I have been fortunate after I got over years of being proud, I think when I first started my business, I was in a very proud space. I wanted to do do everything on my own and stick it to the man and really prove to my husband that I need help, right that I could
do all this on my own. And it's funny for me to say that now because I had such a passion for that kind of statement. And I realized really quickly that even though I was doing things on my own, and I was getting referrals and I was being successful, I could have went so much faster. had I gotten someone else's knowledge had I gotten someone else's support. had I gotten someone who wasn't inside my business, who could look on the outside with an objective view versus me being
on the inside. And being very just too in the weeds, right to end it. I tell this to clients all the time. Like I hire coaches, and I hire support in strategy, because I even though I'm really good at it, sometimes I'm too close to it in my own business. And so I need that additional support. Sometimes that comes in the form of mentors, sometimes that comes in the form of friends who are strategists who just see the picture so clear, like, why are
you doing this? And I'm like, oh, yeah, like, yeah, that makes so much sense. For example, my ads account kept getting shut down. Every third ad I put out my ad account kept getting shut down. And it was so simple. And my friend Kelly, who will be on the podcast soon. She said, Why are you just starting a new ads account? And I was like, Oh my gosh, like it's so obvious, right? It's a really good book called obvious Adams. If you've never read it, check it out. But
it was so obvious. Why did I not think of that, right? Like, it just was I was too in it. I was too in a deceit. And so the one thing that has helped me fast track my business quicker than anything else is knowing what we call the cheat codes to life. And the cheat codes to doing that thing that I want to be better at. I'll never forget I listened to a podcast by Rob
dial. And he was explaining how if you lost all of your knowledge, like everything that made you, you and helped you in your business, like everything that you were passionate about, if you lost all of that, what would you do to get it back like it would be priceless, to get that back to not have to go through 10 years, and relearn everything that you had learned from the beginning. And I'll never forget when he said that because it was like You are so
right. So why are we not more willing to pay for the knowledge that we lack? Why are we not more willing to pay for what we don't understand? Why are we not more willing to pay for the cheat codes to fast track are way too for in my instance, to better to easier and better sales to easier and better launches. Those are the things that I really struggled with in my business and I hated lodging. It made me a miserable person.
And so I dreaded and avoided it then when I actually did it I didn't go all in it was just the way it was right? So only launched a couple times a year because the dread, the fear, the letdown, the failure, like all of that just just consumed me and the same thing with sells. Like I was always so worried about doing like a workshop or a webinar because not because of the teaching. Because the stupid pitch at the end. I didn't want to pitch I just wanted to give
freely. And it's not that I didn't want to upsell at the end. It's honestly that I had such a fear of that pitch. Such a fear. Which quick cheat code for you right here. Stop calling it pitch. A pitch sounds gross. A pitch sounds good. I now say I invite them. And that's it. I would love to invite you stop saying pitch, copy and pitch stop me bitch nominate that sounds gonna sound really bad if you say like that. But anyhow, so I was willing to pay for the cheat codes, I was willing to
pay whatever. It took the most expensive course I'd ever bought $3,333 for a four week course, I believe it was. Yeah, most money I've ever spent. But I knew I needed to change. I knew that what I was learning and what people were telling me wasn't working with my brain, I knew that I needed a leg up on this because I wasn't going to improve. And I was going to continue to beat myself up. And I was going to continue to feel like I sucked, and I was going to continue to let it hurt my
confidence. Because I didn't know how to do that. Well. I can crush it on video, I can crush it with my marketing, but then I can't crush it with my sales. I can't close the save my life. Right? Those are the things I told myself. Launching is exhausting. It's stressful. It makes me want to cry. I'm not 100% in it, because I don't I'm not good at it. And we don't feel like we're good at something. We're not gonna go all in. And so I want you to think about what are you struggling with? Is it
marketing? Is it video? Is it content creation? Maybe it sells a launching? That's why I created the launch course that I did. Because I don't want people to know my way. I don't want them to think that it has to be my way. Have I found a way that works? For me? That works for my brain? I have salutely Have I launched in just about every way possible? Absolutely. Are there ways that I'm going to launch that I haven't tried yet? Absolutely. Am I going to teach those?
Absolutely. It's not my job to tell you it's this way or no way. And that's it anything. And thankfully, I've learned that there is no one size fits all in marketing and sales in launching, and how you show up for your business, and visibility. There's ways that work, there are ways that you can design that works best for you. For example, I've taught how to teach. I've taught how to create your own content for six, five years. That is evolve, that has changed. I can still teach
all the ways. But I've made it simpler. I've made it easier. I've made it make more sense. I've also made it make more of an impact. So think about what is it that you are struggling with? What is it that you need that she codes for? What is it that you get to approve upon? I don't know the answer, but you do.
