Episode description

Constantine Campbell, professor and research director at the Sydney College of Divinity in Australia, joins David Capes on The Stone Chapel Podcast to talk about a new edition of a well-known book, Basics of Verbal Aspect in Biblical Greek (2nd edition, Zondervan Language Basics Series). He and David nerd out a little on the Greek, but they demonstrate how knowing verbal aspect—a universal
feature of languages—pays off when reading Scripture.

Con, as his friends know him, is also an amazing jazz saxophonist. We include a snippet of one of his songs, “Lykabettus” from the album Athina, released in March 2024. The album’s site is here: https://kavos.hearnow.com/athina
