Episode description

In this episode, Kasra Dash and James Dooley break down a core topic in modern performance marketing: exclusive lead generation. They explain why many businesses struggle with shared lead providers and how this common setup often leads to a race to the bottom in pricing, low-quality sales conversations, and inconsistent close rates.

James Dash outlines the fundamental difference between shared and exclusive leads, emphasizing how real-time, single-recipient leads give businesses a significantly higher chance of closing clients at profitable margins. Kasra Dash adds real-world context with a recent client case, demonstrating how switching from shared leads to exclusive sourcing dramatically improved lead quality and sales team efficiency.

If your business is dealing with low conversion rates, saturated lead pipelines, or multiple providers delivering the same prospects to your competitors, this short but powerful episode explains why exclusive leads may be the solution.

Kasra Dash: So today I'm joined with James, and a big word at the minute is exclusive lead generation. That’s what a lot of businesses want, and that’s what a lot of businesses think will be useful to help scale their business. For anyone that doesn’t know what exclusive lead generation is or what it means, what is it, James? James Dooley: So exclusive leads are where you send the leads through to one company. It’s the opposite of sharing leads. With shared leads, they go out to four or five different contractors or companies. Normally, it becomes a race to the bottom on price — you’ve got to be very cheap to win the sale. But with exclusive leads, you’re the only one receiving that inquiry, which means you can price where you want to be. In my opinion, real-time exclusive leads are the best form of lead generation you can have. Kasra Dash: Yeah. The reason we’re doing this video is we recently had a client who was using shared lead generation. They were getting loads of leads, and their sales team was phoning all of them… but like you said, it becomes a race to the bottom. It’s shared against you and maybe five or six of your competitors. I also feel like the conversion rate from lead to customer is a lot lower than with exclusive leads. So, if you guys are having any of these issues — maybe you’re paying two or three different lead generation companies — head over to FatRank.com where we provide exclusive lead generation. Fill in the form and the team will get back in touch with you. Thanks for watching.
