Last night I took my daughter and four of her friends to go see the Taylor Swift movie , and we also went and saw Taylor Swift Live in July . So this was a very different experience .

But also , like , who's mad about sitting in a movie theater with easily accessible bathrooms that you don't have to walk up steps for , especially if you had floor seats , and also the room was the perfect temperature . It was like so hot and humid when we went in on July 1st and so , and then this big , huge storm came and it was the saw , this chaos .

We have so many memories . I'm not mad about that , but I'm just gonna say seeing it in a movie theater was very comfortable , it was very cool . I got the proximity of being in the real life thing and I also got the experience in the movie theater and so both were like really , really good .

And I think , first of all you know this is very smart marketing when we think about it , because , first of all , she's already doing the concert . Right , she's already doing the concert . It's kind of like that one-on-one proximity , or can we break it up for the more of the masses ?

So you've got more proximity if you could go to the concert , but we all know how hard those tickets were to get , where we're making the movie theater more accessible so that everybody can experience it , and it's a 20 , well , I don't know how much all the tickets are . Ours were $23 , right .

So it just she's literally taking it from a one-on-one close proximity program to a group program , right , where more people can have access to it in a recorded format . And I think this is just this like beautiful thing , because in the online space sometimes I think we think , oh , that's weird . No , it's not , it's absolutely brilliant .

It's like when I did my whole secret offer , when I got my tickets , I had no idea where the tickets were gonna be . I said I'll spend up to this amount . Ticket master sent me an email and said hey , you got these seats . I didn't even realize they were floor seats until I pulled up the map . I was like we have floor seats .

Like , oh my God , I'm freaking out , like , because I was willing to pay that amount to get nosebleeds , right . I had no idea where they would be . And so it is this like beautiful thing .

But also while I was watching the concert , because I obviously saw it in person , in real life , and then I saw the recording and I talk about this a lot when it comes to marketing and when it comes to our messaging .

And I think a lot of times we get very lax when it comes to our messaging , like we aren't feeling as convicted when we have to repeat our messaging over and over . And you wanna know how somebody like Taylor Swift has so many raving fans ?

It's because every single lyric of every single song she sings it like she means it , like the same feelings come up and whether they do or not , I don't know if this is true , but literally she puts so much conviction into every single lyric she sings and you can feel that whether you're at the concert with her or whether you're watching the movie , right , and

you can say , oh well , she was just like that from the movie . No , she's like that on every TikTok that everybody records , on every arena that she has been in , like , go look at those videos . And I think that's a lot of times what happens to us as business owners . We get tired of saying the same thing .

We forget about the conviction that we felt when we said it , maybe a year ago , right , and so we don't put the same emphasis in it , we don't put the same love and care into our messaging when we put it out there into our audience . And it's very sad . Yes , it happens , it's the way life is . We have a million things going on and I get it .

But those who are creating more raving fans are creating that conviction type messaging . Right , they're very convicted in the words that they say . They mean what they say . They're not just saying things to say it , they're not just putting content out there to check a box , like they feel very convicted in everything they put out there .

And again we can say , oh , she's gonna pay the big bucks , that's why she can do that , but she was doing that before she was getting paid the big bucks , so it was just why she's getting paid the big bucks . You know , it's kind of like the same thing when people say , well , I have like less than 100 people on my email list .

Okay , well , they don't know that it's not reply all or send to all , like literally it's through an email system , right , they don't know how many people you're seeing that email to , nor do they care .

But if we want a thousand people on our email list , we got to treat the 100 like we already got a thousand , right , and like they like we mean it , like like we care about them to not we don't care about you . Until we get to a thousand , then I'll start emailing my list like it's really being intentionally Invicted .

I was watching rewatching the Kardashian's with Ava tonight and , again , whatever you want to think of her , think of her , but Kim Kardashian was talking about her businesses and she was just like I feel the conviction . Again , we're missing this piece . So many people's content is missing this piece when they put it out on social media . The conviction isn't there .

It's like I want you to pay attention to me and Sometimes it's very , very strange , right , and it's very , very obvious that it's like please pay attention to me .

But when you can literally ground yourself in your messaging , when you can ground yourself in the way that you feel and the , the passion that you feel for the person that you want to help on the other end of that video or the other end of the screen , or the person who's who's scrolling through your newsfeed , again , potency , conviction , passion , purpose , like

you mean it , it's going to land differently and I can tell you I scroll through my feed every single day and , yes , obviously I follow more than business owners .

But I can see so many business owners just half asking it all and it's sad Because I know they're brilliant , I know they're amazing and maybe they're just tired , maybe they just don't feel it in that moment and we're all gonna post content where we don't feel it in that moment .

But if we're posting content like we don't feel it in that moment , more than the moments that we feel it , there is a major disconnect there and we get to again . We get to go back , we get to think about why am I doing what I'm doing ? Am I still passionate about this ? How can I find my passion again ? How can I dig deep ?

How can I think about my story ? How can I think about my transformation ? How can I think about what got me here and what keeps me going , what's going to keep me going ? Because if we don't , we're gonna burn out really fast and we're gonna fizzle out and never gonna make a Difference anyhow , right , because we just don't really mean it .

You know , I think when we have nine to fives you know , not everyone first , follow me clear that , but not everyone , but a lot of us when we had nine device , we , literally we went in because we had to clock in or prove that we were there right To do the work , collect a paycheck and go home .

That's why so many people want their own business , because they have so much passion and it's not being fulfilled in the nine to five and they want to find another outlet to fulfill that . So again , taylor Swift Hater or lover . Kim Kardashian hater or lover they're both very convicted in their messaging .

They're both mean what they say , like they're putting stuff out there that they really mean and they really stand behind . And when can we adopt more of that into our content strategy ? Where whom we adopt more of that and how we show up online , because that's the content that's gonna grab attention . That's the content that people are gonna pay attention to .

The question is are you tapping into that Before you press go live ? Are you tapping into that before you record a tic-tac ? Are you tapping into that before you sit down and write a long form post ? Or are you just like Let me throw something up today Just to see what happens ? But I'm not really tapping into what I'm saying .

I'm not really convicted by what I'm saying . Every morning I get up and I do read my memories . Every single day I go through my memories . Rarely , rarely do I post the exact same posts , copy and paste word for word . I almost always change it . First of all , I've evolved a lot and a year ago a lot happened . But also I'm convicted in a different way .

I mean it in a different way . I'm passionate in a different way . So I wanna update that feeling .

I wanna update how I felt in that moment , like a year ago when I wrote that , and sometimes I'm not feeling it in that moment , so I put it in my phone and like , let's go back to this later , and then I might be sitting on my phone and looking and being like , oh my God , like I'm so feeling this now , like now I'm gonna post this .

This is why I don't schedule content like I used to . Nothing wrong scheduling content be consistent . However , I love posting when I am convicted in a moment . I love creating video content when I'm convicted in a moment . I love , when I feel it , that I can show up and share with you exactly how I feel and you get to decide how you receive that .

You get to decide if you receive that right . It is a very , very beautiful thing . So how can we be more convicted in our messaging ? How can we show up more like we mean it ? How can we pull the passion that we know we have deep down inside of us out before we show up online , before we write that post , before we create that video ?
