My mentor said something to me today. And it's funny. I love recording these podcasts because I told a friend of mine, they are truly like a verbal journal, they are really real life. So I am recording this the night before, like, it's 10pm here, and I'm going to release this at 4am on tomorrow. So we're like six hours out before this hitting, it's like the the hot off the presses. Like how are you feeling in this moment? What are you thinking in this moment? And I think it's, it's
important, right? So this is real life. And so we were talking, our mentor was talking about going back to our transformation story. And, you know, I, I know that sometimes when I talk about visibility, I'm talking to a more, I don't even want to say entry level, but maybe somebody who is who maybe is changing their business model. So maybe they've been a service provider, and they're going to more programs and you know, less done
for you things right. And so maybe as a service provider, they didn't really need to worry about visibility, but now they're moving on. So I get that some people may be truly in the entry level part of their business. And some people may just be changing directions. But I just said to her, I was like, Well, you know, when I talk about visibility, you know, I feel like sometimes I am talking to the more entry level person. And she, I'm gonna have to pull up her message because I made
notes on it. But she was like, what about those coaches who have kind of gone quiet. And those, you know, those higher level people that, you know, their business is going decent, right, but they just, you know, they've gotten quiet, and they're back to hiding again. And it's funny that she said that, because I may have talked about this before on the podcast, but there are moments where I get quiet. And when I get quiet, it's really hard, right? It's that whole momentum
thing, right? When I drop off being consistent on live videos, or tic TOCs, or reels or stories, or whatever it is, it's really hard to get that momentum going back again. But once you have that momentum going, it's flow, it's really easy, right? But then we get in those moments, we get comfortable again, and then we gotta push out of our comfort zone again,
and get back out there. And so I do believe that there are much higher level people, and people that probably have great businesses that just maybe don't have as much time for visibility and don't have as much time put themselves out there. Or they're in the same thing that I think sometimes Oh, people very heard my story about a million times. It's not true, right? It's not true, there's always something else that we can say there's always a different way to say
it. We can say it in live video, we can say it in a real we can say it in stories, we can say it in a carousel, we can say it in a long typed out post on a blog or a Facebook post or whatever, right? There's so many other ways that we can say it. And if we are truly building our business one piece of content at a time, would we not want that content to be mostly video and a visibility visible type of content? Right? But also, if we're always building our business, one piece of content
at a time? Are we not always evolving? Are we not always changing? You know, every time I tell my story, I can I have a new Aha, like, oh, I never said this before when I told my story, but I'm just realizing this because the more that I grow, the more that I can see the disconnect and what I was missing back then, right? You know, I used to say, video changed my life. And then I went on this uncomfortable challenge.
And I said wait a minute, actually, video didn't change my life, getting uncomfortable and doing the scariest thing that I thought I could ever do. That
changed my life. Video changed my business visibility changed my business visibility made Christie the person not the business owner have way more confidence because I was willing to get get out and do the scary thing and and do video content and do summits and then do events where I'm actually standing on a stage in person in front of people with blood red hives going on my neck, right? But I did it. I did it and so it not only, you know changed my life getting uncomfortable, but
it gave me more confidence. It. It helped me to, you know, it led me to do the scary thing. And so I think that there's always a new level of courage, right? There's always a new level of telling her story. There's always a new level of getting visible. I had a client tell me the other day that she was like the way A you like repurpose your content and say the same thing over and over is just like, you know, wow, those weren't her exact words, but I'm just kind of like we were
immersed in it. So I was like, I guess I never really thought about it. But I go deep, I nailed down really, really deep when it comes to my content. And so it's interesting that somebody recognize that and notice that, and, you know, I was like, okay, then this is something that I get to document and I get to do this video one. And so for Omni I, I was like, Okay, this is your 30 Minute training. I'm not really selling this. This is just like, I'm going to show you what's in my
brain. I don't know if it makes any sense at all, but I'm going to do it anyhow. And, you know, again, something that I feel like, I just do this. It's like my transformation. I just did it. Right. Like I, I, I talked about it forever. But there's still people who say, Oh, my God, I've never heard this story before. Oh, my God, I didn't know that. Oh, my God, like. So we forget that. Number one. Everything we say we talk about, we get to repeat over and over and over. Everything that we do.
We get to repeat over and over that it is a noisy world out there. There's always stuff flying across people's screens. And as they're as they're scrolling, right. So if we only choose to say something one time, not only are we doing our business a disservice, but we're doing our audience a disservice to because we're not getting an opportunity to see that story in different mediums. And that's that's a shame. Right? So we get to put ourselves out there more. be uncomfortable and tell your
story. More times than you feel like you need to Right. Talk about your transformation. Talk about what you're good at. Talk about what got you from there to here? Yes, investing in myself, yes. Getting better at selling, launching, yes. All of these things got me to where I'm at. But you know what, I wouldn't be where I'm at without that visibility piece. I wouldn't be where I'm at. Because if I would have never gotten uncomfortable
to get visible. I'm not sure. I would have enjoyed that comfort zone way too much. I don't even know if I'd have I probably wouldn't have a business right now. But I almost definitely wouldn't be teaching and be knowledgeable and consider myself expert status at the things that I teach. There's no way. So what spurred your transformation? What got you over that first transformation to get you where you are today? And how is it still helping you today? And how can you talk
about it more? And how can you stop being afraid to get visible again, if maybe you were really consistent, and you just kind of got out of it? Those are stories you get to or questions, you got to ask yourself, my friend. The thing is, is that sometimes thinking back about our transformation story, and how we've evolved, how we've grown and how we've learned and grew like that, in itself, could spur
another transformation. You're always just like, one, what is it a one second thought away from transforming your life again. So maybe it starts with visibility for you. Maybe we get to get back into being consistent with being visible, or we get to be visible on our personal page or somewhere where we've been a little afraid to be visible. And push through the fear and do it anyhow, so that we can make an impact on an additional audience or a different audience than we were
talking to a year ago. We'd love to know your thoughts. Make sure you reach out to me and let me know how you feel about your transformation and how you can share it with your audience.
