So I was thinking about my podcast and when I first started a podcast , i was kind of playing around with it .

I wasn't really serious , i was really documenting a journey that I had , and it's funny because we're like we're getting close like 400 episodes and over maybe a year and a half period and if you go back and like listen to like probably the first 200 episodes , there has been so much evolution through this . It's been .

A friend of mine called her podcast a verbal journal and it's so true because what I said back then is like evolved , and I think sometimes when we evolve and we change , we have transformations . The first thing we want to do is go delete all the stuff that we don't agree with anymore .

And that is an easy way out , because I even look at videos that I created back in like 2018-2019 and I'm like , oh god , those are bad . I don't even I don't even like agree with that anymore .

However , what I do with that is I actually take the video and do like a side-by-side and like that's not how I feel anymore , but this is why I changed my mind right . But I think the podcast I will not mess with it because I think it's an evolution .

It shows that transformation and I think that's important because if I was not constantly learning , if I was not constantly up leveling myself , if all of these things were true , then I wouldn't be growing as much as I am .

And I feel like , honestly , in the past two years , there's been like this quantum leap of growing , like it's been this huge transformation that's happened and I don't want to erase that history .

I don't want to erase that , the thoughts and feelings that I had all of those times , because there were , there were moments in my transformation that I was going through a lot of money , mindset , work , and I'm talking about money a lot .

There is moments that I was , you know , deciding on how I'm gonna change my business model , and I talk about that a lot , and I think it's really , really important to see that evolution and to see that growth and to have that documented , because here's the thing somebody could find an episode and they really resonate that with that .

Right , and even though I've evolved from that , they could resonate with that . But it's what they needed to hear . If they go through the episodes in order , i don't know if they would , but if they did , they could truly listen to the evolution and how and why , and the thoughts I had during that entire time .

I think this is so important because so many times we pivot in business like meaning we'll go and we'll do something totally different , but also we can pivot in our , in our thoughts and in our transformation , and that can almost seem like a pivot right , because our belief systems change the things that we used to say we don't feel the same about anymore .

I remember I used to say that the only way you can grow your business is through live video . There's lots of videos that prove that . I said that there's lots of podcast episodes that prove that . I said that not my podcast , but other podcast . But I said that back in like 2018 , like I didn't know TikTok was gonna happen .

Back then , i didn't know all these amazing things were gonna happen . So I stood by what I said in that moment .

now , with that being said , i do still think that live video which is why I'm challenging myself again to do two live videos every single day I do think it has a place in our marketing strategy , right , because there is a lot of noise , but most people still are not doing live video .

So I say you pick , you pick the path of police resistance , you pick the path of leads , competition , and you do what you can do . I want somebody to watch a live video , or I want somebody to flip through a funny reel and keep going and never connect with me , right ?

I would rather show them the real , raw me that will mess up and go 50 different layers on this live video that I didn't mean to go to , which I'm already experiencing , right , i would rather do that , and so I still believe it has a place in your marketing strategy . I don't believe it's . You can't , i don't believe you can't grow a business without it .

Let me say that . But when you go through this podcast when I'm almost at 400 episodes you hear these things over and over . You hear all these things . You hear the transformation that I've had .

You hear the Basically , the duality of this is the way I used to feel and this is the way I feel now , or this is the way I used to feel and this is how I've improved upon that . I told my inner circle members today the Momentum Mastermind . I said I will never teach how to create content .

The same way , i literally probably invest in six content creation programs a year . How would it say the same ? It doesn't . It's not like I take a course or I take a program and I'm like , boom , i'm going to do this way . They do it .

No , i pick one thing to make my content strategy better , one thing , and then I build on that , and I have done that for years and that's why , if you were ever part of my what I call a virtual retreat which is before 2020 , by the way and I taught those every single month how I taught it then and how I teach it now total like 180 , total 180 .

I want that for my audience , i want that for myself . I want to continue to grow . We build our business one piece of content at a time . The only thing I can do is get better . So I am going to continue to invest in everything that I can and everybody that I love . How they create content . I want to know their trick .

I just need to pull like 1% of what they do out of it to make my content creation strategy better for myself , and then , once I implement it and I see this is really working , of course I'm going to change it . I want to give you a quick example of like how I've evolved , even over almost 400 episodes of podcasts . Don't be afraid of where you've been .

Don't be afraid to show your audience how you've changed . Don't be afraid of that stuff . It shows that you're growing . It shows that you're learning . It shows that you are experiencing new things . Maybe you had a setback and a failure or something , and you're coming back . You're figuring out a better way .

Truth is beautiful , transformations are beautiful , evolving is beautiful , but it's going to look a lot different than you used to look , and that's okay . It's a journey And although some days it would be easier just to go delete those old podcast episodes , the truth is is that I have that journey documented .

It's documented and all of my podcast episodes are also transcribed , so I can search all of them and see exactly what I said , which is beautiful , and then I can literally talk about that transformation . Like I remember , on episode five , i said blah , blah , blah .

But we're on episode 500 now and I no longer believe that way , or I no longer feel that way , or I no longer teach that way . And that's a beautiful thing , valgrud . So don't erase the way you used to feel . Don't erase the feelings you used to have , because they're all part of your evolution .

They're all part of the transformation that you'll have as you grow .

I call that girl back then baby Chrissy , but now I can look at even a year ago , i can still call her baby Chrissy because I know the growth I've had and I know the growth that I've experienced And I hope I can say that every single 12 months that I've actually invested and grown that much , because that is a beautiful thing , my friend .
