Today's tip is two words to remove from your vocabulary to develop a growth mindset . These two words are just and only . Here are some common phrases that women often use I just want to follow up . I am just starting out . I have just been in business for one year . I just have one question . I only have two clients . I have only earned $500 last month .

Do you say phrases like this ? When you use the words just and only , you are putting limits on yourself . If you tell yourself that you can't do something , you're right . When you tell yourself that you can do something , you're also right . Here's a tip to put into immediate practice Remove the words just and only and do not replace them with another word .

They are filler words that diminish you , your accomplishments and your progress . Instead of saying I just wanted to follow up , say I am following up . Replace I have just been in business for one year with . I have been in business for one year . Instead of saying I just have one question , ask your question .

No qualifier is needed , especially if someone has opened the door for questions . If it's appropriate to ask for questions , say I have a question and then ask your question . Rather than saying I only have two clients say I have two clients . Or say my clients Replace I only earned $500 last month with . I earned a profit last month or I earned $500 last month .

A tip for practicing removing these words is to write the words just and only on a post-it note and then cross the words out , hang that post-it note up in a prominent location and then remove these words from emails , text and post and in no time the words will also stop leaving your mouth as well .
