One of my favorite things that I loved hearing , when I first thought that I was going to be all about visibility , was when people said she's everywhere . And you know , it's one of those things that probably back then , I was more I'm gonna do air quotes on than I am today , but it's interesting , there was also a lot less noise .
I would definitely say there was a lot less noise back in 2019 , even 2020 , for the most part , right , until , like , things happened and we , like online was the only place everybody could be , and so to hear the words she's everywhere was really huge for me , while they would say you're everywhere .
But it was really huge for me because , you know , if I'm gonna call myself the Visibility Queen , that's obviously something that I wanna accomplish , right , it's something that I want to happen and , in order to show other people how to do it , I believe that we lead the way right , like I'm not telling you how to be visible and then literally never showing up ,
right , and I think that's really , really interesting , and you guys know that I love talking about embodying things .
I love talking about we walk the walk , we don't just talk the talk kind of thing , and so actually being able to do that was , you know , one of those things that , back in 2016 , I never could have saw happening , because the truth of the matter is is that I had no desire to get on video , and if you would have told me in 2016 , one day you're gonna
call yourself the Visibility Queen , you're gonna own the domain and blah , blah , blah and you're gonna help people get on video , I would have laughed in your face and said you must be mistaken , you have me confused with someone else , because that's honestly how I felt , and so this is coming up from a couple reasons that I wanna talk about .
This today is number one .
I have a client who told me when she started working with me , she wanted to be everywhere like me , like she wanted to be visible like me , and I believe she was already very visible , but she had a person reach out to her who gave her the confidence to do something , because , she said , every time she opened up an email or any social media platform , she
saw my client's face and she said you're everywhere . And so my client told me that story , which was amazing , because I want all of my people to feel like they're everywhere , without working themselves like to death , like that's not what I want . I want them to live their life and be able to do this .
And so I was looking at the responses of the people that had joined Iconic and one of the responses said how did you hear about this program ? And the response was it's everywhere . And so it was funny because I had just heard this story from my client .
Then I saw this message that it's everywhere , like literally , not just you are everywhere , chrissy , but you're talking about this program everywhere . And I think that is really important to know . Like so many times and I'm gonna talk about a lot of this inside of Iconic but so many times we get on video and we're like invisible , but we're not . We're not .
We're surface level visible , but we're not really visible .
Like our audience doesn't know who we are , they don't know what we're about and they probably definitely don't know what we're selling , because we're too afraid to put ourselves out there , we're too afraid to really talk about the things that we sell because we're too afraid of being selzy , because we're too afraid of turning people off , and , as women , we struggle
with this so much , and you know , I used to fill this way too , and I used to struggle with this too , but you know what , if I don't , there's a lot of noise out there . Remember I just talked about I didn't have as much competition in 19 and 20 , but we're in 2023 and there's a ton of noise out there . There's a ton of noise .
There's not a whole lot of competition , though , because not everybody is in it for the right reasons , and I'll never forget when I heard that quote and I love that , and I don't remember who said that to me .
But there's a lot of noise , there's not a lot of competition , and so I get to share my offer over and over and over , and do you know that I will typically almost always , the day the last 24 hours of an offer , I will say who still needs to get in or who still needs to sign up or who still needs to link , and I have people that said , oh my gosh ,
I haven't heard anything about this . So , therefore , if you know how visible I am and you watch and you see how much I sell , then you know that that's pretty frequently right , and there are still people that don't see it , and you got to think about this too . There's people always coming into your world .
They're always like coming in , and is that person seeing your content for the first time ? Are they seeing it for the fifth time ? Are they seeing it for the 15th time ? Are they seeing it for the 100th time ? You never know . But are you ready ? No matter what time it is , are you putting out content that it doesn't matter , right ?
Whether you're in the first time you've been in my world or the 100th , this piece of content is going to land for you , no matter what , right .
And so then I got a message from the same person who said the offer was over , because she saw me talking about it in my stories and she goes , and I was totally serious about seeing you everywhere , and so I think that's just you know .
I think so many people think that I am on all the time Like Chrissy doesn't sleep , chrissy doesn't eat , chrissy just stays on video , which is the furthest thing from the truth . I'm just going to tell everybody that , like today , I went out about an hour and a half and hung up on my pole . Did I listen to a training ?
Yes , I listened to a training while I was floating in a float . Yes , did I cut out early and go drive my Jeep around because the top and the doors are offering me right now ? Yes , I did . I can't work when I'm driving my Jeep Number one , I'm driving Number two .
I would have to blast the sounds so loud for a training that I wouldn't be able to understand it because of the wind blowing through my hair . So I only listen to music when I have the top and doors off . But regardless , I digress .
I think that we just get to remember there's a couple things that we're not doing , and so either write these down if you're not doing anything that you would harm you to do this , or come back and remember this part in the episode around the seven minute mark , and that is this . Thank you .
Most people I'm not gonna say you , most people are not consistent enough in their visibility . You don't need to be on every single platform , but the ones that you are , or the ones that you're choosing to be , you get to be very consistent . I don't mean you have to be on every day . You can be creative , you can schedule , it doesn't matter , right ?
Number two most people are not repeating themselves enough . Like we get to repeat ourselves so that we are like I really don't want to talk about this again because I feel like I say it all the time . However , I have what are we at ? 420 , some episodes on this podcast . Do you think I haven't repeated myself ? I've repeated myself a lot .
I've told it in different ways , I've shared it in different ways , I've used different story examples . I may have called it different things , right , but this is a visibility impact show . Like there is a lot of visibility chat and talk on this podcast , maybe not every episode , but there is a lot of repeating because we need to hear it over and over .
I have had to hear things over and over .
I listened to my mentors' trainings probably two to three times to let it really soak in , and every time I listen to it , something else pops out , right , something else lands with me , and sometimes I do it in the same time frame , like in a month time frame , and sometimes it's like I listen to it , then I listen to it again in a couple of months and I
listen to it again in a couple more months . So we get to be consistent . We don't have to be everywhere , but we do get to be consistent where we're at . We get to repeat ourselves over and over and we don't get to be afraid of talking about what we have to offer . We are all businesses . We are not hobbies .
It is okay to sell , it is okay to invite , it is okay to talk about why you created something and why you're so excited . Because here's the thing If you're not talking about it , your audience doesn't know how you can serve and support them . Not really .
But if you make the offer , you're going to get the sell eventually , and the more offers you make , the more opportunities to invite people into your world you're going to have .
