There's nothing like gratitude in your business in everyday life for that matter. But the thing that I found is when I feel like I'm lacking, right. I've talked about abundance and lack a lot. But when I feel like I'm in lack, right, and I'm, I'm lacking something like in real life, like there's really something
I'm not I don't have. I've had this new shift that I asked myself, am I grateful for what I do have, right? And sometimes we know we're grateful. But we haven't really said it out loud. Have we really written it on a piece of paper lately. And I was thinking about this as I was driving and I was like, Oh, I didn't do my gratitude journal this morning. Maybe I'll just do it on audio because I can drive. I can record it. This may or may not become a podcast. So we'll
just see how this goes. Because when you're in the moment, you're in the moment, right? And I want you to always think about how grateful you are. For what you have that what does that quote, if you only had the things tomorrow that you said that you are grateful for today? You know, how would that feel kind of thing. So we get busy, we get wrapped up as entrepreneurs we get wrapped up in our family things we get wrapped up in so many things. And it's like, oh, you're
telling me one more thing. I got to do Crissy Trust me, I get it, I get it. But when we start the day with gratitude, when we start the day with gratefulness, it is amazing how not only we feel moving forward after that, but people feel that, especially if you state you're grateful for like a person. They feel it they crazy things happen. That's all I know. I don't understand it. You know, sometimes it's like that math. And it's math and miracles are math and magic.
However you want to say it when you want to reach a goal, and you don't know how you're gonna get there. But I think that is the same thing with the gratitude, right? I don't know how people know that. You say in your mind, you're grateful to them, even if you don't talk to them, maybe you don't tell them verbally, crazy things happen. We just want you to know that. So what am I grateful for today, in this moment, I am grateful. Let me get over these strips. They don't make for a really
good podcast, just say. So I am grateful for my family, my husband, my daughter, my sons, my new daughter in law. The baby that's on the way my parents. Funny thing that I say I'm grateful for my beards, because I don't think when we're growing up, we are as grateful for parents as we are after we get older. They're just pretty much annoying. Growing up, and that's the only thing we can think of in the moment, I am so much more grateful for my parents today than I used to be. And that
feels really, really good. I am also grateful for my friends, my friendships, my relationships that I have. My online relationships that I have, I think they're so vital and they're so important. I I think truly when I think about my inner circle, I don't think they understand how much they teach me. I don't think they understand how much I learned
from them. So not only obviously that's amazing that I learned from them, and they teach me stuff but also I'm grateful for them as human beings seeing what they're doing, seeing the purpose that they have seeing the way that they want to change people's lives. That is amazing. Right? Like, I am truly trying to help them market something that's going to change people's lives. That to me, feels so good. I know they've all had experiences that they can really
change people's lives. I know they've all had different heartaches. They've all had the breakdowns before the breakthroughs, right. And that's how we can help people by sharing those vulnerable moments by sharing what we've been through by hoping that we can prevent anyone right from being in whatever that situation is ever again, you know, like that we've experienced, it's kind of like one of those things, I would want my worst enemy to go
through this, right. Like, when you've been through heartache and pain and things like that. And if we can prevent another person from experiencing that feels pretty good. Right? Showing them the path that we've taken. That, you know, did us in right, and, and showing them how we would have done this, or if we would have done this, even though I don't believe in like, there's no regrets, whatever happens happen for a reason. But if we can steer somebody in a different direction, we totally
would. And I think that's a very powerful thing, right? Just knowing that almost every business is there to help people to help. Maybe it's to help other businesses, but it's still a person involved, right? We're still helping a person. That's why I think b2b is a little you know, it's like, oh, we had a shock. No, actually, there's a person. It's kind of like b2b. Okay, it really is see, right, because there is a consumer at the end that that decision maker, that's a person, not a
logo. Sometimes it's a board, right? Sometimes it can look a little different. But there is it is a people, we are all in people businesses. And I think that's important to know. The other thing I am thankful for is my programs, I have the FOMO academy that just started recently. And we're going through modules together, and we're having calls once a week, and those are very intimate calls very small numbers. But
that's okay. Because this is where we really dive in, and we really get some information for them and help them like steer through it also gives me feedback on do I need to change this module? Do I need to update this model module? Do I need to add something else here is something missing, Could something be explained a little bit better, right? I'm thankful for my newest program, which is a break off from Omni, which is
the Omni VIP program. And I'm so excited for all the extras that they get in that program and my Omni program that I started in September, I'm thankful for them. And it's just no, we create programs and we create these things. And first of all, they are not passive. Nothing about what I do is passive, right? Marketing, anything that I have is not passive. But also I'm showing up, right? It's not like, you know, if you bought a one, I have a $27 offer, and it's delivered to you in an
email. If I don't know you or don't have another way to connect with you, besides email, it's kind of hard to have that touch point, right? However, when I when you're in a program like Omni or Omni VIP, you're going to and even my inner circle, they get the most time of me, you know, I show up once a week, at least, to teach, to train to educate, to give value. My inner circle, it's 90 minutes every single week. You know, it's it's three hours, once a
month, we have a workshop. And that is separate from the workshops in the master classes I sell, they get their own workshop with me. So we workshop things together, and two day events, you know, and in person events. And I am grateful for that. Because that is some of the most precious time whether it's the you know, the 30 minute training for Omni or the 90 minute training for the inner circle or the two day event like today events are exhausting,
right? They take a lot out of me because I'm an introvert but it's worth it. It's worth it. It's worth it because I get to pour into them and they don't know it but they pour into me and I am so grateful for that. Anytime that I feel exhausted anytime that I feel like not showing up. I start thinking about how grateful I am for what I have that dissipates it goes away anytime I, I get aggravated by a client. It happens friends, if you don't, if you have clients, you get me, right? They're
aggravating. Sometimes they're amazing. But they can be aggravating. And as soon as I say I'm so grateful for them, they're not as aggravating anymore. It's crazy how that, that just that gratitude piece changes things I'll never forget. And I know I've probably said this before my favorite book, my favorite all time book, it changed. But it's still number two is the compound effect. And in the book, Darren Hardy talks about his friend who
wants to divorce his wife. And he said, Can you just do me a favor? For 30 days, I want us to write down a grant do a gratitude journal on just her like everything about her you're grateful for. He met up with him a couple months later. And he said, You saved my marriage. He goes, No, you save your marriage. His wife did nothing different. He did something different. He was writing down. Right? All the things he was grateful for when it came to his
wife. When I'm frustrated with my husband, I do the same thing. Putting ourselves in that gratitude mindset, putting ourselves in that grateful mindset, that grateful place, can change everything. It can work, miracles in our business. It can be work miracles, in our sales process. It can work miracles, in our launches, it can work miracles, and so many things if we can stay in a place of gratitude, staying in a place
of gratitude. Like my coach says when people are buying and when they aren't buying and almost expecially when they aren't buying. Grateful for people inquiring, that don't buy, grateful for people asking a question that gives you more content ideas and to dialogue and open up about grateful for the possibilities that that person was interested. They didn't say yes, yes. Maybe it wasn't right for them at that time. Keep yourself in a place of gratitude. And abundance will
