Today America celebrates it's independence from the British Monarchy rule, but did every soul that touched American soil get their independence? In this episode I talk about the history of the holiday and why I personally chose not to celebrate. I introduce a speech that was given by Fredrick Douglas in 1852 regarding this momentous occasion and the that there men who were not created equal.
