Episode description

Today I briefly interview Chris Knerl. We will dive into both his athletic and professional background, talk about some training trends and tips for young coaches and athletic trainers.

Chris Knerl is the performance manager at Howard Head Sports Medicine. Chris is a certified athletic trainer, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and exercise physiologist with a bachelor of science degree from the University of Nebraska in education and human sciences and a master of science degree from the University of West Florida in exercise science. Prior to joining the Howard Head team, Chris spent 2 years working in New York building and managing a sports performance academy for United Health Services. Before moving to New York, Chris worked for United  States Special Operations Command for 8 years where he helped developed and implemented a human performance program that provided physical training and rehabilitation services for some of the world’s most elite military forces.

We look forward to talking to Chris again in the future as part of a panel and to discuss some specific topics in greater detail.

** Please excuse editing errors. There is one question to which the answer is cut off and the very last question got cut out as well. We are still learning!
