Episode description

Alex and Karen chat with musician and composer turned game audio professional Jamie Lee about transitioning from her childhood in South Korea to her teen and adult life in Vancouver. They dive into the cultural and financial challenges Jamie faced and how her determination and curious spirit has led her through her journey to become a musician and, more recently, a sound designer for the video game development company A Shell in the Pit. They also explore the Korean translation of the word creativity, and how language and cultural perception changes our understanding of ourselves and the word around us.
