Episode description

I may not know the scripture like the back of my hand, but I know who God is in my life. And I used to equate the two. In fact, I would feel as though I wasn't worthy to say certain things or speak upon things because I didn't know verbatim.

But what I realize when we talk about faith, faith is simply confidence. And what is confidence? Simply knowing. Knowing who you are, whose you are, where you are, and where you want to go. And a reminder of who God is in your life. And recognizing that I have survived, and so have you, 100% of the worst days of your life. So I don't know what it is that you're going through, but you got to remember that you got through it before. You'll get through it again.

It's the same God back then as the same God right now. It makes me think of the track with Kirk Franklin, "He's Able." He says, "He's able. I know that He can do it. He said He'd helped me through it. You just got to “hold on, my brother your change is going to come. Be strong my sister for your work is not done. Just keep on believing and hold on tight. He's able to give you joy in the morning light." Every day the sun sets only to rise again in the morning. Remember, joy comes in the morning because “He's able.”
