What is Ethical Manipulation???🤷🏽‍♂️

During a recent Facebook LIVE I was asked the question, “What’s your opinion on ethical manipulation?”

I was baffled.  I hadn’t actually ever heard of the term before and I didn’t even think those two words could be used together.

Manipulation is taking away someone’s choice while making them think they still have one and then having them do something they otherwise wouldn’t — all for personal gain.

So what can be ethical about that?

If you ask me, NOTHING.

In my opinion, there is no equation that makes sense ethically.  And really it just sounds like flowery justification made by perpetrators of the manipulation.
