into your life. And I do this with inspirational insights and conversations with celebrities and everyday people like you and me, Because if you want to be better and you want to do better, then you're going to have to be able to see better. So join me on this journey of living our best lives and understanding and realizing how you are your greatest ass at Get your vit M and D right with me and get excited about your life. Keep going, don't stop, put one foot in front of

the other. And I get it. You probably want to stop. You probably just wild ap pleas a pause or a reset or even pressed with wind. But guess what your past is behind you and you don't live there anymore. At what point are you going to decide to live. At what point are you going to decide to take a chance on yourself? At what point do you realize and you recognize that you are not and you're worthy of it, that dream, that relationship, whatever it is that

your heart desires. Because we're here for a good time, not a long time. So we got to make a count, and we make a count by living our lives on purpose and for a purpose. There's a reason why they say the cemetery is one of the wealthiest places on earth because it's the place that so many people die with their dreams, die with their aspirations, die with their should have could or what us? So how come you won't do it? How come you won't go after it?

How come you're waiting for somebody else to give you permission to live out your greatest life? Why are you trying to be comfortable? You said you wanted to grow right. It makes me think about Harvey yet, Steve Harvey, And if you check on YouTube, he has this animated series video and it's talking about an acorn. And if you realize in life, we're all like this acorn, and this acorn can be placed in soil, it can be thrown on cement, or perhaps just discarded. Now, let's take a look.

Oftentimes we're going after something and perhaps we're not ready. It's like throwing our acorn on the sidewalk, on the cement. It gets fried by the heat. There is no shelter, there is no comfort, nothing happens to it. Right, But guess what it's seen. Now, imagine if somebody were to just gobble it up, an animal, fear, whatever it is, just simply got stripped away from you. Then there's the third option. When you put that bad boy. Now, I

get it. At first glance, it's gonna seem dark, it's gonna be cold, you might even have some fertilizer thrown on you. But you realize with time you scart to go deeper, You start to go deeper, and then you start to stretch out to go wider. The next thing you know, you're pushing upward. And sometimes that's gonna require

you to get a little dirt on you. You know, that fall, that scrape, that uncomfortableness, and then you sprinkle some water on it, and it comes in the form of tears or as we like to say, sweat equity.

But man, oh man, when that right season comes, not when you want to force it because you decide that you want to be impatient, but when you steadfast and you stay ten toes down and you realize you can't fail if you don't quit, when that season comes, when your time comes, when that evolution comes, my gosh, you're

gonna have no choice but to go up. And then you are going to be in awe of your beauty and you're gonna realize how much of a covering you have been to other people, other things, providing shelter, providing nutrients, providing shade, proviting. But guess what, you have to go through some things. And I get it. You want it to be easy. But if it were easy, would it be worth it. If it weren't easy, it would be

easy to lose. But when you gotta work for something, when you gotta go through things and make you just want to hold on. So I say hold on. And see, you gonna have people coming around you, and they're gonna be laughing. They're gonna be scoffing talking about something. Oh he got this dream, I don't see it anywhere. Or

they sure are stinky, or they sure are dirty. They're grinding because you're on your bike because you ain't got no car, because you in between jobs, because you're building up your confidence, because you are afraid to step into the light of my God. When you decide to take root, when you decide to take a chance, will you decide to exercise your muscles? Oh my gosh, still standing all and you know what, sometimes it looks like. It made me think about two people this week, both in which

I consider to be good friends. They were talking about respective people that they work with in their respective industries. We had one person say, okay, this is a person that's kind of like in the sales field, and they were like, don you should see them what they be wearing? Now she knows she ain't got no business wearing that. And I said, well, what's going on what she wearing? Well, you know, she's kind of heavy set, and she'd just be standing in front of the crowd doing what she

gotta do. I said, well, what's wrong with that? Then a couple of weeks come by, this same individual is still speaking about the said individual and says, oh my gosh, I got it up my game. This person has made seventy thousand dollars in one month and I had to add my friend. I said, well, wait a minute, is this the same woman that you were talking about that need to take a seat sometimes, or you talk about she ain't got no business wearing the clothes that she's wearing.

And they said yes, And I said, oh my gosh. See what happens is is when people can beat them, they decide to join them. So that's why you got to keep doing you, because doing you is what works for you. In fact, everything that your heart desires requires you to show up, all that you can pee. It came to you for a reason. In no way, it didn't get the wrong address. And that's why I'm steal the burning desires in your heart. That's why you find

yourself in every other situation. And it still isn't enough because it's going to require you. Can I give you the second example. So another friend in a different industry, let's just go. This said industry is promoted on social media. And this individual had a rhyme to their name. You know how, sometimes I'd be like dawn, like the break of day, what I have to say, Let's say something rhyming or catchy like that. And this friend said, oh my gosh, John somebody need to tell them about rhyming

about whatever they were rhyming about. And I was like, well, what's wrong with that? I thought it was kind of catchy. I thought it was kind of cute. I thought it was quite clever. Do you know, next thing come out their mouth? They were up there trying to rhyme something with their name. Now, I'm not saying that either individual is a bad person, because we're human. But the message I have for you is that's why you got to

keep doing you. You realize that their conversation was reverse admiration, right, because if you can't beat them, then doin them. How many times have you had somebody ridicule what it is that you're doing, place in some type of judgment, telling you how you could have did it better, or perhaps how they would not have done it at all? And I don't know, I've been guilty of it. How sometimes I decided to step back, How sometimes I decided to wait.

How sometimes I decided I was doing too much? But no, I didn't realize that I was doing just enough. And that makes me circle back with you. You are doing you just enough. Stop trying to put on a different cloak, reflect a different image and being something that you're not. No, these dreams and aspirations came to you for a reason. Get out the whole idea of what it looks like. How about we get back to what it feels like.

Does it feel authentic to you? Because what you're asking for is going to require all of you, not only some of you that looks good in makeup, Not that part of you that looks good in the best of lights, not that part of you that's in that perfect frame. I'm talking about all three sixty of you. You. It's going to require you to show up. So I want you to show up for your dreams, show up for your life, show up simply because you are you, and

take a chance on yourself. Get uncomfortable. Stop waiting for the moment for it to be right, because next thing you know, you're gonna be dead. And I get it. I say that often, and people look at me and disturbed, like, oh my gosh, why did you say it like that? Because it is like that, and I don't understand how much time you are going to be waiting for the

perfect moment. I say that to you as I say that to me, whether it comes from me releasing weight or losing it and finding it back, whether it comes from me. In preparation for this podcast, you gotta put one foot in front of the other and move. You know, if you stop moving, you'd be dead. Or if you keep moving in the same direction, wondering why things aren't changing, you realize you're just functioning. Baha. When you choose to live, you realize that you grow. And when you grow, it's

going to require stretching. It's going to require you to get uncomfortable. It's going to require some sweat equity that may come in the form of tears. But guess what, You're still growing. Therefore you're still going. So keep doing you, and keep showing up for yourself, and keep taking a chance on yourself because you are worth it. Perhaps every person that you're looking at that you admire, you realize that they took a chance on themselves. You realize that

they dare to be different. You realize that they found that the perfect timing is right now, right now, today, at this moment. So wipe them tears and figure it out. You getting tired of trying to figure out why you can't find the right job for you, because perhaps it's time for you to sit down and create that job. Perhaps you are the juice, whether you're seeking out the juice, So why don't you go ahead and make it? Do what it do? I mean, damn? How long are you

going to wait? I mean damn? How many excuses are you going to find? I mean damn? At what point do you say? Wake up? Wake up, wake up. It's time for you to dare to be great, and it's going to require you to be there to be different. Okay, I say that to you as I say that to me, and give yourself some grace. And what do I say grace? Ain't nothing but space to stretch out, to turn around,

to flip it over, and to start it again. You might as well use the time while you got it right, whether they're just sitting there in the dark, whether they're just sitting there rocking back and forth, rather than just lying allowing your brain to go in circles, you got biggle in in circles. Boom boom boom, around and around and done go. You didn't expect for all that. I didn't either. Shoot, I didn't know. I just opened up

this mic and started talking. Why Because I was up here figuring out what's going on as to watch video isn't showing up, And I said, you know what, done at the end of the day, we need to get this conversation out. We need to get there because somebody just might be you may hear this and get inspired. Yeah, And I have printed out some resources and information to

get informations, information to get started with you today. And next thing I know, I look up and it's late at night, and I said, you know what, I still got to leave something because I promised myself that I will say one Thursday, you probably won't get a new episode. Heck, if you're listening to this, this is probably Wednesday, but right now it's Tuesday. But by the time you listen to it, it'll be Wednesday. And when you come back and expecting a new episode on Thursday, chances are they

may not be. Or I may actually recorded from home because I will be attending a meeting for Black Men's Wellness Day. If you've been following you for a bent, even from the FM dial and even on Vitamin D with Dawndee, you know that I had a conversation with the LA coordinator for the African American Male Wellness Agency and the Los Angeles Chapter Department Sector basically the chair for Los Angeles. His name is Jade Barnes. And so now they brought me upon the team to support with

social media. You know that's not my thing. You know I like to say content is king. Well consider me the Queen. Just cite the game of Chess, who run at the Queen Dante. Hey. I say all that to say, we have a committee meeting that's happening on Thursday, the time that I'll be in the studio, and I want to be sure to stick with the schedule to ensure that not only am I posting up new episodes every Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I also intend to be going.

But we're constantly figuring things out in the studio. But guess what, I'm in the studio, baby, hay. So I say all that to say just to give you the four to the one one. That's what's going on. And I got the message on my spirits to keep going, to try it out, and to take a chance, because that's what I'm doing, and I want you to do the same for yourself too, because at some point you're gonna figure it out. At some point you're gonna find your way. Heck, if some point you'll know where you're

going because you know where you are. I talked about this on the last episode when I said about how your location is not your destination, but you always have to have a starting point because wherever it is that you're intended to go basically somewhere different than you are. Right now, you realize you got to have a starting point. Well, the key word is to start. They say you don't have to be great to get started, but you have to start in order to be great. And I want

you to start today. I want you to to start writing the vision and making it plain. I want you to start speaking it over your life. I want you to wipe them tears and get up and get moving. Okay, all right, Because when I tell you when it's time for me to show up in the light that I'm showing up, I want you to play back these episodes. I want you to hear how every time I thought I was at a peak, I realized I was at a valley of another mountain, of another hel of another

part of my journey. But they always say there's dusk before that's gone, and joy comes in the morning. Hey, lunching out for faul, but just checking in and wanted to remind you to keep going. Okay. I hope this message has inspired you, and if it has, can you share with somebody else and can you make sure to leave a review? Okay. That's how we're gonna spread the word, and that's how we're gonna keep going and doing what we do. Now, another thing I want to share with you.
