How emotionally mature we are will determine how we handle conflict. In this talk Dennis considers how we can deal with our conflicts as emotionally healthy sons and daughters who have 'come of age'.
What do we need to become 'one flesh'? How do we experience and demonstrate the communion of the Trinity in our marriage? Dennis discusses our need for a framework of love and obligation, the need for the power of the cross to engage with our natural self-centeredness and heal our brokenness, and the need to receive help from the Holy Spirit.

Kev takes a look at the well-known parable, the Prodigal Son. Kev leads us to see how when we return to God, regardless of our circumstances or what we have done, our Father welcomes us. There is total forgiveness from Him, and he He finds us 'good enough' to be treated as His son or daughter.
In the relaunch of our popular Jesus Stories series, Mark brings us a fresh insight into Jesus' first parable of the Sower. We usually view this parable through the lens of salvation, but Mark presses us to reconsider Jesus' message in light of words that God is speaking to us at this present moment, and how receptive we are to these.
Stewardship is being given the responsibility to manage and protect something that belongs to someone else. In this year when we 'come of age', Chris Lane takes us through how the church gathers and stewards its money, and asks us, what is our privilege and responsibility is in this area of financial stewardship?
If God is saying we are to 'come of age' this year, how does that affect our understanding and practice of one of the church's foundations - prayer?
This Sunday we say thank you to all you who volunteer to make Church 'happen'.
As we move into 2017, Senior Pastor Chris Lane talks about what he believes God is saying to us this year: that we as a church community are 'coming of age'. This is a time where we are maturing from a child into an adult, impacting our collective identity, the way we respond to others and the kind of responsibility that Jesus gives us.
Dennis encourages us at the start of 2017 that whatever dreams, words, aspirations and goals that we have that we have received from God, we should get ready! As the scripture says, no eye has seen, no ear has heard or entered into the heart of man what God is preparing to do with us in 2017. The plans God has for us are bigger than we think and better than we think.
In the concluding of our “Visitors” series, Chris Lane celebrates the fact that while visitors come and go, God remains with us.
Kev Nash takes a fresh look at the Christmas story and considers what impact an angelic visitation had on the surrounding community. The nearby agricultural industry received a once-in-a-lifetime visitation that resulted in worship to God, but also made the Good News of Jesus' birth spread like wildfire.
As we begin our 2016 Christmas talk series, Chris Lane considers the need to be ready for anything at Christmas!
As we near the end of 2016, Chris culminates our current series. Watch this space next year for The Jesus Stories to be revisited.
Mark takes the well-known story of Jesus turning water into wine at his friend's wedding party, and turns it on its head. Jesus doesn't appear to be too interested in making a name for himself, but rather, making his friend look good because he loved him. A thought provoking look at this first miracle, Mark challenges us to think about whether we really believe that Jesus cares about every area of our lives?

Chris Lane begins a brand new series this autumn where we focus on the gospels. Stories told about Jesus, of Him and by Him - it's going to be a packed series! Chris starts at the beginning of Luke's gospel and addresses how the evangelist established Jesus as Lord over evil.
In this talk Dennis leads us to give thanks for all that God has done by giving us a new building! He looks at how King David gave thanks to God, recognising His sovereignty in every area of his life. He confesses the realisation that it all comes from God, "we have given only that which comes from His hand."
After 30 months of running our Growing Family Campaign, we are in full celebration mode this weekend as we officially open our new building! We are delighted to welcome National Directors of VCUKI John & Debby Wright as our special guest speakers to celebrate with us and commemorate this special occasion.
Chris Lane talks about the challenges and rewards of leadership, and explains how the annual Global Leadership Summit has helped many leaders, with some personal examples. You can watch the two videos Chris refers to on YouTube (Joseph Grenny's 'Crucial Conversations' and Tim Keller's 'Leading People to the Prodigal God').
We've heard it said that 'failure is not an option'. In a world that finds it easy to criticise and blame, this talk proposes that rather than resent people for their weaknesses or mistakes, we should accept them as a necessity to learn from, in order to succeed in the future.
Hear from the Vineyard team that travelled to India last month to serve at Bethesda Orphanages. These ordinary people talk about their experiences as they stepped out in faith. Aware of their own limitations, they describe how they put their trust in God to provide, and the healings, miracles & transformation they saw as a result. Not a podcast to be missed!
In this talk Chris Lane considers what success looks like in the Kingdom of God, and encourages us to be alert, available & faithful.
