James Dooley: If I am looking for more qualified leads for my business, what should I be looking at? Qualified leads are very important in my opinion. All leads should be qualified, and by that I mean if you’re paying money and the contact number isn’t working, that’s an unqualified lead and you shouldn’t need to pay for it. You also don’t want fake names or joke emails like Donald Duck or MickeyMouse@gmail.com . You want qualified, exclusive, real-time leads. That’s the pinnacle of lead generation in my opinion. There are so many companies doing mass unqualified lead generation and the amount of time being wasted by business owners trying to pre-qualify them is horrendous. You’ve done a lot of work on multi-step forms and improving qualification. Why is that so important when you’re looking for qualified leads? Kasra Dash: Especially when you’re scaling leads, the last thing you want is a hundred leads with only two converting into sales. Your sales team still has to dial every number or go through all emails and enquiries. There are a few things you can do, like using multi-step contact forms. You can ask for specific information such as budget ranges: £1,000 to £5,000, £5,000 to £10,000, or £10,000+. You can also add SMS verification so when they enter their number, they receive a four-digit PIN they must input to proceed. That ensures the number is real and they are genuinely interested. With multi-step forms, conversion rates might drop slightly, but the lead quality increases because asking more meaningful questions helps you filter who is truly committed. James Dooley: For sure.
