Who's excited about the holidays? Like, is it one of your most favorite times of the year, not only because people are off, people get to spend time with family, people get to do so many other things. But also, if you're a business owner, it should be a great cash injection month or months for your business, especially

depending on what you do. So want to talk a little bit about some of the things that have been trending and things that happened last year, that we can look for them to continue to trend this year, when it comes to social media platforms, and our Black Friday holiday, whatever your your big deal is, for this the coming into the year, right? Whatever you are planning on doing for that cash injection, for your offers, for your products, whatever it is that you're planning on doing.

So let me read you a couple of stats here that I think are really important, and will help you just realize how important the holiday strategy really, really is. Okay, so in 2021 29% of people said that Facebook or Instagram, help them discover new products or services during the holiday season. That is 29% of people. That's pretty big. Right? I'm also in 2021. People said that they liked when they discovered products or gift options that they were not actively looking for on social

media platforms. And that was again 29%. So they liked it when they saw that right. So basically, all of you that are like I'm afraid of being salesy. 29% of people are on board with it, right? They're okay with it. So are you going to be mad? Like, if you like, upset one person when other people are enjoying this, and actually like finding and discovering new things on the platforms? For instance, let's take this shirt for a second. Is it not

beautiful? To go see this, and it's almost oops, it's almost all my brand colors. So we have the fuchsia, the purple. And this is not really exactly my brand color. But the rest of it is. And I think this is genius. So I was targeted with all of this, Andre, stuff in this color. And I was like, wait a minute, this is pretty cool. Like, I'm on board for this because this is obviously we get some blame, right? You can see all the colors in the arm a little bit better. I feel like

Vanna White. Look at this. Are the ladies on the prices? Right? But like, look, it's Hyperion color. And they targeted me. And I saw it. Yes, it was a paid ad organic, but that's okay. But the thing is, is that I would have never noticed this had it not showed up in my feet. And I was like, dang, I have all everything that they had in my brain colors with so well. And it looks good with my dark wall behind here. Right? So again, I discovered this and I'm not mad about it. I bought it and I was

happy. Right? I guess not everything we buy online, makes us happy. But this made me happy and I loved it. Right. So when we get the opportunity to discover stuff we're not even looking for I was not looking for this. I had no intention of buying this. And I was like dang this. This is like sign or something right? Like, I'm totally gonna get this. Okay, moving on. People. 23% of people said they like it when products or services find me on Facebook or Instagram during the holiday

season. Pretty cool, right? 22% of people said this holiday they thought products are gifts that they first discovered on Facebook or Instagram throughout the year. But they hadn't bought them until the holiday. And then 20% of people say it's easier to complete my holiday shopping with personalized product and give suggestions recommendations I see on Facebook or Instagram. Okay, you are getting so much

permission here. So much permission to make the decision to put yourself out there put your products out there right so now we just get to get a strategy to go behind that and try to see if there's any more other sets. Oh, this is a really good stat on tick tock which I didn't know 81% of users use tick tock to discover new products or brands 81% Yeah. One into Gen Z Tik Tok users are likely to buy something while using tick tock. I've I've bought something on tick tock

before. Not ashamed to say. I just I did right. So let me give you a couple more sets I think that are really interesting again, just for moving forward with the holiday sales and everything that's going on. All right. 38 8% of people purchased when they saw suggestions or recommendations for family friends. So let's say somebody is on social media and they share something that they bought, or they tagged something in, and it's something that they see the 38% of people purchased.

So when we share, when other people share stuff, people are going to purchase it when they see 36% of people discovered new products or brands, when they saw sponsored posts or ads, I'm 27% Buy something other people posted to again, so if somebody else like promotes a product, or this is a great engagement strategy, like when you buy our product, make sure you're sharing on social media, we'll do an XYZ gift card, or

something like that. If you give us a shout out, so this is a great campaign strategy for when people buy your product, your service your offer, whatever it is. 25% This is going to be my favorite ones 25% of people bought when they found video content, discuss this when they discovered brands or products that use video content. Come on brands right. 24% bought when it was posted inside of a group that they were a part of 18% when they saw short video content, so real is basically on

Facebook and Instagram. And then 16% When they sell shops, because Facebook and Instagram can have shops. So if you have that capability, especially if you have a physical product, look into doing that, because that's a great idea 14% When they saw live shopping, so when you do live streams, you see people do live streams, and they're selling things on the live 14% discovered a new product or brand and purchase

during that time. And then 15% When they saw something posted by an influencer, so getting people who have more followers than you but may have like the same kind of demographics that you're looking for your marketing to that will help you so so much. Okay, and then there's one more thing I wanted to share with you, I think where to go okay, 52% of people find a gift for someone while while browsing. And I think I said this before, and if you saw my other posts, you probably see

this. But while browsing, that means they're not intentionally looking for something, they're just scrolling the scroll or looking for something else, and they find something for a friend or family a gift for someone else, right 43% Find a product or service they were not actively looking for Hello, this

is huge. 38% find a product or service they didn't know about 35% a find a brand that they didn't know about 24% find a local business they didn't know about and 24% After seeing a product or service that they hadn't paid add behind it. So this is huge. Okay, this is really huge. Again, this is all about being consistent. This is all about putting out the content. Yes, we we should be

putting out content. Now. For our holiday sales, we should be nurturing our audience now for our holiday offers, we should be doing everything right now consistently, so that when our offer comes out, we've already nurtured these people, we've already built the like, know and

trust with these people. And that is why the Black Friday accelerator is so important because not only for Black Friday sales, but any of your holiday sales, to really get ready and be prepared to launch those offers to create those offers or repurpose offers that you already have created to announce those offers to tease

those offers. All of those things are involved along with what is happening in the email, what is your social media marketing, looking like all of that is what we're gonna go over in the Black Friday accelerator.
