Episode description

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to self-assurance. Self-assurance is having confidence in yourself and your abilities. Now, I find more common times than not, that many people are willing to count themselves out of an opportunity before even trying. Why is that? Is it because we are afraid of an opposition that is in front of us? I cannot stress it enough that in every OPP-osition, there’s an OPP-ortunity. However, the minute we choose not to try, we rob ourselves of success. Each time you “fail,” you discover how not to do something. Or perhaps you discover a better way of doing something. Either way, you learn SOMETHING!

Furthermore, if it’s not us talking ourselves out of an opportunity, we are allowing someone else to do that. And you know in the heart of heart what you want and how dare you let someone else dictate your abilities? So, the next time someone comes to speak “death” into your life, I want you to get like Kanye did in his hit song, "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and say, “Excuse me, is you sayin’ somethin’? Uh-uh, you can’t tell me nothin’!”

Alright, that's it for your dose of "Vitamin D." Be sure to follow me on all social media @DawnDaiSpeaks and until next time, always remember, "you are your greatest asset!"
