I feel like a lot of times in business, we are looking for the wrong thing, we're looking for these external things that are not necessarily going to serve us and support the business and the way that we think, or we think that certain things are going to save our business. And this goes for multiple things. And so some people might feel the heat here.

And it's funny, because I've done all of these roles before, and I can see where people thought that it was gonna save them, and it was gonna save everything in it truly didn't, because all of these things I'm going to talk about our assets, and they're great to have, but they are not make or break businesses, almost never. And that is completely under our control. Almost always. And so the first thing is, I used to be

a VA back in the day. And I see so many people hiring a VA thinking this is this is it, this is what's gonna save my business. But the time that they save it, the VA, they don't invest, and doing the things that they wanted to do, or invest in the money making, moving the needle activities or doing the things that they need to do, they literally just find something else to fill that time

with. And, again, the whole premise is you're hiring VA, and you're thinking, this is this is this means I made it, this means I'm gonna, I'm like, this is how I'm going to prove and show everyone that that this is going to change my business around. And again, it's all in that premise. And I think we there's nothing wrong with having a VA or something like that. But when we say this is going to change everything, it's really not, because that is in your control.

And the next thing I see is drives me so crazy, and I've seen past clients do this is that as soon as I get a logo, I've made it. I've made it when I have a logo and I'm like, Oh my God, no, no, nobody is building relationships with your logo. Like I used to make logos, I still make logos for a couple of clients, because I've just done it for so long. And they're used to me and I'm it's easy for me to do it for them because I know their branding. But a logo is an asset, it is an added

bonus to your business. No logo is going to make your business it's gonna make people buy. It's just not. It's cool. And branding is cool. And it helps that'd be an identifier to who you are. But it is not the priority of what you need. When you first start your business. Your audience gets to build a relationship with you, not a freaking logo or your colors. Again, it can be an identifier, it can help you be recognized. But you get to show up first so people even know who you are.

The next thing I've heard over and over is a website. As soon as I get it, I can't make any money because I have a website. And as someone who also used to create websites, I've seen this and I'm like, where's your traffic driver? Like? How are you gonna drive traffic to this website? You just don't create a website and people come yes, there's SEO, and there's all these things that can help you

be more searchable. But you still get to find a way whether it's SEO or showing up on social media, or being visible doing video or whatever it is, you still have to initiate the traffic driving activities that are going to happen. It is so simple to create a PayPal link. Talk about your offer. Like people feel themselves in your offer and see that transformation for themselves and go by. And I've proven that with every cash injection I do every cash injection I do. I

don't create a landing page. I don't create a website. I don't create anything. I create a new PayPal link. It's it. It's simple. It's easy. Yes, I do have a website. But I can also sell it the PayPal link to end dropping it in the DMS or dropping it in an email. Totally, super easy. And again, we make it mean something that we don't have a website or that we don't have a logo or that we don't have a VA when at the end of the day, there is a time in place for all of those things.

The next thing I see is social media managers like I'll be able to sell more once I get a social media person. Here's the thing as somebody who is deep into social media with a lot of clients, you get to find your voice first. Nobody can find your voice for you. You can to practice using your own voice showing up in big ways. And then a social media person can take that over absolutely continue that conversation in the way

that you would. But until you show up as you until you show up with your message and talking to your ideal person, it's gonna be really hard for somebody to emulate that, because you've never done it. I have had people do my content before, mostly repurposing. And I took it all back in first quarter of 2022. Because I was like, this is it's not me, and I don't like it. It's behind my messaging, what I'm talking about, because I am

very fast paced. I am launching new things all the time, and I wanted to all be very congruent and relevant. And so I took it back, and I didn't see a drop. I didn't see a hit. Yes, I still probably put out more content than most people. But I can repurpose my own stuff, too. And I'm really good at it. I teach it. But, again, so many people, like what's the first thing you want to do? Or if you had $10,000, your best friend? Oh, would you I would hire social media. Okay, that's not going to

serve you. I mean, yes, it's going to take something off your plate, but is really is really gonna help you sell. Because what are you gonna do fill that time, you still get to show up. My best clients are the ones that when I did their social media, they still showed up. They didn't back down, they showed up even more, we were a

team. The same thing when I was when I was, you know, when I do strategy, marketing strategy or social media strategy, when the client is an active participant in the marketing and active participant in the visibility. That is when we win, that is when we're hitting multiple six and seven figure businesses. When I look back at my business, and I've been all those things, right for others, and I've been those things for myself, and I've hired those things for

myself. And I've realized, nobody can change the trajectory of my business except me. And the biggest and best investments I've made, were not in VA support, or help somebody have me on social media, or even somebody that I recently paid to do my websites, I didn't have the capacity to do it. None of that serve me as much as long term term, long term, and high level mentorship. Long term and high level mentorship, whether that's in a group program, like a mastermind or inner circle, or

one on one support. That is where the changes happen. That is where the growth happens. That is where you are walking with someone who has done this stuff before and dealt with this stuff before, so that you can fast track your way through it. Plain and simple. If you are coachable, they can't do it for you. If you are coachable if you are led easily lead to make these moves because you get to execute and you get to implement right. That is where I see the most success. I am very

coachable. I do things on the fly. I do things very fast. I typically don't ask permission. I don't wait. And the longer I wait. I think it was a quote I read, the longer you sit on an idea that Emmerich sounds. And I think that's the way with so many of us in the entrepreneurial world. The longer we sit on something, the DeMars ounce time to stop sitting on stuff. If you've been thinking I should hire a mentor, I should hire a or join a mastermind or inner circle. It's

time. This is the best time right now. Whether you're listening to this live at the end of the year, or you're listening this any other time. The best time is now I have never been ready. I have never felt financially secure enough to say yes to any of these things and in my revenue that I'm bringing in, but I did it and it's always worked. I can never promise you're going to 10x and investment but I can say I have it's all on what you do

with what you get. I never forget the time when I first joined a mastermind I thought being in proximity, which being around people who are doing really well does automatically lift you up and help you so much. But I thought that it was going to be so much more than it was I was like oh yeah, I gotta do the work. Oh, yeah, I got to do work. Oh, yeah, I get to do the work. Oh, yeah, I'm gonna do the work right? Because I want to see those results too.

And so my best advice is, stop waiting on the logo, stop waiting on the website, stop waiting on whatever it is that you're waiting on that you think is holding you back and realizing it To you, it's me, we hold ourselves back. Because we're not getting the leadership or not getting the direction, we're not getting the strategy. We're not getting the mentorship that our business and we as

women truly need. So if you are looking for mentorship, if you are looking for a long term container, if you are looking for an inner circle to join, the doors are open, I am here, I am ready to chat about it. You can always message me on Instagram, you can always reach out to me on Facebook tick tock, wherever

you are. And we can chat about this further because I know what I've been through I know the support I have given others and I know that as a resource, as an extension of your business as a partner of your business, how much I can help you get where you want to go, how much support I can give you and all the mentorship that you need to make that next step and hit that next level.
