On today's Monday minute, I just want to remind you that as an entrepreneur, as a CEO of your business, you are only as good as your energy, your health, your wellness. So if you are choosing your business, the working the long hours over your health, your water intake, your, what you're putting in your body. At some point, it's going
to catch up with you. I've been that person in 2019, who had a bulging disc in my back, which I think happened for a reason because I ended up having, they did an MRI and found out that I had multiple cysts on my ovaries, which I had to have surgery for and removed, but I wasn't prepared for that. And it set me back a really long time. And I worked out every single day pretty much until May of 2022. And then decided to take a summer break. And then I never
went back. And when I went to Hawaii in December, my back started bothering me. And even though I enjoyed my Hawaii trip, I could have enjoyed it a lot more if I wasn't in so much pain. So the lesson is, take care of you. Take care of you. Take care of your body, take care of your posture, take care of your water intake, take care of what you put in your body. Because again, you're only as energetic as your body will allow you to be if you are not on top of it, you will struggle
if you feel like crap. Sometimes you show up like crap. It's not did you want to but it's like literally the best that you can do. You know, when we say my best is good enough, if we feel like crap. Our best is good enough, but we could be so much better if we handled it and took care of ourselves like we should have. So let's not go back and regret. But let's start today. First things first, drink enough water, like literally the things in your body cannot operate. Also your brain is made up of
98% water. So if you're dehydrated, I think it's 98% it's something really high. But if you're not hydrated, what do you think is gonna happen? Do you think you're gonna be able to think clearly do you think you're gonna be creative? No, you're not. Second thing is sitting at your desk all day is not. Okay. That's how my first back injury happened was from sitting at my desk. And what I found was having two different
things. Number one, if you need to sit, don't sit on a chair, like so I have a kneeling, I have a kneeling chair, which is really good for lower lower back support and almost like rocks, you're never in like a steel motion. And then also like an exercise ball, think about sitting on something like that, because that'll also stabilize your core. I am not health and fitness expert. I'm just telling
you what I've learned. But also my standup desk serves and supports me a lot, we're a really good supportive shoe or have like one of those. Those rugs that kind of takes the pressure off, but like you stand
up, don't sit down all day. And also side note, just to help you with your video content, you show up so much more energetic, when you stand up anyhow, you're going to move your arms more, and your hands more and people are going to be more attracted to that type of energy than sitting down behind a desk sidenote, so take care of you, you will never regret the time and the investment that you have
in your health. And this is just a public service announcement from somebody who has been in both places, a really good healthy state and a really poor healthy state. And I don't want you to be there because I know what effect it has on you and your business and your body and your creativity and your energetics and your energy you put out which all flows into how you make money. So let's not
limit ourselves. Let's take care of ourselves so that we can do the things we need to to make an impact and really serve and support our audience and grow the business of our dreams.
