Episode description

If you build your business one post at a time, shouldn't that content be so valuable to strengthen your business.  Think of building the house on sand or rock parable. So why not make each piece of content like a mini-masterclass?

I put a post in my group and said, thoughts. What if every piece of content you put out was like a mini masterclass. And, obviously, a lot of people thought it was interesting, like I love it. And then some people you know, not good or bad because I think it's just the way that we are. We're perceiving things and it's also in the mindset and how we take that. The first thing is that a lot of people take it as, oh my god, I'm giving everything away.

Like if I give everything away, no one's going to buy from me. But we forget that every piece of content we put out builds our business. So if every piece of content I put out builds my business, why would I not want it to be the best content ever? Why would I be scared of giving

things away? Why would it be afraid of positioning myself as the expert with that one piece of content what we also don't understand is that in mentoring and coaching and even marketing like every business and strategy is so different that I can give you everything I've got right but unless I talk to you and know your business inside and out know what's worked before what know what hasn't worked know where you're at financially know what you're doing for a legion strategy. I can't

actually give it all away. So each month micro masterclass mini masterclass piece of content I put out. It's, it's I don't want to say it's generic, but I want to say it's very broad. Because I'm saying it for multiple businesses, right? I'm not saying for your business, I'm not saying for a certain industry, right, I'm not just talking to fitness coaches when I when I put that information out there. So I think it can definitely work. And if people do it and implement it, it could

definitely work. But most of the time, we struggle, even myself, on taking advice for free. on doing the thing for free. When I actually invest the dollar, I paid pay attention, I pay for proximity, I pay for mentorship, that is when I see the results. I see amazing free content every single day, that blows my mind. But doesn't always mean I'm

implementing it. But what it does mean is, this is the person I'm hiring next, this is the person I want proximity to, because if they're giving me this kind of value, if they're giving me this kind of knowledge in a free post, right, publicly to everyone, what's gonna happen when I pay them? What's gonna happen when I get close proximity them? What's gonna happen when I actually get mentored by them when they know

my business inside and out? That is how I look at doing the Mini or the micro master classes for every piece of content. I have been that person who is put out content to check a box. And now the only content I put out as if I mean it. Does that mean I put out less content? Actually, yeah. Because each piece is more potent, bold and powerful than what I put out a year ago. And way more powerful than what I put out 2345 years ago. I get better. And you guys have listened. You know that I talked

about this all the time. Every day, I put out another amazing piece of content. I'm getting better than I was yesterday. Every day I decided to show up on video I hit better than I was yesterday. Every time I tried to do a short form video, I'm getting better than I was yesterday. So what is the fear and the lack that you're

feeling? By putting out your value your knowledge, because at the end of the day, most people either a if you're a service provider, they're not going to do it for themselves, they still need support, and they still want help doing it. Be if you're let's say your health and fitness coaching you're giving people know what to do. For the most part, people know what to do. They knew how to get up and move every single day they know

to drink more water. But they don't do it because they actually don't have accountability. And they're paying for the accountability when they pay for you. When you're a coach or a mentor. They're paying for the proximity. They're paying for the individualized strategy. When you're a service provider done for you, they're paying for you to do it for them. So why again, are we holding on to all of the knowledge? Why are we like squeezing it tight and afraid to let it go?

I know some People are afraid that people are going to take your knowledge and take your, what you what you teach. And I've had that fear too. And I've taught the content strategies and frameworks, and I was afraid. I was in lack and scarcity, too. Put my visible framework out on social media. What they learn in a post, or what anybody learns this post is great. It's a great takeaway.

But the full fledged training is what's going to help your business grow, because I can't explain everything in a post, right? I can't give as many examples and have and a quick Instagram carousel. But when we work together, that story changes. So think about how are you being a little stingy with your content, and your knowledge, because we've all been there, I'm still stingy

with some of my. And the more that I find that I let go, it's kind of like the sales strategy, or keeping people lean back. Right, lean back energy, don't hold you know, and hold on loosely. Because when we hold on to something so tight, it's like the puppies right? When you are you see the shows, or the cartoons where they hold on the puppy, and I'm gonna love you, I'm a squeegee, blah, blah, and the puppy just wants to get

away. When our kids become teenagers, or sometimes even when they're toddlers, and you just want to hug them and squeeze them in love them, and they just want to get away, right? It's the same thing when we hold on to that knowledge. Number one, people don't know how amazing we are. We're missing out on so many people saying yes to us. Because we're not positioning ourselves. We're

giving generic content. We're giving generic tips, the things that people can Google instead of sharing our heart, our frameworks, our processes, how we do things, our knowledge. And if you didn't see, I'm doing 12 Days of Giving if you're listening to this live in December, and we started yesterday, and every day, I'm giving major value. Some of them are past trainings that people have paid for. And then I'm also giving resources and then I'm also making a heck of a deal

offer. Have a servant's heart. give without expecting something in return. But know that every piece of micro mastery content you can put out every micro masterclass or mini masterclass that you put out. You're blowing somebody's freaking mind. They're saving or sharing that piece of content or maybe even screenshotting it because they're going to work with you one day and you don't even know it yet. And just out of the blue, they're gonna message you say I'm ready. But we get to go

first. We get to step out first, we get to show up in our power first. So stop holding it and and tucking it all away. Live in abundance live in overflow and know that somebody is going to say yes to you. Once you start putting out more of this type of content.
