4. Training Versus Working Out: Important Differences, and Why They Matter

Do you sometimes feel like you’re just “winging it” when it comes to your health and fitness journey? You start asking your mom, sister, best friend, etc. what kind of workouts they’re doing, and what meal plan they’re following. You also start looking on Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest for new workouts to try that your favorite influencer is doing, even though they’re super random.
Unfortunately, choosing random workouts and not following a specific training plan will lead you to random results-I don’t want that for you!
In today’s episode, I’m talking about:
-Important differences between training and working out
-Why having a clear goal and plan in mind matters for your fitness
-My personal story of following a workout program that wasn’t helping me reach my fitness goals, and led me to being frustrated and exhausted
-Finding other wins on your fitness journey besides just losing weight
Learning and making little tweaks to your fitness plan along the way can really help you to see long-term results, and get out of that yo-yo dieting cycle we’ve all been sucked into before. I want you to truly understand what you’re doing on your health and fitness journey, and ultimately, be able to make it into a lifestyle!
