You’re Being REPETITIVE and That’s OK
Episode description
I hear this a lot when it comes to network marketing events and trainings — “the content, the talks and speeches, they’re so REPETITIVE.”
Now, I’m starting to hear the same about content creation. The concern is that with such frequent publishing how does one avoid being repetitive.
The simple answer is, YOU DON’T
And here’s why:
- There’s always a new audience and since your goal is to always grow yours, the people who see your content today is going to be a fraction of the people who’ll see it tomorrow, or next week, or next month, etc
For example, I’ve only started following Brendon Burchard back early 2022. Prior to that, I had never even heard his name. Come to find out he’s been publishing content online for well over a decade now!
- The second reason, is less obvious. Because of the internet and social media, we’ve grown an unconscious need to be at the front of trends, of being in the know FIRST.
And we take this mindset into content creation thinking we need to come up with the freshest ideas and newest catch phrases hoping for “virality”
There’s nothing new under the sun and your success doesn’t rest on conjuring a new innovative idea. Stop chasing the white whale of going viral.
Just stay consistent with your publishing. Stay consistent with you message. Keep telling your story.
