I know a lot about content and here are some things that I can honestly tell you . Number one you can't just like show up and be visible all the time without a strategy . I mean you can . However , what you're going to find is that showing up to show up is not going to convert .
This is somebody who has created over 20,000 pieces of content for myself and clients , someone who has done over 10,000 hours of video content . Both of these are really crucial and have shown me exactly what works and what doesn't work .
Now , how I taught content five years ago is not how I teach content today , because it evolves like everything else in our industry . In the online world , it evolves as we go and we move forward . So , over 20,000 pieces of content , over 10,000 hours of video it has taught me a lot . Now , the 20,000 pieces of content is not just mine .
I used to have so many clients who posted every single day , sometimes multiple times a day so I've created a lot of content . But even if I went back and looked at all of those clients now and , let's say , I started doing client content again , I would not do it the same way that I did them , because what worked then isn't working now .
This is why I love talking about creating raping fans . Our content is the foundation of our business . It is the number one thing that most of us please tell me , most of us are or should be consistent with when it comes to marketing our business online , right ?
So if our content is that foundational and we literally build our business , let's think about it brick by brick if you're a brick and mortar right , or customer by customer , or one piece of content at a time . Do we not think that is important ? Do we not think that that is an important thing that we should be working on ?
I honestly take every single content creation program . I can get my hands on Every mentor that I have that's had one . I'm in , Do you know why ? Because there's always a takeaway that I have . There's always something that I can learn , there's always something that I can implement and then add that in to my content strategy moving forward .
So the question is when is the last time you upped your content game ? When was the last time you added in a new strategy ? When is the last time you went and did something and literally walked away and felt like a million bucks ? Because you felt like you had a strategy .
You felt confident in the content that you were putting out because you know this lands . This is making so much sense . And you know what happens when you're confident in the content that you put out . It's this crazy thing your audience starts to become much more confident in you . They see how you're showing up .
They see how you're lit up when you post that piece of content . Even if you're not on video , people can tell by the way that you write something . Is this person in alignment right now ? Am I getting all the warm and fuzzies from this piece of content ? You can't fake it . I mean , you might be able to for a while , but not for long .
So the question is when is the last time you upped your content game ? When was the last time you upped your content strategy ? When was the last time you actually looked at it and said is this in alignment with what I do now ? Is this what I want and how I want people to perceive me online ? Is this attracting raving fans ? Is this attracting sales ?
These are all great questions that we get to ask ourselves , and literally not because there's anything wrong with me or you , but really just look and analyze . Is this doing what it's supposed to be doing , or do I get to make some changes ? Do I get to make some edits ? Do I get to work on this ?
And again , this is all about just looking at it and being like , okay , this isn't working . This has nothing to do with me , but I get to work on this , I get to improve on this . I think we should always be improving our content strategy , or marketing strategy , and ourselves strategy . Also .
We should also be working on ourselves and all that unsexy stuff , but those three things are crucial . So if you have an opportunity to up your sales game I mean sales can be good , but maybe there's still not where you want them to be , or maybe there's like one little tweak you need to make your content .
Maybe it seems like it's converting or people are liking it , or maybe they're not liking it at all . Maybe you're not getting any sales when you put out that offer . There's some kind of disconnect there and in the raving fans program , we're going to work on that and figure that out . This is a four week program because it is no joke .
It is not like let me throw up some content prompts for you and go yes , I'll probably give you content prompts , but we're going to talk about the foundational parts of your business , the foundational parts of your content strategy that are going to help you create raving fans .
So when you do have Black Friday offers out there into the world , or holiday offers , that you are actually going to start seeing some movement , and who doesn't want more of that ?
