And back in July of 2020, I was really struggling in my business. And if you've been following me for a while, you've probably heard this story. And that's okay to be repeated. But I was struggling in my business and I my revenue was not where I wanted it to be. And I was focusing so much on the money
that it was depressing me. And so I needed to create another KPI that we call key performance indicator that still shows that I'm moving the needle forward, even if my revenue is not exactly where I feel like it should be right, like I'm still doing things that are helping my business grow, helping me get visible, but not necessarily. You know, bringing in sales at the moment, but I know that it's one of those planting seeds types of situations, right, when you plant seeds, you reap the
harvest. So that's why being consistent is so important. Because if you plant the seeds, the harvest will you will it will reap right. So, I so in July of 2020. I set on this journey to do 100 Live videos, and even shocked myself. And many people have tried it since I think a couple people have been successful. But they're like, I don't know how you did this, like it's not easy. But the reason I did it in the first place is because I counted and on average, I did 60 to 80
videos a month already. So it was already putting out a ton of video content. So it didn't scare me. It wasn't I mean, it was a stretch. But it wasn't like this humongous stretch for me, right, it was still what I pretty much already did with adding 20 More videos. So in July of 2021, I did not want it to be anything about me necessarily. I wanted to put the focus on a nonprofit. And so I chose NC 4k. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the whole
challenge. I just knew I was gonna have people go on a journey with me during the month of July. And then when I listened to that podcast on June 18, of 2021, it completely changed my mind about everything that I was trying to get people to do. And I was like, we're going on uncomfortable journey for 31 days, that's what we're doing. And we're gonna raise
money for NC 4k. And so we caught it changing lives in July, because not only was I hoping that people would change their own lives by getting uncomfortable and doing something out of their comfort zone every single day, playing bigger and no longer playing small. But also, I wanted to raise this money, my goal was to raise $5,000 for a charity and I never went, you know, I've donated to charities, but I've never like collectively tried to
raise a lot of money. And so this was like, going to be the big scary goal of mine to raise this money we did sponsors and had people sign like a contract when they opted in. So they signed the contracts themselves saying that they were going to they were going to, you know, keep this promise to themselves that they were going to get uncomfortable every single day to push themselves to grow to see what really happens if you
can do this for 31 days. So not only did we hit our goal of money raised, but we actually went over and we were right at like, right, just a few dollars below 6000. And we might even win a little bit over it. But that felt really good. Really good. Because it was something that I felt like was really scary, right? Not only was it that I was planning on doing this uncomfortable thing, I'm trying to get all 150 people to do uncomfortable things with me
for 31 days. But also, I'm challenging people to raise money and if I don't raise money, enough money for this charity, then it looks like I flopped Right? Like if nobody's gonna go in with me and believe in my cause. Then, and want to support in this. And so that felt really good to be able to raise that kind of money. And then I was like, What am I going to do this uncomfortable? Well, I'm going to to 200 Live videos because why not? 100 was really easy. Let's be honest, to me, it
was easy. But 200 I knew what pushed me. And I was not wrong. 200 Denali pushed me friends, but 200 Burn me out for like, I don't know, if I showed up on video, consistently for probably 60 days after that, I was so tired of talking on video. And really, you know, it was a challenge. And I'm glad I did it, I will not do it again. But it got to the point that I was just really talking nonsense, you know, because that's a lot of video content. And not that I didn't have, I had 250 video
ideas that I came up with. But just sometimes I did not feel like talking like I did not feel like talking it was to the point that I got off track. And this is why the compound effect and being consistent is so important, because I felt like I had to make up like for all those which to reach my goal I
did. So my goal, originally it was going to be six videos a day, which when I did 100 lives, it was three videos a day, not that big of a deal, especially today when we have reels and you know, YouTube and live video and you know, all these other things, which technically I couldn't do reels, but because I had to be live. But regardless, 100 was easy compared to 200. And I got off track. So my six a day became eight a day. And then
I would get off track again. And the eight a day became 10 a day. And the last probably, I don't know, 10 days a month. And I was gone on vacation for 10 of those days too. And I was still cranking out video not as much as I wanted. But I was still putting out video content. And so the last probably 10 days of the month, I was doing 10 videos a day. The other thing I did was, which also made it more difficult because I couldn't really repurpose all these videos, which I can, I can I've
had to edit them all. But I did sponsors for every single day. So I shouted out a sponsor every single day that I did this video content, which I'm going to do it totally different this year. And I already am aligned. And I know exactly what it's going to look like. And I'm really excited. But, you know, it was just one of the things I didn't know. And so I had to do a video every single day at some point because I had to shout out a
sponsor. And that was I would at least shout them out once I was doing a recap every single day on what people did to get uncomfortable how they felt how much money we raised that day. So that was like my ending live every single night before I went to bed. And it started out really fresh in Chris he was all peppy. And I think it ended with like, I'm like dragging trying to get this recap in by the end of every day. But you know,
that's a lot. That's a lot like getting to the point where you're doing 10 videos a day, even if they were short videos, right? And a friend of mine did the 100. And she was really smart because she would do a little bit and next video and then a little bit next video. I clearly was not that smart. Because I was like doing a whole subject, right on video. And then I would do a whole nother subject on video. And then I would do like so I was finding 10 things, different things to
talk about. Well, the nine, the 10 thing would have been the recap every every evening. But it was hard. It was hard. It was exhausting. I get tired of hearing myself talk. And so I really just completely shut down after that. I ended up getting 215 because I was an overachiever for 100 lives in July and 2020. And I think I did 1105 or 110. And so it was like, Oh, I'm not doing just 200 I'm doing like 215 So, you know, again, overachiever, whatever, can just do the bare minimum.
But you know, it's okay. Because I survived it. And it was a very good learning lesson, but also one that I know I will not be doing again in the future and that's okay. It was very uncomfortable. And I stretched myself and I pushed myself and I was tired and it really helped me see like, you know how like when you really don't feel like doing something but you still do it. And I pushed myself and it I was not selling at all that month. But it ended up being my
highest month ever. I was not actively selling people were buying stuff but I wasn't like inviting or pitching or asking or anything like that. So it was very interesting to me on how that came about. Because there was a lot of attention, there was a lot of me showing up. Even if I felt I was mumbo jumbo kind of, you know, halfway doing it. Clearly, people were still getting the message, right. So I did support people, I did help people. And so many amazing people came together to help me
reach that goal for NC 4k. And so this July, we're working on the strategy for everything. Now. I have a lot of ideas. But I want to get you excited, I want to get you thinking about this. Because here's the things I do now. By the end of the summer, there will be a book. And it will have to do with being uncomfortable, at least that's what I'm feeling aligned
with right now. And there will be an opportunity for everybody who participates in hundreds of lives in July, and completely does every single day, there will be a way that they can participate in this book and be featured in this book. And that is what I'm super excited about. Because sure, I love helping people. I love telling people my story. I love telling people how
things changed my life. But when it changes other people's lives, when they see it with their own eyes, when they're like literally blow their own mind. They're like, wait a minute, what this works, right like it, oh my gosh. So when people change their own lives, and they blow their own mind, that is what just sets my soul on fire. And so I'm just giving you a
little hint. If you keep your eye on any of my social handles or the visibility queen.com page, as soon as we get those signups up, where you go and you pledge money to a charity, you sign a contract with yourself, I don't need to see that you can share it. But it's totally with yourself saying I'm aligned, I'm going to do this. I'm going to push myself during the entire month of July. So we will have that all coming out soon. All the details, how to get in how to stay in, all of that stuff is
coming. And we had 150 People start participating with us last year, obviously not 150 people finished. But I really want to increase that to 300 people this year. And I want to have at least 50% people complete it like that's my goal. I want to see people believe in themselves pushing themselves to trust themselves, to do the thing, and to play bigger than they've ever played before. So watch for details. It's coming. But I am telling you, playing bigger.
