Episode description

The Oxford Dictionary defines trust as “a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something”.

Children begin learning about trust at a young age through the interactions in their home. It is believed by many developmental theorists that basic trust is necessary for healthy psychological development.

When mistrust occurs, even the most loving relationships can be damaged and if the adult experienced trust issues in childhood, he/she will react the same way they did as a child experiencing mistrust.

Andrea Glasser, a life coach, shares with listeners on today’s show methods for establishing trust in relationships and what to do if issues exist at home, with friendships or in the work environment.

Andrea can be reached for consultation via her email, [email protected] or through LinkedIn.
