The path to freedom is one that I feel like I have been on for a couple years. And I really finally had freedom in my business in the year 2022. And obviously, a lot of people think, oh, it's an overnight success. And you can do it in just like, five days. And obviously, we know that's not true. And it has been a journey. And I think the thing about my business is that I started out with my priority of being visible, even though looking back, I can tell like, my content wasn't as good as it
should have been. And my videos weren't as great as they should have been. And they're still not and I can always improve. But that was like the foundation, right? That was the foundation of my business was being visible. And the number one thing that people ask me, if they do not have a business yet is what I want to have my own business someday. But what can I do until the meantime like to so that when I do start this business that it grows, number one, get visible, get visible.
And number two is build relationships, because those relationships, you never know what they can lead to, right. So this trajectory of my business started out with being invisible, I didn't know exactly where I wanted, I wanted it to go. Because at the time, I had no intention of actually getting rid of one on one clients. And I still have one on one clients.
But I have a handful, where before I had like 15 to 20 at a time, which was not sustainable, as a business owner, unless I wanted to turn into an agency model and really hire out a lot of it, I did have support then. But a lot of it I did on my own and just wasn't sustainable to keep that going and working 80 hour weeks. But the things that really led me to my freedom, were first creating multiple revenue streams. And that can be
many different things. I think a lot of times in the online space, we think it's Oh, I don't know what to teach, or I am going to create a course. And yes, that is a great one. And it's very popular one. But there are so many other opportunities as well. It's funny, because I used to say I used to actually help recruit IT people, so programmers, developers, and so they would like always have a creative outlet. And they would always be creating these
websites. And I was like, if I could code, I would totally, like have my own business. Because I could totally do that. And now in the world we live in, we don't have to code, right, we have a lot of drag and drop options. But there are so many other creative outlets and things that maybe you're more interested in doing than selling a course. And so that is why I love talking about streams of revenue, because there are multiple of them, that we're not
always thinking about. The other thing that has helped me grow, the business that I have is number one, I never started a month zero, right, I always have some kind of projection of what the next month is going to look like. Now, granted, people default sometimes. And some people times people don't renew, and there's all those things
that happen. But for the most part, I know I'm good, right, this is where I'm starting, you know, the next couple months, I know this is like the base, and I just get to build on that with new revenue every single month. And part of learning how to do that is income stacking. And a lot of people don't take advantage of that. And so is a great way to manage your financials, but also to keep increasing and building on it
every single month. And then the last thing that I've done really to maximize everything that I do, which is also a part of scaling right is that nothing I do is for one thing. For example, this video will also become a podcast. This video will get chopped up into small 15 second clips, this video will go on multiple platforms, right?
If I'm teaching live, I'm going to have a video camera set up or my phone recording what I do so that I can literally take screenshots or I can literally create 15 second clips and I can use those somewhere else. If I'm in a photo shoot, I have a video I have my phone set up with camera. If I'm going on a walk, I have my phone, I create content. I always maximize everything I do. I don't do anything just for that thing. It's like literally like people who never reuse their leftovers.
Know for dinner. Like there's always multiple uses for every single thing I do. I may record a masterclass but I also am building my list at the same time and I'm also recording it so I'm getting the maximum out of every single thing that I do. And I think that has also really helped me build my business scalability, there have been times in my business where I've had a team, there have been times in my business where I've just paid people to do one off projects. And it's all, it's all
scalable. It's just how do you want to do it even if you, you know, there are points in your business where you want any team members, there's points in your business where you don't need them as much, right. So whatever you want to do, and how you want to scale, it all starts with really working smarter, not harder, and then maximizing everything that we do, including if I'm teaching, maximizing the ways that I can sell that program to, but also current program members get access to
that, too. So it's like, how can we maximize everything that we do. And then, along with that, right, the streams, the income, stacking the scaling, this is another S word I had to learn how to sell. And I think for so long, I was really timid about selling. I no longer use the word pitching, because I hate that word. And it just brings up a lot of, I think trauma, to be honest with you, for me, because it's just not a fun word for me. I changed my wording and my
mindset around sales. And if you would have told me that this version of me that is talking to you right now would be selling every single month, two years ago, I would have laughed in your face and said no way. If you told me that to that girl, two years ago, she was going to be launching something new every single month. Again, I would laugh in your face, that person did not want to do what this person does now. And the reason she did it is because she was
scared. And she didn't know what she was doing well enough and didn't have the mindset to do this well enough that I can do it now. When we tend to sell a lot, when we tend to create new programs, we make a lot of decisions, we make a lot of mindset, we make a lot of things mean something. And we don't make it mean, oh, I didn't market this well enough. Or oh i did i i wasn't visible as much as I should have been. Or I didn't talk about it. If no, we make it, I suck my prices too
high. Nobody wants to work with me. Like I stopped making everything about me. It's not about me. It's just like our content. It's not about me, it's not about me, my content is about me. It's like me showing up on video, I don't show up on video for me, I show up on video for you, right, for the person that's watching that can have a takeaway. And so that has really, really helped my
business. And then also, when I'm creating the streams when I'm income stacking, I'm doing that by seeing what is what is missing in the industry that I'm attracting what is missing, for most entrepreneurs and CEOs? What is missing? What are they not doing? What are they not getting? What could they be doing more of, along with people that I mentor and the people that I see and the questions that I get in my inbox. And so when you have all of this, and you're also it's like this
domino effect, right? So obviously, I'm creating income streams, or revenue streams. Also, I'm income stacking. Also, I'm scaling every single day, I'm doing something new to contribute to those three things. But also, I'm constantly pouring into myself, which means I'm constantly learning, which means I'm constantly implementing, because I am not just mastery in anything or an expert at anything. I am an integration master, right? So I integrate every single thing I
do through the process. And so that has helped me build the business that I have with little to no team. And I think that's huge. And I would never say I've done it all by myself because it's not true. I've had mentorship I've had masterminds in inner circles that I've been a part of, I have had community, I've had amazing friendships that literally don't let me quit, and they have no idea the
effect that they have on me. But also, you know, those people that have had that have done one off projects for me or worked with me for three months to help me like tackle something that I was struggling to tackle. And, you know, saying no, also to things that no longer serve me and saying no to things that just take up my time and don't help towards the bottom line. So I think there's so many things collectively that go into that.
But creating incomes, revenue streams, creating income stacking, scaling, every single thing is created this sustainable business that I have, and the multiple amounts of income or revenue streams that I have, have really, really helped. So that I never feel like if one thing doesn't work out or one client leaves or doesn't renew, it doesn't, yes, it's sad, because I obviously love all of my
clients. But it doesn't like, take my business, right, it doesn't like put this big dent in my business so that I'm like, Oh, crap, like, I'm gonna have to go get a nine to five, most of the time, I want to get a nine to five, because of up here, not because of what's in my bank account. So hopefully that helps you, especially as a service provider, I know a lot of times, we feel like we can't even go to multiple revenue streams, because we're so
focused on the done for you. And that that has to be the priority. But it's as simple as like really taking that shift and like, Okay, how many people a lead I need in this program, right? To make up for that one client. How many people do the math, okay, that's doable. And then the other thing that I realized was in pricing, my lowest or my highest, when I originally started having multiple revenue streams, my highest monthly rate is now like
my lowest. And I think that's another thing that's been really mind blowing, is just that trajectory of growth, and the trajectory of confidence, and getting rid of money blocks and knowing what you know, knowing the value that you put out there, but also owning it and having the confidence in all of that. And so there are a lot of layers. When it comes to the revenue streams, the income stacking and the scalability, obviously, we talked about sales, also, there's the money
thing and the pricing. But at the end of the day, when you work with someone, a mentor who puts it all together, that is just like a game changer. And if you are a service provider, and you're looking for someone to support you through this, I am here I am willing, I am ready to help you go through this, no matter how long it takes, right? And hold your hand through this because we allow so many things to get in our mind like, well, what if? What if I can't replace
that client's revenue? Like then I'm screwed? And what if this doesn't work out? Or what if this doesn't sell? Or what if people don't know me well enough, or what if and the thing is, is that having a mentor who's been through all of those what ifs and overcame them, and can show you the path is huge. And just because I can show you the path doesn't mean it's my
path exactly right. But it's the path that's going to work for you and your business and what your goals are and what you're trying to do.
