He posts all the things so that you can create a raving fan audience there, make sure you check it out visibility queen.com Today is like a dear diary episode, I'm coming off of two days of workshopping with my inner circle. So I don't know where this is gonna go. So I'm just we're gonna just chat. So there's no real subject or keyword or whatever you want to call it to this podcast episode. But I have a lot of feelings. And I'm feeling all the feels
right now. So I just want to get it out. And this is like the perfect time to we're at the end of the day to work or the two day workshop. And I just want to say that it's funny I every workshop I do. And a lot of trainings that I do. I have this agenda, right. So I have this agenda done. And it's very fluid and learning more about my human design, maybe this is why I know this. Now this works better. I also don't typically prepare for speeches, I have a couple of things I want to say every time
I prepare for it. I literally cook go. So off script and so off to left field, it's not even funny. But I just have this feeling and I don't really know how to explain it. Maybe it's you know, being a little just empathetic and feeling that the fields and you know, filling the room, right the vibe of the room. And so one of the things I asked every time I do an event or or a two day workshop or something like that. What are your goals? What do you want to get out of this these two days together?
What do you want to walk away with? And some people say I have no expectations. I'm just ready, you know, to be poured into, I'm my hair ready, accept everything. And then some people have more specific things. And so the reason I always ask this question is because I want to make sure, it's not always possible. First of all, let me just throw that out there that I can get as many things accomplished in the time we have together as I possibly can. Now, I have small intimate
containers. So that is a lot easier for me to do. Versus if I had 50 people in a room, right? That would be really hard to please everybody. I could go with the majority. Sure. But so I have this agenda. And I have this outline set out, I have all these things I want to talk about. But then I read the room, we talk about it. And then I realized, okay, I'm hearing, there needs to be more on implementation in this today.
And so we're gonna make sure we implement, because it's almost like the gift that keeps giving. I am one of those people that I have CEO days built into my week, right? Not everybody has that luxury. A lot of my students and in my programs, they also work a full time job, right. And here's the thing, a lot of them don't want to leave their full time job, that's not a goal. Like they love their full time jobs. They just want their side hustle to also be
successful. Right. And so, you know, I think, you know, for me, it's a little bit different cars, I have the time to implement, I walk away from a conference and I you know, have like my notes of what I'm going to implement what I'm going to do. And not everybody has that luxury. So when I can give them time to implement right then and there. They walk away with the gift. I gave them the gift of time and the gift of implementation and they walk away with something done. And
that is multiple things. Right? So it's a gift right because you have it completed. But also, if that's been bugging you, if that's been stressing you out. If that's been making you feel like you can't go forward because you haven't gotten it done or you know sometimes I feel like we have this procrastination feeling like I know I need to get this done. And it just hangs and it just weighs on us and it pushes down on our shoulders and it makes
everything feel heavy. We know we need to do it, we just haven't done it right. And so really nothing else gets done, or nothing else gets done to its fullest. Because we know in the back of our minds, we have this other thing we got to do, or we should be doing or whatever we tell ourselves. So I think that was a good feeling. Because I love to teach. And I could just keep going and going and going and going. And I realized reading the room, let's get
let's get some stuff done. Let's get some things accomplished. Again, I don't know that I fully got everything that they wanted completed. But I think we did a really good job of getting the majority of it completed. And, you know, I always want to take it like the next step. And show them how we can make this easier. One of the things that we did are this, we did a we did
a field trip. And I showed them how a lot of times we think I can't get on video, I can't get a video today, I can't get a video because I don't look, I'm not video ready or I don't feel like it or I bags that arise or a black dark circles or my hair's a mess. I don't feel like you know, wearing a hat, something we're we tell ourselves all kinds of things. So what I wanted to do was to make sure that a lot of times, I mean, obviously I think visibility should be at some point your face.
I think everybody has different levels of that, I do think, you know, I will say this over and over, I don't think you have to do video content. But I do think video content grows your brand, so much faster. Let me repeat that. It grows your brand so much faster, because you're giving people opportunity to either be attracted to you or repel them right away. And I think that's huge when it comes to building a business today because there's so much noise.
And the more that we can do to pull them in and be more magnetic, the better and it's hard harder to be magnetic in a text post right with no no photo or image of you and just a heavily graphic image. So I trying to remember where I was going with this you know, this is this is when I have no subject and nothing written down. This is what happens. Okay, so when we are ready to show our face another way to be visible
is by using our voice. And the one thing that I wanted them to take away is really practicing using their voice. And so we have this amazing tool these days, right? And on reels and Instagram and InShot right, and it's called Voiceover we can put our message on any video. It doesn't have to be our face. Which should make everyone listening to this right now. First of all videoing everything
you go by like grass. In the wind, I did a video of there were flowers and bushes and I didn't know it at the time there's above buzzing around and in the video, I turned the sound off but I just wrote like overtop of it and put it in my story that grabs people's attention is different, right you know you could video walking to pick your kid up from school, the bushes or something obviously don't video other little kids, especially if you're an influencer and you're
really popular we don't want you know, we don't have time to be getting sign off from parents to put them in your content. But like picking, you know, things I did today picking my kid up from school, you know, that could be your end of day all the things that you did. And that one thing just, you know, happened that day you walked by it and you videoed it. Like, we just make things so much harder than they
have to be. And when we recruit recap a day or we use something other than like a stock photo, or a plain black plain image. Background is what I was trying to say. When we use something that's us, it's just like how I say, Can we please don't use stock photos people can we please just take photos of you? Like, people know what a stock photo is? They just
know. Right? And you what you take a picture of even if it's not the best picture is going to resonate with your audience more than anything else. So I think all of these things again, there's so much knowledge we have in our heads. Okay. And I'm getting off track here. little bit by shoulder, there was no really one subject to this whole podcast. We have all this knowledge in our heads. And sometimes we don't think about what people don't know. People don't know what they don't know.
Right. And so when I took them on this field trip, you know, one of my inner circle members said the day after she's like, I thought, at first it was really silly. But then it was like, Okay, I get this. And it was kind of silly, but it was kind of like, awkward because I'm like, we're gonna go to field trip. Okay, get out your phones. Make sure all your phones are charged. We're gonna video stuff, but not our phases. And I
think they're like, what? We actually ended up video on our faces a little bit, but it's okay. We videoed our feet. We video bushes, we videoed walls we videoed, we did create a gifts, right, we did all these things. And we had a lot of fun. But anytime you introduce something new, it's going to be awkward to people, I think sometimes so.
But yeah, think about the things that you can teach your audience or you can teach your memberships or you can teach your programs that you just do every single day, and you don't even think about it. I video stuff all the time, all the time. And I don't think about it. You know, I went back to back in December. I don't know if I've talked about it on the podcast before or not. But my dear friend, Georgia, who is a brilliant woman. When I was in Hawaii, she taught us her
framework. And so it was her short form video framework. And I also teach it's my inner circle. And it's always called Georgia's framework, I do not I do not take credit for this. It is Georgia's framework. And that's just, it's what it's gonna be. It's George's framework, it's hers. But I started using it back in December. And I went to the selfie Museum, and I created all this content, without knowing a trending sound, without knowing what I was gonna say. I just did it.
And I created all this content. And these videos did really, really well. And so when I actually taught my inner circle back in February, but we needed a refresher, right. And then we got to implement it, get to actually not only to learn it, but implement it. And that was one of the funnest things about today is seeing people let go seeing people who one of my inner circle members said, if you guys are listening, I love you, by the way.
She said, It's just awkward, like creating rules and tiktoks. And I and it's just not normal, like not something she would do. And I said, Well, let's think about this as arrogant. Do any of us and this is for any of you listening to who also think that's okay. Do any of us walk around pointing to the sky and words pop up? No, we do not. Which means it's ridiculous. Period. None of us do this in real life. Right? There are no like, where it makes me think of that.
Movie, there's a movie that things pop up. But like, that's not the world we live in. There's no nothing's popping up. But I point unless I create it that way on video, right? I don't walk to my kids and say, I want you to do these five things today, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, and I'm pointing to them. And it's giving them their chore list. Right? Because maybe that would work. Maybe I should create tic TOCs to tell my kids what to do. Ah, this might be a genius idea.
and tag them, they will be mortified. I'm just gonna throw that out there. But any parents listening should totally do this. Let me know how it goes. But we again, we just need to get with other people doing the same thing. And I saw her letting loose and letting go and having fun. Today at the selfie Museum and I looked at her after I told her none of us walk around pointing and words pop up. And I said and if you think you look ridiculous. I am 45 years old doing this.
I'm sure I look ridiculous. But I don't care. It's not about that. It's about getting the message across right that is my priority. Serving and supporting people helping them grow their business. If they have one takeaway from number three on my list of five and I made their day better or made something in their life easier, or they say I saved them time or money. That's what it's all about. Right? If you help them market their business, if I help them be heard, be seen more right and
get paid more. That's huge. So I'm going to recap this podcast really quick because I want to make sure that I have some kind of takeaway. Number one. If you give presentations or you teach, see if you can read the room. I talk about this a lot in intake forums, or even in Facebook group questions. If you're doing a program or a free program, what is your what do you want to take away from this? It helps with marketing, it helps with the content creation for the the offer or the program or
whatever. It also makes you understand is your marketing, you're using foreign alignment, are they asking for the same thing you're actually giving? Number two, stop making everything so difficult. We make things more difficult than they need to be. Break it down. Keep it simple. So you don't have to always show your face. bring people into your lives. Let them see who you are. People have people want to have a feeling about you. Right? They don't connect with cold tips. Sorry.
They go find those on Pinterest never connect or follow the person and walk away with the tips, right? People connect with people, people connect with feelings. What's the feeling that you bring? Also, what do you do day in and day out that you just take for granted that you don't think about teaching your audience? And then what things are you holding back on because you feel they're silly. They're not you. Or you just haven't given them a chance yet.
I do believe we shouldn't do anything we hate number one and tell you that right now. But you can't say you hate something unless you actually give it a chance. Then you try it and you realize you hate it. That's another thing. But if you actually find enjoyment into it. That's another I used to say I hated video, I was really just scared of video. And then I fell in love with it. And I feel
alive. i A lot of my inner circle members said they just felt tired from smiling so much today and and I get that because I like a 20 minute photoshoot, I'm done. Friends, I'm done that smiling and not be able to control my face and not know what's doing. But today, I was doing video content, I was fine. I can see all my face was doing control it. And I was in the moment. And so there were pictures man snapped all over the place of
me. And it wasn't exhausting. I could stay there another two hours and create a video content. But that's just in my zone in my element. So my throat is her a little bit in right now. So I probably need to stop talking. But I hope you had some kind of takeaway from this video, or this video. It's been a long day this podcast. And I hope it served and supported you.
