Episode description

Some of the points I lived the most from Fooled by Randomness:
-things are less predictable than we like but that’s probably a good thing
-how people can overvalue their intellect and knowledge, at the expense of learning more (the more I learn the more I realise I don’t know)
-the black swan event is the one that you never seem coming but is almost guaranteed to come, and being protected from it means you survive
-via negativa, it’s easier to improve by removing than by adding
It a very deep book, and one that I plan on reading again probably immediately after I finish the whole set of 5/6 books that he’s written. I feel more myself, more genuine, more willing to be genuine, it was a really good read to follow on from Navalmanack, and has been lovely to more forward on this spiritual and psychological journey of betterment.
I am going to do podcasts whenever I feel like it, and no other schedule as set or recommend or “should do”, the more I read and dwell on these books and ideas and what they mean to me, the more I want to be closer to my true self, and doing o it what is valuable to me.
