When it comes to creating momentum, it's more than just doing a single task every single day, for 21 days to create that habit, and then 30 days because they got a month in and 60 days, because, oh, I'm not two months and 90 days, like, it's so much more than that. Because at some point, if we're just repeating the task every single day, right? And whether we want to call it checking a box, or I'm doing it, are we improving? is
my question. So anywhere that you look, momentum is like, you know, getting that, let's say, for example, that, you know, you're pushing a car, I don't know how many of you have tried to push a car I've tried to help my husband for it wasn't the funnest thing in the world. But if you're pushing a car, and you actually get it moving, the last thing you want to do is that car
to stop. Because if that car stops, it is gonna be so much harder to get it going again, like if you're pushing a car that that's not running or something. So the same thing is true when we, when we start creating our own momentum, whether it's in content visibility, or whatever, right? But also, you when you're pushing a car, and you're getting it going and it's moving, you're actually gonna start pushing it harder, right? And then, and then somebody's going to be in it steering it
right when it's in neutral. So we want to think about, are we like, let's say, I'm getting on video, I'm getting on video every single day. It's easy. It's easy. It's easy, have creative momentum, but have you really created momentum, if you aren't increasing what you're doing. Meaning I don't have to be on video longer, or I don't have to do two videos a day. No, that's not what I'm meaning I'm meaning how are we pushing ourselves? How are we creating uncomfortable actions in the
momentum? Because not only do we want to create momentum, but we want to grow, right? And at first maybe doing the thing over and over. And it's uncomfortable, because we're not getting instantaneous results, right? So maybe that's the uncomfortable thing at first. And then maybe it's like, okay, I you know, and I'm going to use video and visibility all the time, because it's just way easier to talk about. But let's say I've done all these live videos, and then okay, I'm never
I never show emotion, right? So it's like, okay, I get to talk about something really vulnerable. This is really uncomfortable for me. But you know, I want to show my audience, the other sides of me, not just the Happy Go standing up delivering my speech, or training kind of vibe, right. But I also want to show you that show them I'm a real person, and show them the things that I've been through and talk about that. And then we add another layer, and we talk about a time
when we failed, right? And then we add another layer, and maybe we you know, talk about something we don't agree with. Maybe it's a little activating to our audience, which could be triggering to others. And then you know, I'm getting uncomfortable, because I'm talking about something that I really strongly believe in. I know that, you know, some people are going to be activated by this meaning they're like, yeah,
yeah. And I want to make the movement to and then other people are going to be triggered by it and like, maybe unfollow me. But am I can I do that? Can I handle that rejection at the same time that I'm pumping other people? The next thing is, can I get clear on my messaging? Can I get clear on who I'm talking to? Like, it's like, getting visible is great. And we create this consistent action and we create this movement and we create this momentum. But then we get better. We're gonna get better
naturally, just doing it. And then we pour into ourselves to get better. Okay, well, I just learned how to do this. So I'm going to do this, or I just learned that I don't talk about this enough to my audience. So I get to do this, or I just learned a new skill. And I implemented it. And I've never talked about this before. And I can't wait to share this with my audience, even though it scares the crap out of me. Right? So it's like, how can we keep
building on that? When I did, again, I will always preface this with Do not try this at home. I don't think we need to do 200 videos in a month. But because it was a KPI and a challenge I gave myself I did it right. I succeeded. Never gonna do it again. There was no point to it. 100 videos a month. Great. 200 No. But one of the things that I gave myself this rule and I was like, you can't report or you can't like, like go live from stream yard multiple places at the same
time. Do you know how I would go to Twitter it's so fast by doing it that way. But no, I had to do a video every single place. So what I started doing was so I would go live my Facebook group and then I would go live and my personal page and my business page and my Instagram and I don't know if you've ever done the math but like to hit 200 Live videos in 30 days. You've got to do about six videos. a day, six live videos a day. That's a lot. And then you get behind, and then you're at eight
videos a day. And then you get behind again, and then you're at 10 videos a day. Let me just say I am this person pick up behind because I thought I could do all this. And then I was like scrambling. But anyhow, what I would do was, I would start, I would talk about a subject in like, my free group, and then I would go to my personal page, and then I would go to my business page, and it was the same subject, right? But all I
did was perfect it. Now, some people might be like, Why are you talking about the same thing? What I never said the same way. I was going live every single time I didn't have a script. I was like, I want to make these points. I want to talk about these things. And then by the fourth one, that day, right, I have some story that shoots in my head like squirrel that I never even thought to talk about on video
one. So by the time I've done the sixth video that day, about the same subject, I have gotten deeper, I have gotten more on point I have perfected that. So a lot of times we're afraid to talk about something over and over. But number one, nobody ever complained. Because nobody saw all six to 10 of those videos I did in one day. Like it was just impossible. I there was too much. And there's so much
noise, right? So I want you to think when you're creating momentum and when you're doing something like how can you refine it? How can you get better? It's gonna take uncomfortable actions for sure, right? Otherwise we just stay the same and who wants stagnant momentum? Not me. I want true momentum, momentum that's going to push me momentum that's going to help me excel momentum that's going to transform my life and make an impact on those that I'm here to serve.
