we all can agree. Being an entrepreneur, a business owner, a CEO, whatever it is that you call yourself is crazy, right? We totally, for the most part are not understood by the majority of the population. When you look at statistics, like, I think it's 85% of people are happy being in their comfort zone happy with where they're at, or I won't say happy, but at least satisfied, they're okay with being average and where
they're at. And then I think it's 10% want to do better, they're just not always doing better. And then the 5% are the crazy ones that actually do you realize that the majority do not understand this whole, I'm going to be a business owner thing. And although I do, and am able to have a much better quality of life now, then I did when I first started this crazy, adventure, and the whole working 80 hours a week and things like that is not my normal anymore. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
And it got me to where I'm at. And it got me the results that I wanted. And although I don't think everyone needs to do that, I think all of us can always increase what we're doing, increase our, I'm doing air quotes, all in efforts, increase our consistency, whatever that looks like, now, we can all increase what we are doing. I don't want to sit here and give like a false hope to anybody that thinks that they can show up one hour a week and they can like really build a six figure
business. Is it possible? Yes. But the majority will struggle with working on their business one hour a week, it's just not. It's just, it's just not the consistency enough, especially in brand awareness. Unless you're running a lot of ads. Unless you're very SEO focused, or a lot of things that can get you there. Um, a friend of mine, were talking this morning, like Amazon affiliates, and having a really strong SEO there is there are ways that you can make
money, right? There are ways that you can make money working less. But if you're building something from scratch, if you're building building something, that's you, that may not be the case. So I want to make sure that I'm being very clear there. But the thing is, is that I want to say, six months ago, maybe not quite six months ago, I was talking to my coach at the time about being stuck at a revenue that I was like, I'm stuck here like I'm not, you know, I feel like
I'm I'm not moving. And she goes, can you go to the mall, like right now and ask everybody in the mall, if they've ever made as much a month as you have. And she goes, there might be one person in there might be one person that has made that much money and you've done it consistently for 24 months. I was like, okay, good, call out good call. And obviously, I thought that's cool. And she was like Money loves you, you've been consistent, you need to accept that. And of course, I
let it sink in. And then I went on about my day. I went to buy a new Jeep last night, and new to me. And I obviously had to fill out the paperwork and what I did, and all this stuff. And so while I was waiting on my husband to get there to sign his part of the paperwork, the manager came up to me and said, I am fascinated by what you put down. Can we just talk about what you do? Like what do you
do? And so I started telling him exactly what I did, how I help business owners grow I how I you know, I started my business by really helping people get on video especially introverts because I was but my true goal is help people be seen be heard, and really live the life that they want to live and that may not be six figures for everybody. But it may be seven figures for others, right and so whatever that looks like just help them with more brand awareness and really being seen.
And so he just kept going wow. And he was just blown away by it. And again, a reminder that the majority of people do not understand what we do. They do not understand what we're willing to do. They do not understand the online world right? This is a guy in a car dealership who makes really good money I have friends in the car dealership industry, and they're all very do very, very well right they just go to a 95 or 99 or whatever that looks like
every single day. And obviously during the pandemic car sales were crazy. So they they their revenue, their income all went up. But here's the thing, people still do not understand and know what we do and they do not understand The work that we do, they don't understand the amount of money that we can charge. They don't understand any of those things. My coach yesterday, yesterday Monday, announced that she hit 7 million in 10 months $7 million in 10 months.
And I responded and jokingly said, what recession question mark? And she goes, Yeah, and it mean, and I think that's what people don't understand. Like, I can sit here and assume the world is ending, and the world is going to hell, and we have no money and there's no money going around, and I can't get that money. And that will be my reality. 100% That will be my reality. Or I can choose to believe, which is what I do believe that nobody burned billions of dollars, like the
money is still here. It's still circulating, yes. Did Costs of Goods go up? Yes, the gas go up? Yes. Can we blame administration or whatever, if we want to Sure we can. Or we can just take ownership, that it's still my job to pay my bills, it is still my job to find revenue for my business, it's still my job to sell, it's still my job to show up everyday, it's still my job to be consistent, or I can be woe is me, the world is ending, this is the way it is, nobody's
gonna survive this. I'm just gonna sit here, because nobody's gonna buy from me. And we can live in that reality two. Very interesting that there are two different perspectives here, and two different ways to live. Even if you're not making the revenue that you want, even if you feel deep down inside, that that is the way it is. Can we start telling ourselves a different story? Can we start
embodying a different story? Can we embody well, that it doesn't necessarily mean a number in our bank account, but it is a way of being a way of living, a way of doing a way of showing up, not pretending, not lying, not selling false intentions, but truly showing up embodying wealth. embodying what you believe embodying who you want to be and who you want to become? What's wrong with that? The possibilities are endless. And I want you to remember that there is no cap on your success.
Every time I have thought someone could not afford me, I have seen them go pay another coach. And that was a missed opportunity on my part. So we don't assume how much money somebody is willing to spend, or if they're willing to spend it, we don't assume that we're too expensive. For others. We set our prices, we move forward. And we know and we embody, that whoever is meant to work with me is going to work with me.
And if we carry that certainty with us, in the way that we show up in the way that we consistently show up. Take radical responsibility for when we screw up and the things that we do, are the things that we get to do as a business owner. And really, consistency is the name of the game, and stop worrying about what everybody else is doing. And focus on yourself. That's the game changer, my friends.
That's how you live this crazy, unexplainable, different life, weird life, whatever you want to call it, than everybody else does. The question is, are you willing to do that? Are you willing to make the move? Are you willing to be different? Are you willing to be vulnerable? Are you willing to embody wealth or whoever it is that you want to be?
Or are you going to keep telling yourself the same story on repeat, that is not serving you, that is not helping you and definitely not getting you to the goals that you want to reach.
