If there is one thing I have learned from plant medicines & psychedelics, it’s that what they allow us to realize & see is merely what is already possible within our lives &, in my experience, the true work begins once we’re back in our normal state of consciousness. All too often we hear stories of individuals mistaking these medicines as “necessary” to enter these states when, in reality, these states are already living within us, however, sometimes we forget or get stuck in a limiting program/pattern that can give the illusion that these states are not possible without them. Todays guest on the show is a man who has been able to successfully connect with these plants & substances as both teachers & medicines to be able to foster a higher quality life for himself & truly buy the ticket & take the ride into making his life as a whole a psychedelic experience. From following his heart into a 17 year long career as a firefighter to leaving that career early to follow his heart into the next chapter of his life, which has been the process of becoming the program director of Foundation training, he is a true testament to what can happen when we allow psychedelics to be the reminder of how much power we hold within us & take action on that realization. This episode is sure to inspire any & all of you who have had glimpses behind the veil on psychedelics into the magical potential your experience of life holds within it & my intention is for this episode to show each of you that while these medicines can help you experience this, it is up to you to make the choices & decisions necessary to integrate these experiences into your day to day life to ensure you are able to have a relationship with these medicines & teachers that is co creative & co communicative in nature.
