It's time to enter the universe of Earth-38, more commonly referred to as The Arrowverse. Amazingly we're haven't really covered much of this in Caravan Of Garbage and the Supergirl 2015 series seems a good a place as any. This version again sees the character of Kara Zor-El arrive from Krypton a little late to encounter a fully grown Superman and finds herself directionless despite having all the powers all of the time. Blending a bit of The Flash/Arrow with the likes of Alley McBeal/The Devil ...

Welcome back everyone to a new episode of The Weekly Planet! This week we review two hot propeties that in a way have nothing in common, Backrooms and also Spider-Noir. It's absolutely bizarre that the first live action adaptation of Starship Troopers from director Paul Verhoeven bombed as badly as it did. Not only that but critics also seemed to have completely missed the not very subtle social commetary in relation to the rise of facism in western society. Now, for the most part I hope, people seem to know better and this movie is recognised for both its satirical nature and incredible action sequences. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review SUBSCR...

Thanks for listening! New bonus Booque Clubbe podcast ep and video for Spider-Man: Life Story! Available to watch...
Stallone, always on the hunt for the next action blockbuster, took a shot at sci-fi in 1993 with the release of Demolition Man. Set in the future of 1996 and then the future of 2032 it pits him against Wesley Snipes' Simon Phoenix having the absolute time of his life. And that's the whole movie real, just an absolute blast from the get go with somewhat accurate depictions of the future mixed in with absolute insanity like the three sea shells situation. Thanks for coming along with us on our 199...

Over the next four weeks we're taking a trip through some classic 1990's science fiction films. An interesting era which still encorporated old school film making techniques like model work, stop motion and rear projection plus early computer generated imagery. This week it's the action classic Total Recall starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone from director Paul Verhoeven not to be confused with the 2012 reboot or the book its based on that has a completely different name and premise....

The only logical solution to wrap up our look at the original X-Men trilogy is a updated re-release of our Caravan Of Garbage review from 2019. Sure Bryan Singer is now gone (for now) but luckily Brett "The Rat" Ratner has stepped in to take his place to conclude the stories of Wolverine, Gene Grey, Professor X, Magnet, Storm, Cyclops and many more characters that would continue to never die and re-appear in future prequels and sequels. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review SUBSCRIBE...
By 2003 superhero movies were well back in vogue. Sam Raimi's Spider-Man from 2002 had become a massive hit, a serious Batman reboot was in the works and of course we got the return of Bryan Singer's (yuck) X-Men franchise with X2: X-Men United. All your favourites are back! Storm, Cyclops, Ice Boy, Rogue, Magnet, Wheels, Gene Grey, all in support of whatever Hugh Jackman's Wolverine wants to do. James and Maso delve into the 2000 X-Men film, analyzing its pivotal role in revitalizing the superhero genre despite its often-overlooked predecessor, Blade. They explore the movie's early production, its departure from specific comic storylines, and the significant behind-the-scenes controversies surrounding director Bryan Singer's conduct. The hosts also discuss the iconic casting, actors' perspectives on superhero roles, the film's visual effects, and even Michael Jackson's surprising bid for a role, offering a comprehensive look at what made this movie both groundbreaking and problematic.

Plus we talk the news of the week which involves a new video game adaptation from Christopher McQuarrie and Michael B Jordan, the cancellation of Gen V, trailers for Clayface, the first DCU horror movie, Coyote vs ACME, Spider-Noir, Coyote vs. ACME, big trouble for that dude who leaked the Avatar: The Last Airben...
All good things must come to an end, like for example our War of the Worlds retrospective. But at lease we're going out on the lowest of the lows, the 2025 but filmed in 2020 Ice Cube "screenlife" adaptation. Considered by many to be one of the worst movies ever made with such a bizarre and terrible execution it's kind of hard to stay focused on one thing at a time when talking about it. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review! SUBSCRIBE HERE ►► http://goo.gl/pQ39jN Help support the sh...

Aliens continue to be real on our journey through three very distinct War of the Worlds adaptations. This week it's the second collaboration between Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise after Minority Report, War of the Worlds 2005. Interesting premise and time, post 9/11, Tom Cruise in his weirdest (publicially) era and a director who'd made two exceptional extra terrestrial propeties prior to this. This should be fantastic! And yet...Anyhow thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garbage review SUBSCRIB...
The Boys are back in town. For their fifth and final season, we talk the first two episodes. Plus we review The Drama, the somewhat controversial A24 film starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. ALIENS ARE REAL. I mean, statistically the chances of there being life in an ever expanding universe is pretty much a lock. And to celebrate that and the return of Steven Spielberg to making an alien movie with Disclosure Day in 2026 we're going to take a look at three adaptations of the War of the Worlds, starting with the 1953 classic. An absolute astounding achievement in model work, design, alien monster suits, explosions and guys being stoic then running around for a bit. Thanks for watchin...

In our final entry in our "movies about video games that aren't based on video games" we take a look at the be all and end all entry defined by those very specific parametres, 2018's Ready Player One. In a future bogged down in nostelgia to the detriment of a crumbling society it's up to a group of plucky internet savy individuals to unlock the mystery of the Oasis, a Virtual Reality space where your wildest dreams can come true. If your wildiest dreams are like, walking around and Batman is the...
It’s a great week for remakes of things that we’re already beloved that are now back in a seemingly worse way. That’s right we’re taking a look at brand new trailers for Moana 2026 live action The Rock with hair and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. We also talk two very similar movies in Ready or Not 2 and They Will Kill You, a new voice cast announcement for Super Mario Galaxy, more Lord of the Rings movies, a billion dollar Disney/AI deal falls through plus a whole lot more. Thanks fo...
Stop what you're doing everyone. It's time to continue our look at videos about video games that aren't actually based on video games. And you might be wondering what the movie Serenity for 2019 has to do with video games? It seems like some kind of beach side noir murder mystery starring a cigarette smoking Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway. And yes that is true but there's also a deeper layer of story to this movie that has to be seen to be believed. Thanks for watching our Caravan Of Garb...

It's time for another look at a movie about and featuring video games but not actually based on a video game. This time it's 2009's Gamer starring Gerard Butler, Logan Lerman, Michael C Hall and directed by Crank duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Set in the far distant future of 2034 in a world where the game Slayers (an online third person shooter) uses real life death-row prisoners in a real life murder arena controlled by players safely at home. In many ways it's ahead of it's time and in ...
