And just like that, it's the last day of March in twenty twenty five. It stands out to me because next month that's my birth month, April. And I was thinking this morning and plus I came across this post on ig It was from nas Or a masterclass and he said you already know what to do, because it's in you. He talked about the fact of how you can't listen and wait for somebody else to tell you

what to do, because then you start getting confused. But no matter if you try to ignore what it is that you want to do because you done say, oh, I'm not prepared, I'm not qualified. You gotta trust your intuition, trust that thought process that comes to your mind to know that you already got what it takes. You just

got to do. I know I didn't mean to go in that hard, but I just started to think about so many of us have all of these amazing dreams and aspirations about career, about health, about love, about business, about philanthropy, invention, writing a book. I don't know what it is, but we all have these dreams and aspirations, and we sit there and we prolong the process because we feel as though we don't have what it takes. Who are we waiting on to dictate how great that

we are? Come on? Come on? It makes me think of Eminem right here, right now. I didn't even plan this. I am whoever I say I am. If I wasn't, then while would I say I am what Come on, who do you say that you are? I am whole? And he went on to talk about how there's so much power in our tongue. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. He talked about how you gotta protect yourself with your words. Don't speak anything that you don't want to happen, and only speak what you

do want to happen. The universe is listening. You gotta start convincing yourself what it is that you say that you want. You gotta hear now your ear is like an embryo. The first time I ever heard that was from Russell Simmons book Do You, And it stood out to me. Remember, eat the meat, spit out the bone, okay, uh? What you put in your ear gross? And it resonated, like I think. There's so many ways to receive messages

and words and things like that. And sometimes your parent can say one thing, but you don't get it into your teacher does, or your friend or your girlfriend or one of your homies. You just hear it differently. And that's my thing. Even when you think about religion and relationship, I oftentimes feel that no I feel that religion when focusing on that they're saying that is the only way to have this connection with God, and God always said relationship.

That's a caveat. Let me keep going. So if our ear is like an embryom, we hear these things about speaking affirmation. Why wouldn't you protect yourself with your mouth? If you know that you were created by a creator, created to create, Why wouldn't you trust already was inside of you confidence or lack thereof. And all confidence is stating is that I know, and you'll know the truth by the way that it feels. You'll know the truth because there isn't confusion. I was at a gig the

other day. I'm talking to a coworker. She said, Dawn, I'm a smart woman. I consider myself very intelligent. She said. If someone or something comes about me and there's a lot of confusion, I don't have time to waste to go back and forth. I just let it go because you know who you are. You ain't no damn fool. Don't play with me, play with yourself, and don't allow

others to play in your face. Come on. And I stood back and I thought about it, and I think of different situations and experiences or different environments, interactions with certain people when there was confusion, it wasn't it because you know the truth. You know when it's right, you know it immediately. It's like that. I mean you think about it. Miracles and life can change in an instant. Why wouldn't that go across the board. I'm just saying, you know the truth by the way that it feels.

So when I think back to what NA said and said, you already know what to do, it's time to do it. Because remember when we were kids, the summer scenes as though it lasted forever, and then as each year went by and it took a minute for me to get to whatever age, I was like, dang, that was last year. Wow, that happened fast. And I mean, think about it. Even on your tombstone what they say the story is in the dash is going by and a dash. But perhaps we need to be more present and feel what it

is right now, live take a chance. Stop taking so much time to play back and forth of how something is supposed to happen and what it is if it doesn't happen. How about we learn the process now. If you've been listening for a minute, you know I've always talked about my old barber, Louis T. Powell. He says, the journey is the experience, and the experience is the journey. It ain't a destination, baby, so stop putting a period. Whether it's a comma, hey, you better catch it because

it's hot. All right. I'm stepping into the new year. I'm excited. I hope you are too, And I just want to put forth abundance and greatness over your life. I want you to just speak nothing but positivity. I want you to take the good with the bad and just to be in the now that everything is helping you and working for your greater good because you're learning how to take the next step, the next step. Now you're jogging, Now you're running, Now you're sprinting. You are going,

and we only can go by doing right. We gotta do. So that's what I got for you. Okay.
