I think that we should always talk about things, especially when we have major conviction

about them. And one of the things that I see that makes me really sad is that there are so many business owners who are so focused on their clients, which is great, and that builds your business, don't get me wrong, but they're so focused on their clients that they forget to market their own business, they forget that maybe they want multiple streams of income, they forget that they can do other things, besides serve a client

one on one. And I think it's important that we talk about this because it's hard sometimes as a business owner, to hold the duality of really like, you know, while I'm doing other people's social media, like who is doing mine, right? Who's keeping up with mine? Or who's making it better, right? And then, while you're out taking photos to support your clients with their visibility, like who's helping you consistently

get visible? And while you're out, you know, while you're out, you know, running around doing client tasks. Again, who's marketing your business for you? While you're running somebody's ads? Like, are you running ads for yourself as well as somebody else doing that? Are you using organic methods to get visible? Like, what are you doing on for your business? Right? How are

you growing your business? If you're creating like sales funnels and websites, to help people, or your clients create a life of freedom, like who is supporting you to do that for your, your own business? And I think I see this so often. And that, number one, even if you have no desire to ever have a passive program or another stream of revenue, you're you still should be working your business every single day.

Because what happens when we don't market our business, our potential leads dry up, we stop planting seeds, so therefore we stop reaping the harvest, right? And you always want that, hey, I'm not a fan of this word. But that pipeline of potential clients, right. But also think about it this way. Let's say you, you send somebody a proposal. It's not in their budget, which is fine, right? We have people at various levels. Do you have an offer? Like a

down sell from that? Or are you saying no to no money, right? Because that's not what I'm doing? Where you could instead of See you later, you could be saying, how about this? Right? I completely understand. I understand everybody has a budget, here are my other options. But if you don't have those other options? How are you making additional revenue? Like, are you seriously? Can you ask yourself, am I leaving money on

the table? And I think the reason I'm so passionate about this right now is because I've experienced this, I've been here, my friend. And I'll never forget the time, my friend said, I put my business first. The first two hours of every day are all about me and my business. And I was like, Oh my God, I don't do this. The first thing I did when I got up in the morning was I started working on my

clients stuff. And like, I do believe that two hours every day, which is now two days, but the two hours every day is it changed the trajectory of my business. And I think we forget like how knowledgeable we are and how much expertise that we have. And it's like, okay, we're getting our clients results, right, those results are our qualifications. Why would other people not want to learn what we do? Why would other people not want to learn to do this for themselves? Why would those

don't have the budget? Or some people have the budget, and they just actually don't want to give up the control? Like, maybe somebody on their team would want to learn to do that. So if we're not offering, they're not taking, right. It's, like I said this the other day, if you don't ask, or if you don't offer an upsell, how many do you sell? The answer is none. Right? So this is almost like a down sell situation, right? But if we're not offering a down sell, then there's no money coming in,

right? There's no revenue coming in from that person. So why can't we have that additional option to those who aren't ready to go all in? Or maybe they need to try to do it for themselves? And then those, they'll be like, oh, yeah, this was totally I understand why you're paying that. Why are you charging that much? I'm just gonna go ahead and say Yes, right. Because they realize that time is money. There are so many opportunities

for you out there. Whether it's teaching you're done for your clients, what you do, how to do do have their own business, whether it's teaching other people to do what you do and create a business like you have, like, or maybe it's even selling passive products like journals or a book, maybe you want to write a book, like there's so many things or templates on an Etsy store, it doesn't matter, right. The point being is that we set ourselves up for failure when we are not thinking of

other streams of revenue. You know, so many people are worried about AI. But let's be honest. Are you doing something as a backup plan? Do you have other streams of revenue, because when you have other streams of revenue, you're not as stressed. If you can't find your next one on one client, you're not as stressed, because you have other streams of revenue or recurring revenue coming in. So my question is, what are you going to do today? To change that?

What are you going to do today to change that trajectory of your business? The best time to put yourself first and put your business first was yesterday, the next best time is today. But you have to take that and grasp that opportunity and run with it. When we are the face of our business, it's really hard for anybody to do that for us, we actually have to show up first, yes, they can repurpose it, they can post it, they can schedule, they can do all those things.

But when we're the face of our business, and when we are our brand, it's normally on our shoulders to do that. And that's why it's so vital to do it first thing in the morning just like a workout or just like all the things that you dread doing, they say do those first. Not that I want you to dread doing this, by the way, but adding it to your calendar first so that it absolutely gets done and doesn't get behind. Because you'll never not do the client

work, right? So why would we not start with our business first because if we say I'll do it at the end of the day, then we're too tired. Or then we went over longer, and we won't do it, but we would still do client work if that were the case. So ask yourself, How can I work on this? How can I change? How can I improve? Working on my own business and stop starting out every morning working on theirs?
