If you were to ask me what I'm going to be doing to really prepare for the rest of the fourth quarter , we have 83 days . If you're watching this live or listening to this live , we have 83 days .
Maybe less than 80 days when you listen to this , but we still have plenty of time , and what I see so often is that , well , first , second and third quarter did not go the way that I wanted .
So I'm just going to give up and I'm going to start on first quarter of 2024 , strong and fresh , and I'll be ready to go and here is where the mistake happens right , even if you still don't reach your goals that you want which I do believe you can in 2023 , everything you do right now , you are setting yourself up for success , the first quarter of 2024 .
And that is huge , and I think we get to remember that . And so I want to take you through what I'm going to be doing and what I will be suggesting everybody in all my programs and my clients be doing as well , because I think this is so important when it comes to growing our business and finishing this year strong Again , hopefully reaching your goals .
That's always what we want , but , even so , setting our 2024 up for success . So the first thing I would do is I would tighten my content . I would tighten my content , I would post like I mean it .
I would post like I love my content , because I do love my content right , and so I don't want to participate in all the other noise going online and if you did , she's Everywhere . The free masterclass I did . I'm going to share something with you .
So this is kind of the stuff that happens every 60 seconds online 66,000 photos and videos are being shared on Instagram , 10.4 million viewing minutes on Instagram , 140,000 users are visiting a business page on Instagram , 510,000 comments are being posted on Facebook every single minute , 293,000 statuses are updated every 60 seconds , 167 million TikTok videos are viewed
every single minute . 5.7 million Google searches happen every minute , 18.8 million texts are being sent every minute , for over $4,000 is being spent on Amazon every single second and 694,000 video hours are viewed every 60 seconds .
Now , I'm not sharing this with you to freak you out and to stress you out , but to let you know there is a lot of competition or there's a lot of noise online . I don't believe there's a lot of competition because I do not believe everyone is in it for the right reasons . Let me say that again . There is a lot of noise online .
There is not a lot of competition because not everyone is in it for the right reasons . If you are in it for the right reasons , if you are in it to serve and support your person right and you're not in it only to increase your bank account , you are going to have more success .
You're going to have that passion to come through if you allow that passion to drive the content strategy that you're putting out there . It is so crucial that , if you have not nailed your content strategy , that you find a way to do that , because that is how you're going to end this year strong and again set yourself up for success in 2024 .
Your daily content builds your business and if you are not taking that as serious as you should , it's time to rethink it . And here's the thing I am a content strategist . I've been creating content since 2012 . I will never , ever be stopped improving Ever .
I think you should up your content game at minimum once a year , but I think you should relook at it every single quarter . It is that vital to your success as an online business owner . It is that vital to your success as an e-commerce or a freaking mortar business .
It is that vital that you are consistently upping your content game , just like you're upping your sales game and your launch game and everything else . All of those things are very , very important .
If you have not updated your content strategy , if you have not ever worked to improve your content strategy , it's time to start , because I believe , consistently , you should be attracting raving fans every single day . You should be attracting new ones and you should be converting the ones that you already have on your feed . You're already followers .
You should be converting them . Number one that's the number one thing I would do to finish 2023 strong . Number two I would show up as consistently as possible on video . It is crucial that you show your face . Our faces build like no one trust so much stronger than anything else that we can do .
You can tell by this video if I really mean what I'm saying or if I'm literally telling you one thing and I'm doing another . I can tell you that I came on this video to tell you about this because I am so freaking convicted . I want to give you this knowledge for free because I want you to have success .
I want you to reach your goals in the fourth quarter , even if you've done nothing that you wanted in quarter one , two and three . It is still possible . You're not too late in the game . So are we going to show up on video ? Are we going to get visible ? That is so important .
It builds like no trust faster than anything else can when it comes to social media and all that noise we talked about a minute ago . All right , number three , I would work on my belief , I would work on my certainty and I would work on my knowing every single day . And that means not listening to the mean girl on your head telling you can't do something .
That means not listening to your brain who is trying to keep you safe . It means going out there and knowing and believing that you are the ish , my friend , that what you do and what you do for your audience and you have for your audience , will serve and support them to change their own life in some way . But you have to believe that first .
You can't expect your audience to believe that and to be on board if you don't believe that first . It is the unsexiest work ever , don't get me wrong . It's not sexy . But you know what is sexy . Knowing you're the ish and then the cells follow , that's sexy . Standing in your personal power and people feel that energy and they want to be in your proximity .
Feeling that energy and wanting what it is you have to offer , wanting to learn from you that's sexy , all right . Number four I would find a way to stretch my comfort zone every single day , every single freaking day . And here's the thing A lot of people think because I do some crazy things . You don't have to do crazy things like I do .
Stretching your comfort zone every single day Do you know what that means ? That means when you don't feel like posting a piece of content , post a piece of content anyhow . That means when you don't want to walk up the stairs . You'd rather take the elevator , take the stairs .
It doesn't always work just in your business , but pushing and stretching ourselves every little opportunity we get . It does have to be some big thing like 100 live videos in a month . You don't have to do crazy things like that . You don't have to bungee jump .
You don't have to literally go from selling like never selling or never putting out a sales post to posting a sales post every single day . You go to one a week and then two a week . Stretching yourself doesn't mean I'm like literally like bungee jumping and giving myself the major anxiety that comes with that .
It means that I am stretching that comfort zone a little bit every single day , a little bit more , a little bit more , a little bit more . 80% of our results come for 20% of our actions . I don't need you to do something crazy . I just need you to do a little teeny comfort zone stretch every single day . Stretch it out like you stretch your body .
Number five goes along with what I just said . But five is I would sell something every single day . If you're like no , I cannot do that . Chrissy , are you crazy ? Well , first of all , let me give you permission , because you are a business owner and this is not a hobby .
Therefore , you are allowed to sell every single day and it serves and supports your audience when you do that , because then there's an exchange of energy and they really mean it when they buy .
If you're like , no way , I'm not selling every single day , here's what I would say , because that might be too much for some people who don't sell ever at all , I would say try three days a week . Try selling three days a week . You don't even have to sell on your feed . Sell on your stories . After you've created raving fans .
They're going to your stories anyhow . Sell on your email list , but just try it three days a week If you're like , why don't you even email my list that many times ? Do it in a PS at the bottom . Make it really simple . We think that everything has to be just this big , huge , scary thing .
If we just do little things , little things start coming back to us . Little things start happening . But the question is are you going to do these five things ? Tighten your content strategy . Love your content and mean it when you put it out there .
Show up as consistently as possible on video and getting visible , working on your beliefs , certainty and your knowing , and stop listening to your brain . Who's just trying to protect you . It's trying to keep you safe . But you're fine . You've got this . Number four stretch your comfort zone every single day . Number five sell every single day .
If that's way too much , then let's start with three days a week . Who's got this ? Who feels that this is possible ? Who feels that they can go and start this right now ? Yes , I'm doing this live on a Monday night and you can absolutely get up tomorrow morning and start this on a Tuesday .
Come back and watch this again and again , and again and again , and get your motivation on and go do the thing . Finish fourth quarter strong Again , even if you don't hit your goals , which I believe that you will come so much closer if you do these things .
Really do them , but it will set your first quarter 2024 up for so much success and that's what I want for you . Who's in ? Are you doing all five ? Are you doing four of the five ? Are you doing three of the five ? Are you doing two of the five ? If you're only doing one , tighten your content strategy , 100% tighten your content strategy .
