Welcome to to Teas and a Pod. I am Cambra Judge and today filling in for Teddy is Emily Simpson. This is the first time we've actually done the pod together.

We saw each other in Big Bear. We did did We had fun, We did, got dinner reservations for New Year's Eve.

You were at Oh yeah, did you go back?

How was I did? Our friends Jackie and Kellen came out. They have a house and Big Bear. So we went to dinner and they thought we were just going to go back to the house, our house and play pool and then remember Rebecca, the famous TikToker that we saw.

Yeah, I did again.

Well, she texts me and so I'm like, well, if you want to come over afterwards. So we end up having a house party. Then another couple that I know from a long time ago, they're like, hey, are you a bigger I'm like, yeah, what are you doing? Time? Come on over. Then Eddie's like, hey, you know Stephanie that owns the energy drink company. I'm like, yeah, she's here too with her boyfriend. Can she come over? I'm like, So we had like a little house party going on.

That's fun. Now I'm bummed we left on the thirtieth.

I know when you left it started snowing. It wasn't anything like over the top. But we left last night, came home and it is dumping snow today.

Oh yeah, we'll see. Now it's good for skiing. When we were there, it wasn't great for skiing.

No, and my kid puked on the way down the mountain.

So I would just like to say I had an eight year old throw up pancakes all over me in the backseat.

So that says he gets carsick. I didn't know he got carsick.

I know that.

Well, so Ava gets carsick and she came up this last time. I bought her these glasses off of Amazon. I went to the pharmacist at CBS. I'm like, do you have anything that's not going to make her drowsy? Because I was originally supposed to drive her up and then something happened and her mom had her.

For the day.

But anyways, so they're like, get those glasses. They're like these little glasses and they have like you can't you don't have peripheral vision. They're kind of like horse glasses. Oh so they just keep you. They're like blinders looking straight ahead. But it's weird. But they have water inside of them. It's very weird. I don't know how they work, but they work well.

Anything that prevents pancakes and apple juice from getting regurgitated all over my lap is great.

So what did you end up doing for New Year's Eve?

We just went to this party like in our neighborhood. But it was like a family friendly party, you know, like kids and yea apples, but it was gone for those of you.

Who don't know. Teddy went in and had surgery on her melanoma. It was a rather large surgery. I now have nicknamed her Zoro because she looks like she has as on her back. But I think it's super cute and she wanted to be here, but she's at the doctor's right now. But we are thinking about you, Teddy. We love you, we miss you. We're hoping this is the end of your cancer journey and you're gonna be on the up and up real soon. And I will see you on Friday. So I'm gonna go see you on Friday.

First of all, they declared him competent, which means they have to get the trial underway immediately because competency could be like that's an issue. Yeah, so prosecution is going to want to like move this along quickly because competency is something that you know, they could like reevaluate. But also just let's say he loses and he has to pay restitution or whatever, Like, how was he going to pay back all the money that he took? I mean, well, where is it going to come? It's not.

But is it possible that he can go to jail too? Right? Yeah?

So anyway, I just see that prosecution really pushing to have this done, like like go to trial immediately, so we'll see.

This Champagne up actually paid money to see that, right? I mean I don't see either one. Maybe Eddie in his younger days, but now like he rarely goes to the bar and he really drank, so it just wouldn't happen.

I know, Eddie's such a good guy, He's lame, just like Shane. They are lame together exactly.

So Mariso took off his shirt and wildly sprayed champagne while partying and aspen with Singer and Anita. Riso celebrated record breaking Cells with a dinner with his colleagues earlier in the night. Okay, here's my question.

I want to know when they moved in.

Did they upgrade because she was going to film, so they moved somewhere where they couldn't afford.

I don't know, but I don't know that I you know, obviously, you can file whatever you want and you go to court and you you know, doesn't mean it's all necessarily true. So I'm curious to see how this plays out. Maybe it could have been like there was water damage and they weren't fixing it, you know what I mean, Like, there's so many other things that go into things like this. All, how do you film an entire season with Shannon and you're checked out and then you're gonna come back with a whole new girlfriend.

Well, dude, I want to be in the scene for me and you and Eddie and Shane are having dinner and Alexis and Johnny Johnny. I'm calling Jhnny now walk in. No, you have to tell him Johnny, j Johnny J Could you imagine that?

Because first of all, Shane would freaking kill me. He doesn't want to have dinner with him, but.

That would Eddie doesn't want any drama, that's for sure. But I'm just like, I just lay in bed thinking of all these things that can possibly happen next season. I'm like, oh my god, I'm already have anxiety.

And I have anxiety too because I'm friends with Alexis. You're friends with Alexis. Yeah, And I don't know, Like, if she does film and she's on the show, we have to we have to bring her in.

But then Shannon's going to be there, and you're her birthday twin.

I know, I know I would have I mean, I would invite her to my birthday.

So there's that. Yeah, I know it's gonna be it's gonna be complicated for sure. Now I don't know if you know this, but I have gotten blamed in the press for hooking them up.

That doesn't even make sense the picture At first, of all, how long have they been dating?

All I know is at pravocn she was not dating him. I ran into Alexis at Pravo con with Andy. We had this full conversation, we made up, we moved on, We text a few times, and then the next thing I know, I see a story about them dating, and I'm like, I didn't bleed it for a second. I thought it was one of those situations where they ran into each other at the same place, they took a picture in the press runs with it. Yeah, and I think that's how it started.

I thought the same thing. I saw the picture a quiet woman, and then everybody was talking about how they were dating, and I thought it was so stupid, because I was like, just because two people end up at the same spot in Orange County and they're sitting next to each other at a table with a bunch of people, yes, does that mean they're dating?

No?

Then I went to Kathy Hilton's Christmas party, Oh, you were with Alexis and Alexis was there and we hung out and then we ended up coming back to Orange County together. I rode with her back to Orange County and I made a statement of like, oh, that's so dumb that people think you're dating just because you're in a picture together. And she was like, but we are, and I was like, oh, oh shit, Oh.

Yeah, okay. Well, I was really defending her and saying that they weren't dating, because I honestly, in my mind, I thought there's no way. There's no way, right. And then she ended up texting me and saying, can you talk. I have something I want to tell you. And this was probably a month after the picture surfaced, you know, And so she told me. She's like, yeah, you know, and I don't want to tell her story, but she's basically gave me the rundown and said they were dating.

But let me tell you this exact same scam almost hoppened to my father in law and he was on the phone with them and he was giving them banking information. And Shane went over to their house and walked in. And Shane, Shane is super savvy about things like this. He tells me all the time, don't click on that, hang.

Up on them, don't do this.

So he walked in and his dad was like giving his bank account information, and Shane was like, what are you doing?

Who you're talking to?

And he grabbed a phone out of his dad's hand and he was like, this is a scam and he.

Hung up on him.

And I'm telling you though, Shane told me the whole scenario of how they do it, and it is very very intricate, very com tech.

Yeah, very high tech.

And I don't blame Andy for falling for something like that because they've become so advanced in this that, yeah, you just you're just like, you know, they call from a number it says Chase Bank or whatever.

And you believe it us and they ask you the questions. They know that his is Yeah, that's just crazy. So the people wired out of two accounts, they had a lot of money in it. I don't know what happens in the situation. Is it his money ensured protected? Did he get it back? I don't know, because I did they catch the people.

Oh, they'll never catch them because there, you know, there's somewhere overseas obviously probably or I don't know.

Or it's Jen Shall. Isn't that the kind of stuff she does? Oh my god, We're gonna get to her in a little bit. But I thought it was pretty interesting. Eddie reposted it on his Instagram, which he really does stuff like that because he is so into that. Like, even if we drive through the toll road. Know how they take your picture. Yeah, he puts his hands in his face or puts his shade down every single time does And I'm.

Like, who do you think really?

I mean, is he who wanted? Is there a warrant? That's what I ask I'm like, see this cell phone right here? Everything you do in say is being yeah, you know, you know, he's.

Like, he's like face timing, but then he like covered his face and he goes through the toll.

She goes official with her new boyfriend Incognito, and it's such a perfect name for him because his face is not shown in this picture and hints at a twenty twenty four wedding date. I'm like, oh, okay, okay, if you and Eddie got divorced, would you move on quickly or are you just done with men period?

I think that at my age, i'd be done with men. Yeah me so funny story like, And we've been in Big Bear for the past couple of weeks and I get up really early and I get me sometimes four thirty, sometimes five, and I like, that's like my alone time. I have my coffee, I read my emails, go through my instac.

He's like, are you serious right now? I go, oh, I'm dead serious. Yeah, go away, I go, this is it. I'm with you

Yeah, I got it one hundred percent. So you're saying, if you and Eddie for some reason didn't work out, it's not like you'd be on.

The rebound to get married again, like you're just done. No, No, I wouldn't know that. I wouldn't say it was done. But you know now my age, like it just things are just different, like being with Ava or being with my kids and just hanging out. I mean, I'm sure I would get lonely and then it would take time. I was trying to fill in the gaps because I feel like after or the finale, there's still a lot of questions that I have.

I don't Oh my god, there's so many. I'm still we're gonna get to it, but I feel like I'm gonna have the unpopular opinion. But that's just me, okay.

I felt like she was holding back, but well we'll get to that. If I'm here to report on what I have been.

Doing research on for days. I mean, our text chain has been crazy about Salt Lake City.

Because I wanted to know this exact information, because I feel like we don't know enough. I just said, I need to know how long you worked for jen Shop and she said about three to four months, which that gave me a little bit more insight going on.

It wasn't like she was like working for her for years or anything like that.

Well, then if she only worked her for her for three to four months, then she pretty much knew she was running a criminal enterprise quickly.

Yeah, and then just so.

Before I don't know, I mean, these are all things that we need to get into. I think, all right, let's just let's break down the episode and then we'll really get into the Monica of it all, because it starts off where Whitney tries to make things right with Heather the night before, but Heather wasn't ready to talk. Monica said she was looking for Heather, and Lisa said

I mean that then was a little fishy to me, almost as fishy as Whitney waking up with the full face to all things to make she has a blanket over her head. And then you know, Monica that this is why people really like mine. She's just like real. She gets up, no makeup on, gets out of bed, no, and then Whitney uncovers herself.

I mean even it's so like and that wasn't makeup from the night before, because I know very familiar and what makeup from the night before looks like. But also this is the part that's even more annoying. It's not only that she had full face to make up, but she wanted us to believe that it was fresh in the morning, because then she even put her shades on.

She's like, oh, it's.

So bright hair.

But I think I think she put her shades on to cover up that she had a full facebook.

It's the things like you could fall asleep with your makeup on, and some girls are really good about keeping on, but you can. I not keep lip gloss on. No, I sleep in my makeup all the time I make up, but I waked up, but I don't wake up with like lipgloss on.

No, you can't.

You move around and gets no, she marks and full face bronzer.

It's good.

I'll give her that.

But I don't even care about any of this. How Whitney tells Heather that she felt exploited about what was written in Heather's book.

I didn't even like that argument, because clearly she knew what was in the book.

They'd had multiple conversations. She's like, I told you what was in it.

I read it to you.

She goes, yeah, but I didn't read it. I'm like, girl, that did not help you know.

And even when Heather said, you told me what word you didn't want in there and I removed it, I like, how how you can't retroactively get mad?

Well, Heather, Heather knew too. Heather's like, I'm not getting into this fight, and she's like, yeah, I'm the crazy one. She rolls her eyes because it forever. Uh huh, get.

I have got business to get to. I got real ship that's coming.

That had a makeup for drawing out that black eye for a whole season last year by dropping this bomb on everyone. Okay, So then one after one hour after they all go shopping and then Heather gets the call and you hear her say, are you kidding me?

Shut up? I'm trembling.

I cannot believe it is her? How can she do this to us?

And then you see the camera guy. His camera's on the ground but it's on, and he runs and he picks it up. The producer tells a key knocks on the door and she's like, go in, go in, and Heather's like, no.

Not now, no, no, with open fingers, no no.

And I'm like, Heather, no, you can't do this if you're I mean, clearly, Emily, you know this, Teddy, you know this if you're in your room and you have a mic on. Yeah, everybody in audio there can hear you. Right.

So okay, can I ask was the phone call like a lawyer?

Because they bleep it out. I don't know what do you think, Teddy?

Do you think it was? Because she obviously got information from Tanisha, but then she went I.

I think it was a friend from Instagram that gave her this information.

There were two separate things.

I think we have to like compartmentalize the Monica of it all, because there's one side where I see what Monica is doing is that I'm like, listen, this was good television. All the women do it, like the whole reality voluntist reveal.

Of it all. That's one thing.

The part that I don't particularly like in regards to Monica's behavior is the having multiple names and going into the beauty lab and owing money. Like if Heather was really upset about that and that was what she was leading with, I would have been like, listen, I'd be upset too.

That is weird.

Or Meredith being upset that Monica lines that I've never been here before.

But she's still the clutch or not.

Is that just an alleged I don't think so. I don't. There's no clarity on that. And there's also no clarity on did Monica was Monica behind the DMS to Meredith?

Was that from the Vante's account or was that from a different account.

That's another thing. There's no clarity on what account did that come.

Yeah, because they didn't they didn't clarify that, and I was confused about that I.

Don't know where Lisa Barlow's ritting went. I don't know any of those things.

I'm not saying any of those things are Monica.

I think what is bizarre is to not pay your bills and change your name and then expect not to get caught when you're gonna be with these women.

But let me ask a question. When you go get services done, like obviously she wasn't somebody like you know a lot of times we'll get stuff done for free. Right, Yeah, she wasn't in the public eye, she's not getting it for free. That's my question. Why didn't she when you go to the front desk, she must have just bailed.

It's you know, like dine and dash. She must boattox and bail.

Maybe she said my credit cards on file on the credit card didn't work. I mean, I don't know.

Why three different names you have the same face. Girl, there's the same people working there. They're gonna know.

Well, it's the same way that she like put on a scarf and she's like I did drive by so nobody would know it was me.

I think I honestly think that she was just joking.

No, then there's picture, I mean, no, no, I think there's real evidence outut there of her doing the drive by.

Yeah, I think, And what the real point? What was the point of her drive bys? And I gotta believe that this was like over a year ago when jen was not in jail, right, yes, no, because she wasn't driving by the prison. Yeah, that's what I'm like.

Okay, I don't know if you guys talked about this on headlines, but the fact that Jen Shaw's Instagram can be activated and posted on while she was in prison.

Like, well, her assistant is the one doing it, But how did you, Emily? Do you get it? Yeah, that's why I'm asking you. I'm do you know? Do you get like a phone call? Like I got to call my assistant? And I find it hard to believe that he's still her assistant because he's obviously not getting paid, so now he's just a shady friend that wants to get information.

On But also, if you are in prison and you only have five I don't know how long you have, but let's say you only have five minutes of a phone call.

A day, are you gonna be waste on that?

Oh my god, did you notice when Shoppi Monica gave her green credit card and then it declined And she's like, oh, you know what, I forgot to call from the credit card say I was going to be out of the country, and then when they redid it, it was a white credit card.

I didn't notice that it was hard is different? But I did reckon not like have was it Productions? I was going to say, haven't you noticed production? I was trying to see if that was the same credit card the color of the one that we used to get from production because it was a funny color we always put it.

But Monica's had an Instagram live that Angie paid her back right away, and Heather still hasn't paid her, and she could take it out of the two thousand dollars. She owes her, and I'm like, wait, really, your guys, are you are in a lawsuit over two thousand dollars.

That's not even that's not even worth filing something.

Honestly, No, it's gonna cost you more in legal fees well to go to small claims court over something like that.

At the end of the day, they were spending way too much on freaking candles or perfumes or whatever they were doing. I was like, come on, but then you know it's they head down to the uh before dinner for the beach, right, is that before dinner? Yeah?

Before shopping. Yeah, that's why they did for dinner. They did so many eight hours prior four hours prior four hour.

It's like, but this is what I wanted to say, Listen, you guys prop To me, it looked like it was very staged.

It was like they were all like and but none of them thought ahead that.

We're going to be on a windy beach and our extensions are all going to be blown around and.

We should have prepared. I've never seen more like listen more. There was a lot of trackage going on. How many tracks. I don't know, but that's tracking.

There was a lot of tracking, and they were like super high tracks.

I was like, damn, man.

Uncomfortable shown our extensions, but like in that moment, like you could see all of them, they're like trying to be emotional and.

Like our trust has been taken away. And then they're all like shoot, the wind's blowing. They're trying to cover themselves. Like I'm like, oh, that's why I won't buy a convertible lever again. Right, It's just really bad for the hair extensions. It really is.

You need to get yourself, like the scarf like Meredith does like the scarf.

Are you don't about the game with the dolls? Yes, that's how the dolls made zero sense to me, Like just playing I don't I don't get the dolls. We already did the dolls already, But I let you call her out. Why are we playing a game to call her out if we already Normally the games are when you have nothing to do or nothing to fight about it, and then you don't you think that Heather did a really good job as I got it. I gotta tell you guys something she was her acting was off the charts.

She did an amazing job facilitating the entire story from beginning.

To I'm gonna need that energy this season, Emily, what what Heather gay energy or what you guys have to tell you something about John Johnson. I just I'm going to need that from you this year. I can't do it.

Here's where I would say I would lose it if I were them.

If on Reality Vontie there was current leaked information from things happening throughout that season about all of these women and it was being put.

Out there, I would get it. I would get where these were. Yes, And I actually asked somebody if that was the case. Did that happen and they said no.

So I think the thing that upsets them the most is when you think about someone like Monica, it doesn't seem to me that she has any boundaries, And that's scary to film with you're a cast member and you're on a cast.

Yes, when you're on a cast with someone who has nothing to lose and they have no boundaries, no ethical or moral boundaries. That's when it becomes very scary as a cast member, and you don't want to be on a cast with someone like that. So I think that's why the other women are so upset with her.
