I want to ask you, have you ever felt this way in your business? And I'm gonna take you on a little journey and tell you about some things that I've experienced in business and I went through and how I overcame them? Because I think that's the most important. We've all been in those places where we're barely making like four figures a month, right? Been
there. So we can't even imagine hitting five figures. Right? Like, it seems like an impossible feat. When you're barely making four figures a month, like you're barely making 1000 bucks a month, right? In your business. When we feel like nothing is working. How many people have been there? How many people have felt like nothing is working like nothing, you feel like you're doing all these needle moving activities, but
nothing is quite working. Maybe watching what other people are doing and trying to figure out how they do that. Like, they don't even have that many followers. Or maybe they have a huge following how do they get there, right? Or they don't have a huge following and they're getting all this engagement. Or they're getting all these sales and you're like racking your brain like why can I do that? What am I doing wrong? Why am I not good enough? Been there? Wondering what was wrong with
me? Have you ever wondered that like, what's wrong with me? Why doesn't this happen for me? Why does it seem so easy for everybody else? But for me, it seems like I'm doing everything but it's not. It's not producing results, right? Results, aka sales, because that's what we really want, right? We all want to increase ourselves or feel like that your content isn't speaking to your person like it's not nudging them, it's not getting a reaction out of them.
It's not getting them to show up in your DMS it's not getting them to click the link is not getting them to inquire, ask more questions. So therefore, you position it in your mind that content isn't working. Also been there. But keep putting it out. Because that's what we're told to do is be consistent. And even though it's not working, at least I'm consistent. Been there. So do not feel alone. If you are saying these things you have ever said these things to
yourself. I want you to know that everything we experience in this business owner, entrepreneur, whatever you call yourself is obviously a journey, right? And there's a lot of trial and error that happens. But one thing that I found was there was a way to shortcut everything. And some people call it the cheat code. Some people call it like literally downloading information from somebody else's mind into yours. But I'll never forget listening
to a podcast. I think it was robbed while he was talking about like, what happens if tomorrow, like you literally lost all of the memory of how like you've grown your business, all of your knowledge. What would that be worth to you? And I was like, gosh, if I lost all my marketing knowledge, all the knowledge that I've gotten over the past six, probably 10 years because I owned a business back in 2012. But if I lost all that knowledge and all of the
failures, right? Because that's really where success comes from failing multiple times. Because we have to fail to get success, like and I believe the truest successes come from getting back up after we fall down. But he said would you be willing to pay to shortcut to get that knowledge back? And I'm like, Yeah, you know, like, imagine like losing the memory of like your children or your husband. And if you could pay somebody to get that those memories back Would you do it? Yes, you would,
right? We don't want to lose that our knowledge is worth so much. So like, it's the same thing when it comes to investing or thinking about hiring a mentor, or someone who can help you fast track that knowledge that you don't have. It's the same thing. You want that knowledge, you don't have that knowledge, right? So the things that really helped me overcome all of these issues that I had, like these problems that I had, you know, barely making four figures, you're barely making
$1,000 a month. I've been there. Feeling like nothing is working, watching other people succeed and feel like I'm doing it, but I'm not doing it right. Or wondering how they did that wondering what was wrong with me feeling like my content didn't speak to my audience. But I kept putting it out. Because Hello, that's what we're supposed to do. The number one thing is I started doing as I worked on my mindset. And I know it's such a jargon word, like it's like Band
Aid, right? Like Band Aid brand, everything's a band aid, whether it's a band aid brand or not, right mindset is the same thing. But when we don't pour into ourselves, when we don't work on finding the silver lining, or being in abundance mindset, instead of lack, it hurts everything. Right? Comparison, I'm not good enough, I'm never going to reach those goals, you know, that it hurts everything in our business. Because if we don't believe it's possible,
it's not possible. We are the story we tell ourselves, right. The second thing is having a community of people that understood me was huge. And there are tons of free communities out there, and they're great. But when you join a community that's paying, just like you are right, you feel safe. You feel safe sharing, you feel safe, pouring into each other, you feel safe, supporting each other, you feel safe, telling people how you got over
it, it's a safe community. The third thing I did was having a mentor who was ahead of me, or where I wanted to go at the time. That's changed over the years, right. But I'm always looking at who is my next mentor, who is the next person I can learn from. I invest very close to probably 50 to $60,000, a year in my business, in mentors, training, education, mindset, all of that. It matters. I can't get above where I want to go if I don't invest.
Knowing the fourth thing, knowing how to market myself and getting visible. Huge for my business huge for growth, even as an introvert. And then the fifth thing was investing in amount that stretched me was probably the biggest thing that supported my growth. Because when you literally pay an amount of money that you're like, I can't breathe. This is so uncomfortable. It stretches you.
I'll never forget when I hired my most recent coach, and I was like, this is the most money I've ever paid for a coach ever. And I couldn't breathe when I pushed the pay button. And I had to commit to three months. And I'm so glad that I did. Because if I would not have had to commit to three months, I probably would have quit the day after I signed up. And it
stretched me It pushed me. But I made over half of what I had to pay her that was unexpected within seven days of making that payment over half within seven days. Because I believed in myself enough to make that investment. I took and got rid of my money blocks and said I'm doing this I know it's going to result in something crazy. Even though it's really scary right now. I'm really uncomfortable right now I know this is going to produce something crazy for
my business. When I looked at my month, that month, it didn't look like I was going to make that much money. And then I doubled what I paid her April looked like it was going to be another crappy month, right? But I tripled on top of what I was going to make what I paid her. It's may mean I'm going to quadruple what I paid her. Yeah, I believe that. But I have to have that belief and I have to put that uncomfortableness, right I have to do that uncomfortable thing and stretch myself in order to
do that. The more belief we have the more we're willing to get uncomfortable and the more we're willing to stretch ourselves, the more growth we're gonna have, financially, personally, business. But it takes taking that scary step. When we take that scary step crazy things happen. So I want to invite you to make a scary step.
