How many people are , like , obsessed with video ? Do you love video ? Like ? You seriously cannot get enough of video content . It's so funny . Back in the day , I used to prefer to read over watching a video , and as my business evolved , I decided I really need to watch more video content .
Like , the reading like took so much longer , right , and so video is something that I could consume , whether I was watching the screen or not , and so when I learned that that was a possibility , I was like , okay , forget it , don't have time to read anymore .
I'm totally just going to consume with video content , and I think the thing that we forget is that video content is so much more memorable than words on a post , and video content is so much more memorable than even a photo .
Sometimes , right , obviously , it depends on the caption and depends on the person reading it and their perception of it , but when you actually are on video , right , you feel in that moment , is that person feeling authentic ? Do I want to listen to more ? Do I feel their confidence coming through the screen ? Do I feel them pulling me towards them ?
Like , you get to decide all of those things when it comes to watching video content , whereas if I am in a bad mood , right , and I read someone's posts and I take it as the way that , in the mood that I'm in , right , versus seeing their mannerisms , what is it ? Communication is like 7% . What you say , it's like 7% .
What you say , I don't know , like 35% . The community , is it the words that you say ? I can't remember , but anyhow , basically it's body language , right , like your body language . You can't see body language specifically in a post that is typed out or written , and so video is video , but some video is more digestible , which is why we have short-form video .
Right , it is like the preview to say , hey , here's what 15 to 60 seconds of my content looks like .
This is giving you a reason to go watch the longer-form content , right , like it's the movie premiere or preview before the two-hour movie , and I think it's a great indicator for people to decide do I want to stop , do I want to pause or do I just want to go on ? Right ?
And yes , we can do trends all day long , but doing trends all day long does not show our expertise , it doesn't show how we teach , it doesn't show how we talk , it doesn't show as much of our personality , and so I think that we're missing out when we do all trends and no talking to Cam , right , but I also think that people that do all talking to Cam ,
like this , basically , and they're not using trends are also missing out . So I think we could have a variety of both in our content and I put this in my free group like middle of July and this is something interesting that Facebook is now doing . We've always heard that Facebook prioritizes video , right .
Well , they're actually calling themselves out and they're saying that video is now the key driver of all Facebook usage and they're not really necessarily prioritizing one video over another , but it's like lives , reels and recorded video .
So right now , there's a real section in Facebook , there is a watch section in Facebook and they're separate , but they will actually be moving to the same thread versus separate threads . So I think that's interesting . They're also focusing on improving their video editing for reels , again , because they're trying to make this a priority .
And the great thing about short form video is number one . I think you get to find a way to make it work for every platform . So if you are going to be on multiple platforms , like Facebook and Instagram and TikTok and YouTube Shorts , you get to find a way to make that content work for each one , because it can work on each one .
It just works a little bit differently , and so one of the things that I'm going to teach you inside of reels that convert , even for introverts , is how to do this , how to do that , how does it make sense ?
What are some things I can do to make sure that that platform picks up what I'm laying down on that video , like the platform that I actually created it in ? Or is it easier for me to create my videos inside of an app like InShot or my new favorite , capcut , right ?
Is it better to create them there and then take it and , like , put it out everywhere , right , using the sound , on the individual platform ? So we're going to talk about that . We're going to also talk about what happens when I don't feel like getting on video that day .
What happens when I don't want my face on video that day , because that happens to a lot of us , and I think we think that we can't have the impact that we want without our face on video , and I think that's incorrect .
Yes , I always want your face to eventually be on video , but there are ways to really create an impact without our face being on video all the time as well .
So we're going to talk about all of those things inside of reels that convert , even for introverts , and really this program is about taking your views to followers , taking your followers to raving fans and taking your raving fans to future clients , and that's what I want to show you in this framework that I'm going to teach you as far as your content and the
content you'll put out in short form video , and then all the other fun things that you get to do with short form video as well . So I'm super excited about this program that I see the link is in for some reason . It's like popping up on my Facebook lives , but you can grab that link .
And if you don't see the link , just drop reels and I will send you that link . And even though it says reels , we're going to be talking about reels , tiktok , youtube shorts , all of them , all of the above , because they're all important part of our content strategy and I want you to excel and succeed at all of them , even as an introvert .
So I cannot wait for this program to start . We start on Wednesday , so I'm super excited to pour into everyone and really get micro focused on short form video with you for a week .
