Benn is a 3 time olympian in the sport of Track and Field as a Discus thrower and is the Australian National record holder. He’s the first ever indigenous athlete to win a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and is currently living in Sweden working as the High Performance Director at one of Stockholm's Track and Field club, Hammirby Friidrot.
I wanted to bring him onto the podcast, because his Life of impact filters from a few different perspectives, and I’m empowered by his Pride as an Olympian and his passion to give back to his communities that have supported him along his journey.
