Today I had the opportunity to do a program-wide Q&A .

It was for the moment , but I am , like so happy because there were some really really good questions , and I want to go over one of the questions that seemed to be redundant and was something that a lot of different people had similar questions about , which means that my audience probably has the same questions as well , and the questions I got were like how to

grow following and also like the best time to post , and then group questions , and the first thing that I want to say is that you are your best marketer for your business and you get to believe that deep down in your soul , like you get to believe that no one is going to love your business more than you and no one is going to love your people more than

you , and you get to believe that what you do is life changing . And I've said this before and I'm never going to stop saying it because I think people hear me say that and I don't know that they're really on board .

So I want you to say right now , out loud in your car , why you're doing the dishes , why you're doing laundry , why you're doing something right .

Whatever you're doing , I want you to stop and say what I do is life changing , and I want you to think about all the things that you do that change people's lives , because if I can get you on board with that , I can get you on board with a lot of things , but all of it really starts there .

The second thing is that , obviously , to grow a business , we get to put out amazing content , and this episode is not about how to put out amazing content We've done that before and but really it's you being your best marketer , you being your best content creator and really getting and understanding your audience right If they're not problem aware .

Helping them be problem aware If they don't know that there's a solution for what they're going through . Talking about that like being very open and honest , but also sharing your transformation story and who you are .

And that's one of the things that I want to talk about in the upcoming program Iconic , because so many of us think , well , I'm visible , but we're not getting deep enough .

We're very superficial , visible , but we're not deep the visible , and so that's one thing that I really want to start helping my audience to do right , like no one was telling me that they were afraid of getting on video and all that stuff . So I became her right .

It became the person that I needed , and I want you to understand , too , that there are multi facets of our business that get to be visible and it's gonna look different for everyone . And that is how you grow a following . But also being consistent , right .

Being consistently visible , getting on video as much as humanly possible , because it is the fastest driver if you truly want to grow right . If you want to grow following on Instagram , your best bet right now is Reels or getting on the Explorer page in a carousel or something like that , but most people are doing that through Reels .

If you want to grow your personal Facebook page , whether it's personal or professional , it's still Reels . That's still the answer right . If you want to grow your YouTube channel YouTube shorts . If you want to grow your Pinterest , it's idea pins , like right now those are the driving factors that are gonna grow your business .

If you want to grow your TikTok , you're better off to have 15 second or less videos . Now , this is my opinion , this is what I've seen , this is my experience . Always use discernment if you're seeing growth somewhere else , but this is for the people that are struggling with the growth , the people that are struggling growing their following .

And someone said something about views dropping , and here's the thing I used to be so consumed by views .

I used to be so consumed by follower numbers and I left an over 10,000 Instagram account because I was so focused and I didn't realize how many other people were so focused on that too , because when I said I'm gonna leave this account , I'm starting over , people looked at me like I was crazy . You worked so hard for that like they couldn't understand .

It was almost like they thought that I was I'm doing air quotes right now that I was something special because I had an over 10,000 Instagram following . And again , there were many ways that I did that right , but those were not my people .

They were no longer my people and I just I don't deal in the number game anymore and as somebody who it's a visibility queen , maybe that's hard for people to comprehend , but I just don't deal with that number game . I don't care about views . My views are pretty steady everywhere and , no , I don't go viral , I go mini viral , but that's not the point .

The point is is that my content connects with my person and if I need to , if I'm only growing . Let's just say this . Let's just say that my content is growing one person at a time . My content grows one person at a time . I'm okay with that . So instead it wins the race . I don't need a million people to watch my content .

I need one person to understand that what I'm saying to them right there in that moment is for them . How do you build a business ? One cell at a time , right ? So why would I be upset that it's one piece of content per one person at a time ? Yes , of course it's probably more than that , but that's okay .

And so when we have this numbers game and when we have this , what's the best time to post ? Well , any platform will tell you what their definition of the best time to post is . They'll give you suggestions . But my personal opinion is , if you're scheduling , maybe that's a little bit more important . But I would try every time and literally see what works .

But I don't schedule my content , and I do think people should schedule their content if it helps them be consistent . Don't get me wrong , but I don't look at the time when I post . I don't look at the time . The only thing that is scheduled every single , like 99.5% of the time the podcast is scheduled for 4 am Eastern time .

Almost always , that is the one consistent thing that I do , and I'm recording this episode at 9.45 the night before and it's because it was on my heart and I don't force it . I don't come in here and be like , ugh , what am I going to talk about ? I get inspired .

So I go through my notes , I go through the things that I've talked about today and I really just truly get inspired and then the inspiration comes . And then here you go . Right , it's the same thing with my content . I'm not forcing my content . If I post it 6 am , that's great . If I post it noon , that's great .

If I post it 9 o'clock at night , that's also great , because who that content is for is going to land . I believe that they're going to see it and I can't believe it any other way . Yes , we love to see increase in our analytics .

Yes , we love to see growth , but sometimes we can become so focused on growth , we can become so focused on our bank account that we can't see the impact that we're making . And to me , impact doesn't have to be huge and viral . It can be very slow and steady and , again , I'm okay with that .

So to grow your platforms Reels , short form video is pretty much the case across platforms . If you want to create communities , you get to be consistent , right , you get to be consistent , and I don't mean like a Facebook group , but I mean true communities .

On any platform , you have a community of people that start following you and they believe in you and we call them raving fans and you get to show up consistently for them . Because you know what , when you are consistent , that looks different for everyone , but I'm saying every single day showing up in some capacity .

When you are consistent , then people look at your content and they're like , oh my gosh , she's doing this for free every single day . What happens when I pay her ? What happens when I join the program ? Right , it's a whole different ball game .

The other thing is is that , when it comes to Facebook groups , the problem that people are lacking is the searchability . Facebook groups are really hugely ran on social media . They are really hugely ran on searchability between the name of your group and also the description . And if you want to grow your group , it can't be called Chrissy's Crazies , like .

It just can't . Nobody knows what that is right . So it's not a fun name . My Facebook group is Visibility Impact Igniting Business Growth . Sorry , let me say that again Visibility Impact Igniting Business Growth . And Strategies for Raving Fans . People search visibility , people search impact , people search , business growth , people search strategies .

I don't know if they're searching raving fans yet , but a lot of people are starting to get on board with that word and that verbiage and I'm okay with that . Then my description has a lot of CEO , marketing , social media , business owner , entrepreneur .

It has a lot of those words in it , again , that people are going to be searching for , but also it's words that Facebook understands so that they can recommend .

When I know that my SEO , my search ability , is good , when people respond to my three questions and one of the answers is I found you through search or Facebook recommended you , your group , to me , and I know that I'm doing it right . And if you really want to grow a group , that's like the best way to do it .

But again , public facing platforms get to be grown through short form video , because it is the priority at the time I'm recording this podcast , which is in August of 2023 . Will that look the same in 60 days ?

I don't know , but right now that's how you grow and also a reason why we have real set convert , even for introverts , because it's all about converting views to followers and followers to raving fans and raving fans to future clients .

And it was really important for me to create this program because so many people are making it so difficult to create reels and short form video or they're only doing trending sounds and your audience would love to see more than that . You're going to build connection deeper if they can see more than that .

Yeah , there can be some fun and there can be some grabbing my attention with the trending sounds , but what are the words you're saying to them when you have 15 , 30 seconds to speak to their soul , to speak to their pain points , to speak to what they really desire ?

That's what we get to be using short form video for , and I will drop the link in the show notes and , whether you're listening this live or later , it'll still be available for you . So join us in reels that convert for introverts and I cannot wait to support you with your short form video game .
