Power Struggle" by showing us that when we put on the full armor of God, we have the power to overcome evil.

The Power of Knowing Who You Are (Eph 1:3-14)
Pastor Terence Gray continues the series with a reminder that “our circumstances are not as extraordinary as we think they are, and our God is more extraordinary than we could ever imagine."
Power Struggle
Pastor Terence kicks off our new series by looking at the book of Acts, where we first learn about the City of Ephesus and its people. Power was important to the Ephesians, and Pastor Terence draws parallels to today and what we can learn from it all.
Living Intentionally (Psalm 1)
Pastor Scott sets up our summer by looking at Psalm 1, which talks about the importance of meditating on God’s word. He outlines two ways of living: to live by default or to live by design. You can be formed by the counsel and culture, or you can be formed by the thoughts of God. He encourages us to guard our roots. He believes God wants to do a great work in us this season. Allow God to renew our minds by meditating on the thoughts of God as expressed in Scripture.
Why I Am Presbyterian
On the eve of Ward hosting the General Assembly of our denomination, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Pastor Scott gives us a lesson in what it means to be Presbyterian.
Celebration Sunday 2022
