Let's talk about my favorite content strategies . I think we forget sometimes , especially when we sell online as an online business , that our content is one of the most important parts of our marketing strategy overall , like our business growth strategy . How are we attracting our raving fans ? How are we building like-no-interest with our audience ?
How are we entertaining them ? How do we keep them coming back for more ? What are we giving them In ? What reasoning are we giving them to want to continue to pay attention and read and watch and listen to all of the content that we've put out there ? So I think that there are a few things that we get to do .
We're going to say four things , even though number four has a few different elements to it . These four things are a great way to position you as the expert , really be top of mind in your audience's thought process , right ?
So when somebody is looking for XYZ , which is your expertise , they think of you first and then also , I think the feeling that we leave our audience with is really important too . So here we go .
Number one my favorite content strategies all include a great repetition strategy or plan , meaning that we repeat ourselves enough to cut through the noise and our audience knows exactly who we are , what we do , what we're about and all that good stuff .
Because we talk about it enough and we talk about it in different ways , in a variety of ways that really help our audience understand like we give them a variety of types of content right , because we understand that our audience digests things in a totally different way .
Some people like videos , some people like getting to the point , some people like a story , some people like you to pull them in , some people want the emotion and they want the tearjerkers or they want the happy ending and the hero's journey story .
So when we have a great repetition plan , right strategy and we execute it in multiple different mediums for our audience , that is truly a great content . It's part of a great content strategy . The second thing is is that content that activates my audience , meaning that they want to go , take action .
Whether it's creating a quick win for them , it doesn't matter , but when it activates them , they want to make a move . Sometimes that's buying , sometimes that's going and trying the thing , it doesn't matter . But activating my audience to do something Besides scroll on by or think , oh , that was great like , but really activating them .
The third thing I love and I think is really important in a great content strategy is a heck of a lot of passion and conviction , meaning you a thousand percent believe in what you do , you believe that your ideal person desires this result . They desire this transformation .
Like you , feel this conviction and this passion in your soul , and so , therefore , you can't create content that doesn't include that everything you do and you put out is backed up by that passion and that conviction and that yearning and desire to see your audience members change their lives in whatever way that what you do facilitates that .
And then number four , this one's the one that's like a little multiple , but a great content strategy includes your personality . It shows your personality , it shows your expertise , it shows your authority and gives them a quick win . It also breaks out your authenticity and it also shows your vulnerable side .
I've seen so many amazing , brilliant people talk about all their brilliance online and never get vulnerable with their audience , never talk about the things that they've had to overcome . And when we can show that personality , when we can show that authenticity , when we can really get vulnerable with our audience , it's beautiful .
The most vulnerable videos and pieces of content that I've ever put out have been the ones that I've gotten the most comments on . I'm not going to say they're the ones I've gotten the most sales on , because they weren't conversion type pieces of content , but they really brought my audience in .
They made my story , help them feel more related to me , more relatable , and that was huge . Because when people feel you are relatable and that , oh my gosh , she was here , which is where I am , or I've been , and now she's here , this is amazing , there's hope for me after all .
And when you can give people hope and when you can give them that relatability , that helps them see , oh my gosh , anything's possible .
They're going to keep coming back for more , not because Google said it could happen , but because you , the person who shows your personality , who decided to get vulnerable , who decided to be very authentic , real and raw with their audience , you left them feeling something , and when people feel something , they're always going to come back for more .
So I hope you can take these four of my favorite parts of a content strategy and find a way to add them in to your content strategy right away . How can you do this ? Very easily Create a repetition plan or strategy . Create content that activates your audience . Have a heck of a lot of passion and conviction .
Show your personality , your authenticity , your hot messness , or whatever you want to call it , and get vulnerable with your audience so that they can hear what you've been through , where you've been and how you got to where you are today .
