I think there are moments in all of our lives and businesses where we don't have a lot of belief and certainty. And maybe that's after some disappointing. Goal setting, right? Like, maybe we didn't reach our goal, or someone says something, or a client doesn't pay, or a client's payment is rejected, like, I feel like when we start this business, we have all this competence, and we feel like we can take on the world. And then the day to day, right, typically working by yourself in your house.
With no other real community, or no interaction, it just starts to weigh on us day after day after day. And there's nobody there saying, Good job. There's no like metrics, you know, from your boss, that you may have had at your nine to five, like, a numbers that you have to reach or something like that. So you have no idea if what you're doing is on the right path, or is the right thing, because there's no one there for guidance, right. And so entrepreneurship is hard. It's
hard. Because not only do we get to, you know, do the things day in and day out without, you know, clocking in and out and somebody's there to say this is your goal for every single day. This is, you know, this proves that you did a good job, or you did your job, or you did the things that you should have done, or you reach to the metric that you're supposed to reach. So you know, if you overachieve
it, you're like golden. And so therefore, we lose our belief, and we lose our certainty in what we do, because we struggle, because there's no, there's not Daily Validation. There's not a daily Pat, on the back, there's not Daily Good job. There's not daily somebody, you can go ask like, how am I doing today? How are my numbers today, right? Like you, there's nobody to validate you.
And so there are moments in our business, maybe not all the time, but there are moments our business, we're all of us lack a little bit of certainty and a little bit of belief. And what I have found is that, anytime I feel this, number one, have a mentor, because your mentor always believes in you. And if they don't believe in you, if they don't believe that what you want is possible, they should not be your mentor. Okay. But I borrow your mentors
belief, number one. And I'll never forget when my mentor told me that on the times that that you don't, that you don't feel it, borrow mine. The thing is, is that the more a mentor believes in their client, the faster they're going to break through. Because of the mentors belief, and I think that is so magical, right? So absolutely, you're allowed to borrow it, absolutely. You're allowed to take it as yours. But at some point, I want you to also do this.
I want you to sit down, and I want you to write down, the wins the small wins to the big journey, like write them down. Somebody inquired about my program, I transformed this person's life like, these are all small wins, right? That lead to the big goal of whatever that is, whether it's providing for your family, or paying off debt or living a
life of freedom. And the other thing that I love doing in these moments of disbelief or uncertainty is to grab out a journal or you're not a writer than pull out your voice. A place where you can voice memo or create like a telegram chat, that's just you
in it. And literally just voice memo or write the gratefulness that you have for the people that are in your program for the people that you get to help in the future for the people that haven't spoken up yet, but have been changed by the content that you're putting out. For the tenacity that you know that you're never gonna stop having, because you're not going to stop even when it's hard. Be grateful for the opportunity
to be a business owner. You Even though it's hard, even though it sucks sometimes even though you feel lonely sometimes that my friend is going to serve and support you through the hard times. Borrow others belief and certainty until you can get yours back. And always be grateful because it's very hard to be in a, um, it's hard to be in a grateful situation and be sad and be worrying at the same time. Build up your belief borrow others and keep moving.
Because sometimes we have dips and our momentum and they're typically caused by these but if we can get them you know back to being the top of mind like I'm borrowing their belief they believe in me I'm moving right or they have certainty in me and I'm moving or I'm debt I'm I'm so grateful for all these things. I see where I lost it. I'm coming back
