Anahata is located in the kapha portion of the torso, so heart opening poses can help clear stagnant energy. It’s associate with the air/wind element so breath is really powerful for working with it. But it’s the relationship with pitta dosha that we can work with energetically to cultivate more love and compassion. Excess pitta leads to judgement, which is really what stands in the way of love- whether it’s for ourselves or others.
