The number one thing that I can say about sales is that I believe that if you know how to make money , that creates freedom , and there are many ways to make money . Obviously , you can work a job right . There are ways to sell things , and when we can sell things , we can create uncapped income .
Now , depending on what you sell , depending on how you sell it , depending on how much you're willing to show up , depending on how visible you are , depending on how visible your offers are , depending on the content that you're putting out , how many raving fans you've created like there are a lot of things that go into this .
It's not like just you know and I'm pretty sure we said this a lot on this podcast but it's not like build it and they will come . We totally get that . That's not how that works . However , if you want true freedom , it comes from knowing how to make money , and the easiest way to make money is to sell your things .
Whether you are selling something that you know how to do , so you're teaching others . Whether you were selling widgets or gadgets or crafts or templates , you know whatever it is right .
And whether you're reselling things , whether you're dropshipping things right , there are so many ways to make money , and I talked about this a lot in streams , but we need , I believe , more than one revenue stream . Now you may not be in a place where that can happen right now , in this moment , and that is also okay , and I think you get to self-identify .
Is that too much to put on my plate ? But a lot of things we aren't thinking about . That's really simple to do , but that's not what today's podcast is about . But what I want to encourage you is that , if there is a fear around sales , ask yourself some questions about it . Why is there a fear ? What am I afraid of ? Let's go .
What's the worst absolute thing that could happen if I sell this offer ? Right , but what's the best possible scenario that could happen if I sell this offer ? What can't I do without that potential additional revenue that I'm going to create or income , whatever you want to call it and what can I do with that ?
I think sometimes we put so much pressure around sales instead of saying wouldn't it be fun if ten people bought this tomorrow ? Wouldn't this be fun if , over the next year , a hundred people bought this ? Sometimes we want really huge numbers but we don't get really huge numbers because we honestly can't handle really huge numbers .
We don't have the backing systems , we don't have all these things , and I talk about this deeper in the sold out AF framework . But I think it's important to acknowledge we don't know what's going to happen until we do it .
And if we've been getting results , but maybe not the results we don't want or we're not getting results at all , then there's something deeper that we get to look at . It could be as simple and easy as a mindset thing .
It could be as simple and easy as I have no raving fans and I need to switch up my messaging and , yes , I do think that's easy to switch . It's just we still it doesn't happen overnight , right , like , so we switch our messaging . Our audience doesn't get on board overnight , it takes time , and so what I see is there's a fear of selling .
Then , when I start selling , I don't get the results I want .
So therefore , I make it mean something about me , or I make it mean something about the price , or make it mean something about the offer and instead of realizing just enough people haven't heard about it yet , like , or maybe you're still creating raving fans , and this is the thing that we get to build on over and over and over , and one of the things that
I've even seen in my containers is that people are still afraid of being selzy , and so when I created the sold out a framework , it was honestly just a content strategy , just to help you talk about your offers more .
And then , once I realized , okay , there's a lot of blocks in the way , there's a lot of energetics that people get to work through , there's a lot of things that are holding people back from selling . I can give them all the content tools I want . However , if we don't fix the real problem , nobody's going to put the content out anyhow .
So the framework became more than a probably a two-day program . This is what it probably would end up being .
We're now looking at least two weeks to get through all the material and really serve and support you fully as not only the CEO of your business , not only the marketer of your business , but also the salesperson of your business that will not need to be DMing , people that will not need to send hey girl messages , that will not need to get on sales calls .
If some businesses , that's a huge thing and you absolutely need to , but a lot of businesses you don't . My mastermind that I started selling in early 2021 , there were so many people that bought that I'd never even spoke to before in my life Not even a DM , not even a reply to an email . So I don't believe that sales calls are necessary Now .
If you're doing a discovery call and you have a high ticket done for you , yes , yes , most likely that is going to be a sales call situation . But if you're selling a product , if you're selling a program , if you're selling things that group programs and things like that , you do not need a sales call .
I would also say that most masterminds and recircles don't need a sales call either . So what's holding you back from selling ? What are you afraid of ? Why aren't you moving ? Why are your offers more visible ? Why aren't you talking about how you can literally change somebody's life through the offer that you have more ? What's holding you back ?
