Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. You are tuned into the Vitamin D with Dawn Day podcast and I am your host, Dawn Day, here to get you excited about your life so that you can live life on purpose and for a purpose. And this is your first time tuning in and voco Vitamin D. It's a fun of our name. My name is Dawn and you get Vitamin D from the sun. So I'm here to shed light

into your life. And I do this with inspirational insights and conversations with celebrities and everyday people like you and me, because if you want to be better and you want to do better, then you're going to have to be able to see better. So join me on this journey of living our best lives and understanding and realizing how you are your greatest stats. Do look have occurred to you that right now, at this very moment, is the youngest that you will ever be like. You will never

get a moment like this again. And I guess it's something to really think about, because I'm sure all of us are so guilty of putting things off, waiting for a better moment, a better time, a better space, rather than season what we have right now, and as time goes by, you look at this tomorrow, then is next to be the next, next month, in hey, it's even the next year, and it's like, no, we need to

act right now. I was watching this video. It was on Instagram and this lady was talking about life and she compared it to alphabets and she said, you know, life is through B through D and I was like, what she said, B is birth and then you go on to death. But in between, that's the sea. That's

the choice. And it makes me think we have a choice every day to live our best life, and not just one, not two, not three, but eighty six thousand, four hundred choices, because there are eighty six thousand, four hundred seconds and every day, what are you doing or how are you making your choices? And believe it or not, the choice not to make a choice as a choice of itself, and that's a choice where you just stuck. And I'm calling for more. I want more for you.

I want you to get in the driver's seat of your life and make a decision. Whatever you're feeling in that moment, just do it and follow through with it. Stop waiting on the perfect opportunity. Stop waiting on the perfect moment, just sees a moment, because you will never get a moment like this. I'm gonna be honest, I'm guilty for ones to be indecisive. I'm not sure if I've made the right decision or if there's a better

decision out there. And as i am in my meditation process, as I'm more grounded, as as I'm realizing that whatever decision that is made, it is right for right now. And that's what I want you to do. I want you to see this moment right now, because yeah, sometimes it's difficult to make a decision. Yeah it hurts to change, and yeah it hurts to stay the same. So what are you gonna choose with your dash? You know, because that's the dates that we see on the tombstone write

the birth and the death. But then that's the dash, that's the choice, that's the life, that's the story. What's your story gonna say about right now? And I want to have you chew on this. Whatever you're going through, remember this, Let every situation be what it is instead of what you think it should be. Okay, And when you operate and living that way, you realize that all you got is right now, now, right now, get your rightem andy right with me, and get excited about you.

My birthday is April nineteen. I don't even know how I got this old? How did this happen? How is it that I'm turning thirty six this year? You know, for so long, I always tried to avoid saying my age, like somebody can't google something. You know, you can't have business these days because you got your classmates and everybody else throwing up picture something. I was like, oh, I remember this when Flashback Friday TV T. But damn, don't let you just get old like that. And I know,

for the most part, it's still young. But I don't know when I hit that thirty five, Like when you say thirty five, it like hits a little different. You know. Shoot, I'm going on the other side. I'm going listen, I'm peeking through in them like thirties. And I don't know how I felt about it. You know, last year I kept saying, I can't believe that I'm entering the age.

And when I met my mother, because my mother had me when she was thirty five, and it was an understanding of thinking, like you know, you meet your parents, you have your parents, and you think they're so grown they know everything, and it's like, Okay, this is who she was, or these are the things that she was facing, this is how her brain was making up to be. Because twenty five year old Dawn. I had no clue the thirty six. I don't know where I I thought

I would be at thirty six. Hell, I don't even know if I imagine what the age of thirty six would be. What do we feel like? But I'm grateful and I make sure I say that a lot, because they say gratitude is everything. The more things that you're grateful for, the more things you have to be grateful for. And I'm grateful for time. I'm grateful for this damn growth because it's very uncomfortable. But I'm stepping into a knowing of Dawn. I'm stepping up the point of versie.

I didn't get a point of peace with Dawn, and it's kind of cool. I feel things more passionately. I see myself really honoring my vulnerability, and what I mean by honoring that, showing up, allowing myself to be seen, and giving myself permission to show out. I was at yoga with Walt good l A and during your meditation as Gentleman's Soul, he let it. I broke down in tears because he played a track from his album I actually,

I probably need to get him on the podcast. It was entitled Rise and Trying, and immediately I thought of Vitamin D and I thought about the importance of taking up space. I thought about the protence of understanding that you're worthy, the importance of giving yourself permission to grow. Oftentimes, I think we put so much pressure on arriving and showing up as whatever the end product is, but we bypass the beauty and the part of the growth that

got us to that point. To understand why the arrival is so important, To understand that your location is not your destination, to to understand that there's always more than where you are right now, but the gift is in the now so that you can't see more. But I realized that I have more younger years behind me then in front of me, and that's okay. I'm grateful for

where I am right now. I even think back and I said, like, oh, I wish I could have done things differently, But it's amazing when you have a piece or an understanding that the things are happening the way that they're supposed to happen, along with breaking down in

tears and meditation. I wrote down in tears, I just met this gentleman um at one of our friend's house and it was like a kip back, and you know, I'm talking about aspirations of you know what I'm doing SNL and I want to be on SNL and I'm studying improv at the ground links and I was just saying how it's developed me so much of myself and my growth of receiving, being in the moment and listening.

And I said, how I have another gentleman Christian who implored to say, hey, can you help me develop these characters because I'm determined. And I was talking to this guy at the kickback. He looked at me, he said, I can see it. I said what he said, I can see it? I said, you can see what I'm saying. He said yes, and I stopped. I did dawn linked back, cross my my hand over my wrist, turn my head to the side and looked at him. I was like,

you're serious. And then I went in for an embracing as I hugged and I just began to cry, and I told him, I said, thank you for seeing me, thank you for making room for me. And I'm wondering, like, are you making room for yourself? Are you making room for yourself to show up and show up? Because that's what I'm giving to Dawn as I'm riding to thirty six,

as I'm going to thirty six and beyond. I just want to make room for her, make room for her to show up as she is, make room for her to make mistakes, make room for her to grow, make room for her to exist, make room for her to just be. It's a beautiful thing to be. And in my being I can inspire. In my being and my vision, somebody can say they can see what I see, And because it's not right here tangibly in front of me,

that means that's the vision. And the vision is so grandiose that somebody outside of my body know me less than twenty four hours, probably been in my presence, maybe two I can say I can see what you see. My God. It puts a different level of excitement of the present and why I'm so grateful for everything to lead up to where it is right now, And that's why I say gratitude is everything. The more grateful you are, the more things you have to be grateful for. So

I'm wondering what thirties said, it's about the brain. I just want to show up, and I'm excited for this level of patients and making room to receive people. I've realized that previous dawn we'll get a bit annoyed and upset if I felt like someone didn't show up the way I expected them to show up, or what I put the pressures on them to show up, rather than just making room for them to show up as they are and then deciding as to whether or not I would like to sign up for. It becomes more clear

that way. I think it becomes more peaceful that way, because rather than trying to change who you are, why don't give yourself permission to be who you are so I can see who you are because we're all asking to be seen. It's the same dawing that was being seen that broke down in tears when the guy said

I can see what you see. I I really learned that, And you know, it's kind of frustrating because we have our our idea of how people should be, how they should approach us, how they should communicate with us, how they should deal with us. But I want you to try something, give them space to be. That's what I'm doing for me, and I implore you to do that for yourself, and I hope that in return, somebody does that for you so that you can move freely, so

that you can breathe. And if we rock and study, then that means that we're in the vibration, and that means that it can work. But I'm not trying to force anything that doesn't work. I don't want to put any puzzles where it don't fit. I want to have the understanding that if I have to make myself back around to it, I will. Another thing about thirty six,

I'm so excited. I'm so grateful. I'm so proud of you, don I'm so proud of what you're doing with your fitness and how you decide to show up for yourself. I'm a do annoy right now with myself, though, I will say that, but I'm gonna give grace because I've been creeping, because I've been eating. But I do understand it's balanced and enjoying life. But I've been creeping. I don't know what. Why is it that when we're almost at the finished line that we almost quit or sometimes

get in our way with things? I'm not sure, but I guess if you fall down, you get up. Fall on seven, get up. Eight ain't too late to be great because you can't fail if you don't quit. So I'm doing really well. I've never seen this, never before. It's an adult on the scale. I'll give an update and lets you know why I started and what I am soon. But I'm almost there because it's almost April nineteen, and that's the final way in What else do I want to share about this birthday coming up? Um? I'm

welcoming the notion of how powerful manifestation is. I'm manifesting, and I noticed how the waters around me are, say so chaonic. But like I said before, my focus is just to keep my head above water. And it's been great. I'm meeting a different realm with people. Hell, I'm meeting myself in different ways and it's great, and I'm excited for what's next to it. We're gonna do with vitamin DVA throw one day. It should be cool. I'm excited

to share more things with you. It should be cool, but um, I'm more excited to discover some more of me, you know. Yeah, so that's what's going on. Dawn's about to be thirty six. Ain't that some ship? I know? But we are out here. Leading up to this point has been very entrying, but it's very beautiful, and I hope you give yourself space to be beautiful too, and celebrate your moments and being president in your moment, and give yourself space to relish in your moment, to exist

in your moment, and to be in your moment. You feel me, Yeah, that's gonna be thirty six. We're still going for a bun next, exceedingly and beyond, and we're making wrong that's what we're doing. All right. Let me jump in this vitor box and see what we got. Shake shack, shirt, shake, shake, shake, shake your bread. Alright, I'm opening it up. Okay, okay. What is this a challenge? I guess so when you think of a challenge, you always think of at obstacle of something that's hard to

get in your way, something that's meant to stop you. Right, But let's adjust if you want to look at the challenge, is something that you have to conquer, not something that's here to stop you, something that's actually to pull you to say you gotta get over because the challenge is only something that's gonna make you stronger. It gives you a different perspective, It gives you a different way to view something because it's challenging you to see it in

a different way. So now it becomes that you gotta adjust your game and you to move with it because now it's time to strategize. And it kind of reminds me or it it aligns with the fact of the idea of why you should never get too comfortable because challenges will always come your way and you gotta stay ready. You stay ready by staying alert. You stay alert by stayling your toes, You stay alert by keeping your eyes open.

So keeping your ears open, you stay alert, and you stay ready for the challenge by being present and therefore realized. And that's what the gift lies. So I challenge you to be great. That's what I want to challenge you with. Do it so that you gotta conquer it, so there's no other option for you to be great, And even like, hey, don but what does it mean to be great? Well, they say, if you want to be great, you have to do things that great people do well. Don What

are things that great people do well? Great people do things that every day people don't do. So that's why I gotta ask you, do you want to be great? Because greatness resides and each and every one of us. I see it in me? Do you see in you? All right, let's get to some housekeeping. I want to implore you guys, if you'd like to be a guest on the show, or perhaps you have an idea, or you would like to be interviewed, go ahead and email
