In this episode we briefly explore how trauma and fear effect our nervous systems. Knowing what is happening in our bodies and brains, not just our thoughts, is one of the keys to beginning to understand how we interpret and react to the outside world, including things that frighten or threaten us. This knowledge can help dispel common misconceptions and help those with trauma, and, let's face it, almost everyone has some kind of trauma, begin to understand their reaction and how to heal.
